Theme and sentiment analysis

Sentence Labs

Sentence Labs works in theme and sentiment detection, a field where a prospect decides quickly whether a company is serious. There was very little of the company online to decide on: no search strategy, nothing being published, and a website that was neither engaging nor easy to use. We researched the market, rebuilt the site, and put search and LinkedIn behind it.

The problem they brought us.

Almost nothing of Sentence Labs was online, so a technically credible company was more or less invisible to the buyers who needed it.

The website was neither engaging nor easy to use — an awkward thing for a business that sells analytical clarity.

With no SEO strategy in place, the company did not come up on the searches its buyers were already running.

Nothing was being published, so the professional audience on LinkedIn heard nothing from them at all.

What we did about it.

  1. Read the market before designing anything

In-depth market research and competitor analysis across the theme and sentiment detection sector, so the positioning came out of industry trends and what rivals were already saying rather than out of guesswork.

  2. Rebuilt the site around what makes them different

Creative sessions to draw out the qualities that are particular to Sentence Labs, then a clear, good-looking website template selected and built out to carry them.

  3. Made them findable

On-page, local, off-page and technical SEO across the site, plus a Google Business Profile so the company is present and managed across Google.

  4. Published to the audience they sell to

A content calendar of blog posts, case studies and LinkedIn updates, written for the technical buyer and written to be found in search.

  5. Kept the client in the room

Regular meetings ran through design and development, so feedback turned into changes as we went instead of arriving as a list at the end.

Where it landed.

  • Google rankings improved, and organic traffic rose with them — people now arrive who were not arriving before.
  • A website that is straightforward to use, giving a technical company a presence that matches the work.
  • Website performance and user engagement both improved, so visitors stay long enough to understand what is on offer.
  • A steady run of blog posts, case studies and LinkedIn updates now speaks for the company inside its own sector.
