Quora marketing · Marketing

Answer the questions your buyers ask, and be the name they remember.

Quora is a place where people ask a question in full and wait for a real answer. A buyer asking which CRM suits a ten-person firm, how to choose an interior designer in Bengaluru or whether a hair transplant is safe is further along than someone scrolling a feed.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph

Quora marketing is the writing of useful answers to questions your buyers ask on Quora, under the real name of someone in your business. GullySales researches the questions, drafts the answers with your expert, and links to your website only where the link helps the reader.

A good answer there is long-lived. It can be found through Google months later, and it shows the reader who explained it well. We find the questions that matter to your trade, draft answers from what your expert actually knows, and publish them under a genuine profile.

This is slow work with low volume. A few well-chosen answers do more than a hundred pasted links, and Quora will remove accounts that spam. If your buyers are local, small-ticket or do not research online, we will point you to Google Business Profile or WhatsApp instead.

The problem

Does this sound like your business?

What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.

  • “Buyers ask the same questions you answer on the phone every week”

The answers exist in your head and in WhatsApp chats. Nobody outside the conversation ever sees them.

  • “Quora was tried with links and the account was blocked”

Answers that were really adverts were marked as spam. The account lost its reach, and the business concluded the platform does not work.

  • “Your expert has no time to write”

The person with the knowledge is a doctor, an engineer or the owner, and writing an answer competes with a full day of work.

  • “No way to tell whether an answer brought anyone”

Views are shown, enquiries are not. Without tagged links and a question on the form, the answer's value is guesswork.

What we do

Everything that is included.

Each deliverable, and what it gets you. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Profile set-up

A profile in the name of a real person in your business, with credentials stated honestly and a short line on what they do.

  2. Question research

A list of the questions your buyers ask, drawn from Quora search, Google and the queries your sales team hears, ranked by who asks them.

  3. Answer drafting

Answers written from a short conversation with your expert, in plain language, with a clear position and an example from Indian practice.

  4. Expert review

Nothing is published until your expert has read it. For regulated professions, your council's rules on advertising decide what can be said.

  5. Links, used sparingly

A link to your website goes in only where the page adds to the answer. Many answers carry none.

  6. Quora Spaces, if worthwhile

A Space built around your subject where it suits the trade, for buyers who want to follow you.

  7. Tracking

Tagged links and a how-did-you-hear question on your enquiry form, so a Quora enquiry can be counted.

How the result is measured

  • Answers published and their views
  • Upvotes and follow-up comments
  • Visits to your website from Quora
  • Enquiries that name Quora as the source
  • Questions answered that also rank on Google

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for you if these sound familiar.

  • B2B firms, software companies and consultants whose buyers research before they speak to anyone
  • Doctors, lawyers, CAs and advisers who want to explain a subject well, within their council's advertising rules
  • Education, study abroad and coaching businesses answering questions parents and students ask
  • Manufacturers and exporters selling a technical product that buyers compare
  • Founders who would rather write one thoughtful answer than post daily

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your customers are local walk-ins who find you on Maps, Google Business Profile will do more
  • You want a large number of enquiries quickly, Quora is slow and the volume is low
  • You want someone to post under invented names or push links into unrelated threads, we do not do that and Quora removes it

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the Quora marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Decide whether it fits

We read your brief and search for your buyers' questions. If few exist, we say so and stop.

  2. 2

    Set up the profile

One real person, with an honest description. We never create extra accounts.

  3. 3

    Pick the questions

Questions that real buyers ask and where an honest answer from you helps the reader.

  4. 4

    Draft with your expert

A short conversation, then the written answer, then your approval.

  5. 5

    Publish and measure

Answers go out, and we track views, follow-ups and enquiries against your baseline. Reporting is agreed in writing.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

    The conversation on its own

A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

    An ongoing programme

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.

Your brief

Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Does Quora work for Indian businesses?
It works for businesses whose buyers research in English before they enquire: software, consulting, education, healthcare advice and technical products. For local, walk-in trades it is not worth the time.
Will you use fake accounts or buy upvotes?
No. Quora removes accounts that do, and a buyer who spots a fake answer stops trusting you. Every answer goes out under a real person who has agreed to it.
How long before Quora brings enquiries?
Slowly. Answers build up and keep being found, but the volume stays low compared with Google or ads. We will not give a date.
Can I put my website link in every answer?
You can, and it will be treated as spam. A link belongs only where it adds something the answer cannot say.
I am a doctor or a lawyer. Can I answer questions?
Often, yes, as general information, but your council's advertising rules apply and the registration at risk is yours. Check with your council or compliance adviser before anything is published.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
