GullySales

A website built to explain your offer and bring you enquiries, not just to exist.

Gully Sales plans, writes, designs and builds your website end to end, from discovery to launch, so the site says what you do, answers what buyers ask, and hands every enquiry to your team in a form they can act on.

  • Every page written from what your buyers ask, not from what the old brochure said.
  • Forms, WhatsApp and phone enquiries that land where your team will actually see them.
  • A site your own staff can update after launch without calling a developer.

Gully Sales Private Limited builds and operates marketing, sales and revenue systems for small and medium businesses across India.

In one paragraph

What is Website Design and Development?

Website design and development is the complete work of planning, writing, designing, building and launching a business website. Gully Sales does it end to end for Indian SMBs that need a new site: discovery with your team, a sitemap built around buyer questions, page content, a design system, development, integrations with your enquiry channels, testing and launch, with the site set up so your staff can run it afterwards.

The problem

The website was made to have a website, so it does not do anything.

The site was put together by whoever was free at the time, and it was never given a job to do. The homepage says who you are. The services page lists what you sell. A contact form sits at the end. It was never designed to do a job, so nobody is surprised that it does not do one. Meanwhile buyers, dealers and job candidates visit it before they call you, form a view, and act on that view without telling you. This is not a failure of effort. It is what happens when a site is treated as a document instead of as a working part of the business.

You will recognise it as

  • Enquiries come through WhatsApp and referrals, and almost none can be traced to the website.
  • The site describes the company but does not answer the questions a buyer asks before shortlisting a supplier.
  • Nobody in the office can change a price, a photo or a phone number without emailing the developer.
  • The site looks fine on the laptop it was approved on and is awkward on the phone most visitors use.
  • Form submissions go to an inbox nobody checks, or arrive without the details a salesperson needs to call back.
  • The last agency has moved on, and the login, the domain and the hosting are in someone else's name.

What it costs the business

  • Prospects who found you through a reference or a search leave without enquiring, and you never learn they were there.
  • Salespeople spend the first ten minutes of every call explaining what a working site would have explained for them.
  • Marketing spend, when it happens, sends traffic to pages that were never built to convert it, so the spend looks like it failed.
  • Every small change becomes a ticket and a wait, so the site slips further behind what the business actually sells.

Why it persists. A website is easy to postpone because the business keeps running without one that works. Referrals still come. Existing customers still call. The cost of the missing enquiries is invisible, so the site is judged on whether it looks acceptable, not on what it produces. And most quotes for a new site describe pages and features, not the job the site must do, so owners compare prices without a way to compare outcomes.

If it stays unresolved. The gap widens. Competitors with a clearer site are shortlisted first, even when your product is stronger. New sales hires inherit a site that undercuts them. And when the business finally invests in campaigns or SEO, the money arrives at a destination that was never built to receive it.

What changes

What a site built around enquiries changes for your business.

In the first weeks

  • A written brief and sitemap that settles what the site must do before any design is shown.
  • Page content that answers buyer questions, written and approved before development begins.
  • One place, agreed with your team, where every enquiry from the site arrives.

In how the work runs

  • Your staff can edit pages, prices, photos and contact details without a developer.
  • Enquiries arrive with the fields your salesperson needs to qualify and call back.
  • Domain, hosting and logins are in your company's name, documented and handed over.

In sales and marketing

  • Prospects arrive at sales calls already knowing what you do and for whom.
  • Referred buyers who check the site before calling find the confidence to call.

In what management can see

  • Pages structured so search engines can read what each one is about and index it properly.
  • A site ready to receive campaign traffic, so later marketing spend has somewhere useful to land.

Over the longer term

  • A platform the business can extend with new pages, products or locations as it grows.
  • A record of what was built and why, so future changes are decisions, not guesswork.

Gully Sales controls the discovery, content, design, build, integrations, testing and launch. Enquiry volume, lead quality and search visibility depend on your market, your offer and the traffic that reaches the site; we set the site up to measure them so you can see what follows.

Who it is for

This is for businesses that need a website that does a job.

The businesses it suits

  • Manufacturers, distributors and B2B service firms whose buyers check the website before calling.
  • Clinics, studios and professional practices that need bookings and enquiries, not just a presence.
  • Businesses launching a new company, division or product that has no site yet.
  • Owners whose current site cannot be edited, is not mobile-friendly, or belongs to a vendor who has moved on.
  • Companies planning campaigns or SEO who know the current site would waste the traffic.
  • Directors who want one accountable partner for content, design and build rather than three vendors to coordinate.

What usually prompts the call

  • A new business, brand or product line needs a site before its first sales push.
  • A salesperson or dealer has said the website is embarrassing to send to prospects.
  • The previous developer is unreachable and nobody has the logins.
  • Marketing budget is being planned and the site is the obvious weak link.
  • The business has outgrown a template site and needs pages for what it now sells.

