Sentence Labs

A technically credible company was more or less invisible.

Sentence Labs works on theme and sentiment detection, and almost nothing of it was online, so the buyers who needed it could not find it. GullySales researched the market and the competitors, rebuilt the website around what makes the company different, ran the full search programme, and put a content calendar behind it.

The problem they brought us

Where things stood.

Almost nothing of Sentence Labs was online, so a technically credible company was more or less invisible to the buyers who needed it.

The website held nobody's attention and was awkward to use. There was no search strategy, and nothing was being published on LinkedIn, which is where this kind of buyer reads.

What we did about it

The work, in the order it happened.

  1. 1

    Research first

In-depth market research and competitor analysis, to find what Sentence Labs could be known for.

  2. 2

    The website rebuilt

A rebuild around the company's own difference rather than around a general technology template.

  3. 3

    Search work across the board

On-page, local, off-page and technical search work, so the pages can be found by the terms buyers use.

  4. 4

    Google Business Profile

A Google Business Profile set up and completed.

  5. 5

    A content calendar

Blog posts, case studies and LinkedIn updates planned and published to a schedule.

  6. 6

    Regular client meetings

Meetings through design and development, so the work matched what the team knew about its own buyers.

Where it landed

The outcome.

No numbers were recorded for this engagement, so none are claimed. The work delivered is described above.

How we work

Tell us what you need, and we start from there.

You fill in the requirements brief. We read it, then talk to you about how enquiries arrive, how fast they are answered, and where orders are lost between the two. After that we send the scope, the fee and the term in writing.

We do not publish a price. We scope the work after that first conversation and put the fee in writing before anything begins, split three ways: our time, your media spend, and production. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing at the same time. No default twelve-month lock, no ranking guarantees.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
