Banks · Social media

Post the financial literacy tip a customer saves, not a generic scheme announcement.

Social media for a bank means genuinely useful content: a financial literacy tip, an explanation of a scheme, a community event recap. It aims at building trust over time, not a constant stream of promotional posts. GullySales plans and posts this on a schedule that balances usefulness and relevant promotion.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For banks

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Useful content earns more trust than constant promotion”

A short post explaining how to read a loan statement or avoid a common UPI scam builds long-term trust and engagement. A feed made up entirely of scheme advertisements does not.

  • “Community event content extends local goodwill online”

A post about a financial literacy camp or a local sponsorship shows a bank's presence in the community to a much wider audience than those who attended in person.

  • “Comment management matters as much as posting”

A customer complaint left as a public comment needs a prompt, professional reply, since an ignored comment is visible to every other visitor to that post.

What we do

What we deliver for banks.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Genuinely useful content calendar

A content plan built mostly from financial literacy tips and scheme explanations, not a constant stream of promotional posts.

Result: Followers get something worth reading, not just an advertisement.

  2. Community event recap content

Posts recapping a financial literacy camp or local sponsorship, extending its reach beyond those who attended in person.

Result: A local activity reaches a much wider audience online.

  3. Comment and message response routine

A designated person and a response routine for every public comment and direct message, including a complaint.

Result: No customer comment sits unanswered where every visitor can see it.

  4. Sustainable posting schedule

A posting pace your team can sustain with genuinely useful content, rather than a high-frequency schedule that runs out of substance.

Result: The feed stays worth following instead of thinning out.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Platform for this buyer

What a bank branch should post in each place, and what must wait for head office.

Fraud awareness on Facebook and Instagram
Post the plain fact that the bank never asks for an OTP, PIN or CVV on a call or message. Add how to reach the branch directly. The action is to call the branch if anything looks wrong.
Short YouTube explainers in the local language
Show the documents a branch asks for on a scheme, such as a crop loan or a savings account, as per the current bank circular. The action is to bring the documents to the branch.
Facebook for community and literacy camps
Recap a financial literacy camp or a local sponsorship with photographs, with permission from the people shown. The action is to visit the branch for the scheme details discussed.
WhatsApp broadcast, with opt-in
Send changes in branch timings, camp dates and holiday closures to account holders who agreed to receive them. The action is to visit or call the branch. Never send account details on this list.
Google Business Profile posts
Post holiday closures, ATM and cash-deposit availability and special counters for seniors. The action is a call or a request for directions.
What not to post
Rates, offers or scheme claims that head office or compliance has not approved, a customer's name, balance or transaction screenshot, or a reply that repeats account details in public.

Who it is for

This is written for these banks.

  • Private sector bank branches
  • Public sector bank branches
  • Regional rural banks
  • Cooperative banks
  • Small finance banks
  • Business correspondent networks
  • NRI-focused branches
  • MSME-focused branches

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for banks

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your branch-level Google Business Profile, your reply time on calls and WhatsApp, and your reviews. Then we check where enquiries currently drop off between the counter and the loan desk.

  2. 2

Fix the profile and the reply

Every branch listing completed and accurate, a fast reply routine, and a shared record of every enquiry.

  3. 3

    Build the product pages

A clear page for each priority product, written for the customer's real question, with eligibility, documentation and a way to start an enquiry.

  4. 4

    Bring enquiries in

Local search, reviews from real customers, referrals, and paid search for products where the search already exists and you want it this quarter.

  5. 5

    Keep and deepen the relationship

Onboarding that gets a new account active, renewal reminders for deposits, and cross-selling that actually fits the customer.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How often should we post?
A steady, sustainable pace of genuinely useful and relevant content works better than a high-frequency schedule that runs out of real substance quickly.
Who manages comments and messages?
A designated person following a response routine we help set up, so nothing sits unanswered for long.
Can our branch open its own Facebook or Instagram page?
Check the bank's social media policy first. Most banks keep official handles at head office, and an unofficial branch page can be mistaken for a fake account. The branch's Google Business Profile and the bank's official channels are the safer places to start.
A customer posted a complaint with their account number. What do we do?
Do not repeat or confirm the details. Reply politely, ask them to move to the bank's official grievance channel and offer a direct call from the branch. Ask them to hide the number from the post. Follow the bank's own complaint process for the rest.
How soon would we see more enquiries?
Fixing reply time and each branch's Google Business Profile is the quickest to show, because the searches are already happening. Ranking a home loan page for a town and building a stronger review base take longer.
Do we need to advertise?
Most branches benefit first from a faster reply and a complete profile, which cost nothing in media. Advertising helps for a specific product, such as a personal loan push before a festive season, where search demand is real.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