What Gully Sales does

The work, component by component.

Discovery

Structured sessions with your owner, sales and service staff, plus a review of your existing site, competitors and the questions buyers actually ask on calls.

Why it matters:
A site built without discovery reflects what the company says about itself, not what a buyer needs to hear.
You receive:
A written website brief: purpose, audiences, buyer questions, enquiry paths, constraints.
Business value:
Everyone, including you, knows what the site must do before any money goes into design.

Sitemap and page plan

The list of pages, what each one must answer, how they link, and where each enquiry action sits, drawn up from the brief.

Why it matters:
Structure decides whether a visitor finds the answer in two clicks or leaves; it is cheaper to fix on paper than in code.
You receive:
Sitemap, page-by-page purpose notes and enquiry-path map.
Business value:
No page exists without a reason, and no buyer question is left without a page.

Content

Headlines, page copy, calls to action and form wording written for each page in plain business English, then reviewed with your team for accuracy.

Why it matters:
Design cannot rescue vague copy; buyers decide on the words, and content written after design is always squeezed to fit.
You receive:
Approved copy for every page, plus a shot list for photographs and product images.
Business value:
The site explains your offer the way your most experienced salesperson would.

Design system

Colour, type, spacing, buttons, cards and page layouts defined once from your brand identity and applied to every page, on phone and desktop.

Why it matters:
A system keeps pages consistent and makes later additions look like they belong; one-off page designs drift.
You receive:
Design system file and clickable page designs for review.
Business value:
You approve the look once, and every future page inherits it.

Development

The site is built on a platform chosen for your needs, with an editor your staff can use, clean structure for search engines and no dependence on one developer.

Why it matters:
How a site is built decides who can maintain it, how fast it loads and whether search engines can read it.
You receive:
Working site on a staging address, with an editing guide for your team.
Business value:
You own a site you can run, not a black box you must keep paying for.

Integrations

Forms, WhatsApp click-to-chat, phone links, booking tools, CRM or spreadsheet delivery of enquiries, and basic analytics wired in and tested.

Why it matters:
An enquiry that arrives in the wrong inbox, or with missing details, is an enquiry lost.
You receive:
Each enquiry path tested end to end, with a record of where every submission lands.
Business value:
Your team receives enquiries where they work, with the information to act.

Testing

Every page checked on real phones and browsers, every link and form exercised, content proofread against the approved copy, and load speed reviewed.

Why it matters:
Most website complaints after launch are things a checklist would have caught the week before.
You receive:
A test log with issues found and fixed, signed off before launch.
Business value:
Launch day is uneventful, which is what a launch day should be.

Launch and handover

Domain and hosting set up in your name, the site moved live, search engine tools connected, redirects from old pages applied, and your staff shown how to edit.

Why it matters:
A launch that skips redirects, ownership or training creates the next year's problems on day one.
You receive:
Live site, ownership documentation, and a recorded handover session.
Business value:
The site is yours, in every sense, from the day it goes live.

What you will have at the end.

  • Website brief covering purpose, audiences, buyer questions and enquiry paths.
  • Sitemap and page-by-page plan with the enquiry action for each page.
  • Approved copy for every page, including headlines, calls to action and form wording.
  • Photograph and image shot list, with guidance on what each page needs.
  • Design system: colour, type, components and layouts applied across phone and desktop.
  • Clickable page designs for review before development.
  • Built website on an editable platform, with an editing guide written for your staff.
  • Integrated enquiry paths: forms, WhatsApp, phone, booking and delivery to CRM or inbox.
  • Test log covering devices, browsers, links, forms and content accuracy.
  • Launch checklist: domain, hosting, redirects, search engine tools and analytics.
  • Ownership document listing every account, login location and renewal date in your name.
  • Recorded handover session and a post-launch issue window agreed in the scope.

How it runs

The engagement, step by step.

  1. 1

    Discovery

We interview your owner, sales and service people, review your current site and competitors, and list the questions buyers ask before they enquire. We also confirm which enquiry channels your team actually monitors.

    You provide:
Time from the owner and one or two sales or service staff; access to the current site; examples of recent enquiries.
    We produce:
A written website brief and a list of open decisions.
    Done when:
You have signed off the brief and the enquiry paths.
  2. 2

    Sitemap and page plan

From the brief we draw the site structure: which pages exist, what each answers, how they link and where the calls to action sit. We resolve open questions with you before anything is designed.

    You provide:
Feedback on the structure; decisions on products, services or locations to include.
    We produce:
Sitemap, page purpose notes and enquiry-path map.
    Done when:
Every page has an agreed purpose and every buyer question has a home.
  3. 3

    Content

We write every page, using the language your buyers and salespeople use, and prepare a shot list for images. Your team reviews for accuracy and we revise.

