Business Development Trainee

You will spend most of each day finding businesses that might need us and calling them cold. A senior salesperson checks your lead lists and call notes every week, and the real test is whether a stranger agrees to a second conversation.

What you will do

  • Find and list businesses worth calling, using Google, LinkedIn, directories and referrals
  • Call prospects, introduce GullySales, and write down what they actually need
  • Follow up by phone, WhatsApp and email until you get a clear yes or no
  • Book meetings and demos for the senior sales team, with the background written up
  • Update the CRM the same day: every call, every reply, every next step
  • Report weekly on calls made, meetings booked and where each lead stands

What we are looking for

  • Confidence to call a business owner who has never heard of you
  • Comfortable working in Google Sheets, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and a CRM
  • English plus Kannada or Hindi, since not every call happens in English
  • Follow-up discipline: a lead who does not answer today gets called again tomorrow
  • Any graduate; what you did in a past internship or telecalling job matters more than the degree

Apply

Apply for Business Development Trainee.

A short form and your CV. No cover letter needed: tell us about one thing you have actually done.

  1. 1

    Send the form

Your details, your CV and a few lines about something you have actually done.

  2. 2

    We read every application

Someone who does the work reads it, not a filter. You get an email copy straight away.

  3. 3

A short call if it fits

We call to talk about the role and the work you described.

  4. 4

    A conversation about real work

For most roles, a small practical exercise or a walk through work you have done.

  5. 5

    A decision either way

You hear back from us, whether or not we take it further.
