Banks · Branding

Keep the same look on the passbook, the app and the branch signage.

Branding identity for a bank is the consistent name, colours and messaging across branch signage, passbooks, the mobile app and every printed form. It lets a customer recognise the bank the same way in every interaction. GullySales audits and fixes inconsistencies that quietly erode trust over time.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What branding means

Branding is what a customer remembers about your business beyond the product, including your name, colours, tone of voice and what you are known for locally. GullySales sets or corrects this once and applies it consistently across your website, signage and adverts so the business looks like one company everywhere.

For banks

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A passbook and an app should feel like the same bank”

A customer hands over a passbook printed in an old typeface after using a clean, modern app. He notices. The bank starts to look like two different banks.

  • “Branch signage in a new locality needs the same standard as an old one”

A newly opened branch with inconsistent signage or a different colour scheme confuses a customer who already recognises the brand from elsewhere in the city.

  • “Regional-language branding needs the same care as English branding”

A scheme name translated inconsistently across regional-language materials weakens recognition for exactly the customers those materials are meant to reach.

What we do

What we deliver for banks.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Consistency audit across branch, app and print

A branch-by-branch review of signage, forms, the app and the passbook, listing every mismatch in name, colour and terminology.

Result: You see every inconsistency in one list instead of guessing.

  2. Identity standard for new branch signage

A written specification for colours, logo placement and lettering so a newly opened branch matches every existing one exactly.

Result: A customer recognises a new branch the moment they see it.

  3. Regional-language name and scheme glossary

One approved translation for the bank's name, tagline and each scheme name, used consistently across every regional-language material.

Result: A scheme keeps the same name in every language a customer reads it in.

  4. Fix list in priority order

A written list of every inconsistency found, ranked by how visible it is to a customer, so budget goes to the worst mismatches first.

Result: You fix what customers actually notice, not what is easiest.

How the result is measured

  • Recognition in customer feedback
  • Consistency across channels
  • Repeat enquiries by name

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where the identity shows

The places a customer meets the bank, and what to check at each one.

Branch fascia and inside signage
Check the name, logo, colours and the regional-language version against the standard. A new branch and an old one should look like the same bank from the road.
Passbook, cheque book and forms
Lay the current print set side by side. Look for old logos, mismatched colours and product names that changed but were never reprinted, and list each one.
Mobile app and net banking
Compare the app's product names, icons and tone with the branch. A scheme called one thing at the counter and another in the app makes customers ask which is right.
Regional-language names of schemes
Keep one agreed translation for each scheme in a short glossary, used on signage, forms, posters and the app, so staff and customers use the same words.
Staff messages on WhatsApp and SMS
Read a sample of the templates staff send. The sender name, sign-off and product names should match the branch and app, and stay within what compliance has cleared.
Who approves a change
Write down who signs off a new poster, form or sign at branch, regional and head office level, so nothing local goes up that breaks the standard.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for banks

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your branch-level Google Business Profile, your reply time on calls and WhatsApp, and your reviews. Then we check where enquiries currently drop off between the counter and the loan desk.

  2. 2

Fix the profile and the reply

Every branch listing completed and accurate, a fast reply routine, and a shared record of every enquiry.

  3. 3

    Build the product pages

A clear page for each priority product, written for the customer's real question, with eligibility, documentation and a way to start an enquiry.

  4. 4

    Bring enquiries in

Local search, reviews from real customers, referrals, and paid search for products where the search already exists and you want it this quarter.

  5. 5

    Keep and deepen the relationship

Onboarding that gets a new account active, renewal reminders for deposits, and cross-selling that actually fits the customer.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do we check for inconsistencies?
We audit your branches, forms, app and signage together and list every mismatch, which is usually more revealing than expected.
Does this require a full rebrand?
Rarely. Most banks need consistency fixes across existing materials rather than a new visual identity altogether.
Can a branch make its own posters?
Only from the approved templates, and only for what the branch is allowed to promote locally. Product claims and rates come from head office or compliance. Give branches a template with the identity fixed and room for local details such as timings and the branch address.
Should old passbooks be replaced when the identity changes?
Not all at once. Replace stock as it runs out and print new books in the new standard, so customers see the change gradually. Fix forms that carry wrong product names first, because those cause the most questions at the counter.
How soon would we see more enquiries?
Fixing reply time and each branch's Google Business Profile is the quickest to show, because the searches are already happening. Ranking a home loan page for a town and building a stronger review base take longer.
Do we need to advertise?
Most branches benefit first from a faster reply and a complete profile, which cost nothing in media. Advertising helps for a specific product, such as a personal loan push before a festive season, where search demand is real.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