    You provide:
Facts, specifications, certifications you hold, and one reviewer with authority to approve.
    We produce:
Final copy for every page and the image shot list.
    Done when:
Copy is approved in writing, page by page.
  4. 4

    Design

We define the design system from your brand and lay out the pages around the approved content, for phone and desktop. You review clickable designs and we adjust.

    You provide:
Brand files, logo, any existing guidelines, and consolidated feedback in one round where possible.
    We produce:
Design system and approved page designs.
    Done when:
You have approved the look of every template and key page.
  5. 5

    Development and integration

We build the site on a staging address, connect forms, WhatsApp, phone, booking and CRM or inbox delivery, and set up analytics and search engine tools.

    You provide:
Access to domain, hosting, CRM or email accounts; images from the shot list.
    We produce:
A working site on staging with every enquiry path connected.
    Done when:
All pages are built and every integration is live on staging.
  6. 6

    Testing

We test on real phones and browsers, exercise every link and form, proofread against approved copy and review load speed. Your team does a final walkthrough.

    You provide:
A final review of the staging site and confirmation that test enquiries arrived.
    We produce:
A test log with every issue found and its fix.
    Done when:
The test log is clear and you have signed off the staging site.
  7. 7

    Launch and handover

We move the site live, apply redirects from old pages, confirm ownership of domain and hosting in your name, and train your staff on editing. A post-launch window covers anything that surfaces.

    You provide:
A launch date, the staff who will edit the site, and a point of contact for the post-launch window.
    We produce:
Live site, ownership document, recorded handover session.
    Done when:
The site is live, documented, and your staff have made their first edit.

Ways to work with us

Take the whole build, or only the parts your own team cannot cover.

Complete website build

Discovery through launch, with Gully Sales writing the content, designing the system and building the site. Suited to businesses with no marketing team and one accountable partner in mind.

Build on your content

You already have approved copy or an in-house writer. We run discovery, structure, design, development, integrations, testing and launch, and edit your content to fit the page plan.

Build with ongoing care

The complete build, followed by a monthly arrangement for updates, new pages, monitoring and small improvements, so the site keeps pace with what the business sells.

Why Gully Sales

What you are actually choosing when you choose us.

We build from the sales conversation, not the brochure.

Gully Sales works on sales and marketing systems, not only websites, so discovery starts with what buyers ask on calls and what salespeople wish the site explained for them.

Content comes before design, every time.

Pages are written and approved before they are designed, so the design serves the argument instead of the copy being trimmed to fit boxes that were drawn first.

Enquiry paths are tested, not assumed.

Every form, WhatsApp link and phone number is exercised end to end, and we record where each submission lands, before anyone calls the site finished.

You own everything, in your name.

Domain, hosting, platform accounts and analytics are set up or transferred to your company, documented, and handed over, so no future vendor change can hold the site hostage.

Your staff can run it after we leave.

The platform is chosen and configured so a non-technical person can edit pages, and the handover session is recorded so the next hire can learn it too.

Where it applies

The same service, in different businesses.

Industrial manufacturing

The situation:
A component manufacturer supplies OEMs and distributors but its site is a five-page brochure with no product detail, so buyers call to ask basic questions.
How it applies:
Discovery with the sales team identifies the specifications and applications buyers check first; product pages are written around them, with a technical enquiry form that captures the fields sales needs.
Likely benefit:
Buyers arrive at the call already qualified, and the sales team stops answering the same questions by phone.

Healthcare clinics

The situation:
A specialist clinic depends on referrals and walk-ins, and its site does not explain treatments, doctors or how to book.
How it applies:
Treatment and doctor pages answer patient questions in plain language, with booking and WhatsApp paths tested to reach the front desk.
Likely benefit:
Patients who research before visiting find the confidence to book, and the front desk receives complete requests.

Professional services

The situation:
A CA, legal or consulting firm has grown by reputation and its site is a single page with a logo and an address.
How it applies:
Service pages set out who the firm serves and how engagement works, with a consultation request form and a page for each practice area.
Likely benefit:
Referred prospects can verify the firm's fit before calling, and enquiries arrive with enough context to route to the right partner.

Distribution and dealer networks

The situation:
A distributor needs to attract new dealers and support existing ones, but the site serves neither and dealer enquiries are lost in a general inbox.
How it applies:
Separate paths for prospective dealers and for end customers, each with its own pages, forms and delivery to the right person.
Likely benefit:
Dealer enquiries reach the channel manager with the details needed to evaluate them.

Education and training

The situation:
A training institute runs courses that change every term, and every change requires the developer to edit the site.
How it applies:
The site is built on an editable platform with course templates, so staff add and retire courses themselves, with enrolment enquiries routed to admissions.
Likely benefit:
The site stays current with the actual course calendar, and admissions receives enquiries with the course and batch already named.

Interior design and architecture

The situation:
A studio's work is visual, but its site shows a handful of old photographs and no way to understand the process or start a project.
How it applies:
Project pages present work by type and scope, a process page sets expectations, and a project enquiry form captures budget range and location.
Likely benefit:
The studio spends its first meetings with clients whose expectations already match its work.

Proof

Work we can point to.

Houzeome, an interior design studio in Bangalore

The problem:
The studio needed a complete, brand-aligned website rather than a template presence.
What we did:
Gully Sales designed and built the site from visual identity through a fully custom Laravel build and production launch.
The result:
The study records a fully custom, production-live website at houzeome.com secured with HTTPS, six real project pages, a consistent brand identity across every page, copy in the studio’s own voice, and a working enquiry pipeline.

Questions buyers ask

Before you enquire, the answers you will want.

What content, integrations and approvals do you need from us?

From your side we need facts: what you sell, to whom, the specifications and proof you hold, and access to your current site, domain, hosting and any CRM or booking tool. We write the content; you review it for accuracy. We need one person with authority to approve the brief, the copy and the designs, and staff who will edit the site after launch to attend the handover. Photographs come from you or a photographer we brief with a shot list.

How long does a website build take?

It depends on the number of pages, how quickly content is reviewed, and how many integrations are involved. We give you a schedule after discovery, once scope is known, and we show which steps depend on your approvals so delays are visible early. In our experience the calendar is driven far more by review turnaround on content and design than by development time, so a reviewer with time and authority is the biggest factor you control.

How is success measured after launch?

Against the baseline we record before launch, or the first month after launch where no baseline exists. We report qualified conversion rate, form completion, lead quality as judged by your team, page speed and engagement, and checkout or booking completion where relevant. The site is set up with analytics and enquiry tracking so these are measurable, and we distinguish what the site did from what traffic and campaigns did.

What is excluded from a website design and development scope?

Ongoing SEO and content marketing, paid campaigns, photography and video production, product catalogue data entry beyond an agreed number of items, and e-commerce cart and payment systems are separate services. So are hosting fees, domain renewals and third-party tool subscriptions, which are paid by you in your own name. The written scope lists what is included, and anything outside it is quoted separately before work begins.

Do we need a new website, or a redesign of the existing one?

If your current site has a sound structure and is editable but looks dated or converts poorly, a redesign may be enough, and our website redesign service covers that. If the structure is wrong, the platform cannot be edited, the code is unmaintained or nobody owns the accounts, a new build is usually cheaper than trying to save it. A short review of your existing site tells us which, and we say so before quoting.

Which platform do you build on?

We choose after discovery, based on what your staff need to edit, the integrations required, the expected growth, and who will maintain the site. For most SMB sites that means a widely supported content management system your team can learn; for sites with specific application needs we build custom. We explain the choice and its maintenance implications in the scope, and we do not lock you to a platform only we can service.

Will our staff be able to update the site themselves?

Yes, and that is a design goal, not an afterthought. Pages, text, images, prices, contact details and, where relevant, products or courses are editable through an interface a non-technical person can use. We write an editing guide for your site, record the handover session, and ask your staff to make a real edit before we sign off, so the ability is proven rather than promised.

Who owns the website, domain and hosting once it is live?

Your company does. Domain, hosting, platform accounts, analytics and search engine tools are registered in your company's name or transferred to it at launch. We give you an ownership document listing every account, where the login lives and when each renewal falls due. If a previous vendor holds any of these, we help you recover them as part of the launch work.

3 more questions

Will the new website rank on Google?

We build the site so search engines can read it: clean structure, one clear topic per page, sensible headings, fast loading, and search engine tools connected at launch. That is the foundation. Rankings depend on competition, content over time and authority, which are the work of an SEO programme rather than a build. We do not promise rankings; we make sure the site does not stand in the way of them.

What happens if something breaks after launch?

A post-launch window is included in every build, during which anything that surfaces from the launch is fixed as part of the scope. After that you can choose an ongoing care arrangement for updates, monitoring and new pages, or call us as needed. Either way, the site is documented and in your name, so you are never dependent on us or on any one developer to keep it running.

Can you work with our existing brand, or do we need branding first?

If you have a logo and some settled colours, that is enough to start; the design system extends them into a full set of website components. If the brand itself is unresolved, or the logo exists in several versions nobody has approved, we say so during discovery and recommend settling it first, because a site built on an unsettled identity will need rebuilding when the identity is fixed.
