Ayurveda and alternative wellness centres · Wellness

Be chosen for the care you give, not for a cure you cannot claim.

People come to an Ayurveda or naturopathy centre for many reasons. It may be family tradition, a doctor's suggestion to try something alongside treatment, or a Panchakarma programme during the Karkidakam month. They are careful buyers. Before committing a week or three, they want to know who the physician is and what each day of the programme involves.

A 45-minute audit call, a written and scored report within a few working days, then a monthly report against your baseline.

In one paragraph

Marketing for an Ayurveda or alternative wellness centre is being found and trusted by people seeking traditional therapies, within laws that forbid cure claims. Sales is turning an enquiry about a therapy or a stay into a booked consultation and a completed programme. GullySales writes therapy pages that show the physician, and sets up consultation-first booking and follow-up.

The category is crowded with bold claims, and regulators have noticed. Misleading Ayurveda advertising has been before the Supreme Court, and the law has long barred advertising that claims to treat a list of diseases. A centre that shows its qualified physician and describes its therapies honestly stands apart.

How buyers decide

How ayurveda and alternative wellness centres are chosen.

For a local centre, the search is personal and often led by family. Someone with joint pain or poor sleep is told by a relative to see an Ayurveda doctor. They search for a Panchakarma centre nearby and look for the physician's BAMS or MD. Reviews that mention clean therapy rooms and courteous therapists carry weight.

For a residential programme or a retreat, the decision takes weeks. The person compares two or three centres in Kerala, Karnataka or Uttarakhand. They read about the daily schedule, the food and the length of stay, then ask on WhatsApp whether the programme suits them. Many prefer treatment during the Kerala monsoon, when Karkidakam programmes are traditionally sought.

A consultation closes the booking. On a call or video session, the physician asks about health history and current medicines. Then they explain what the programme can and cannot do, which builds trust no brochure can. International visitors also need clarity on the visa and what the stay includes, and a named coordinator who answers.

The problem

What usually goes wrong for ayurveda and alternative wellness centres.

What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.

  • People ask whether we can cure their condition and we do not know how to answer

A caller asks if our therapy will cure their diabetes or arthritis, and a vague reply sounds evasive while a yes would be a claim we must not make.

  • Our old posts make claims we are now worried about

Past social media posts and brochures used words like cure and permanent relief, and we are unsure what to remove.

  • Retreat enquiries ask for prices and never book

We send a rate card for a fourteen-day programme by email, and most people never reply because they have not spoken to anyone yet.

  • The physician is invisible online

Our centre has an experienced doctor, but the website shows only the building and massage photographs, so it looks like a spa.

  • Guests finish a programme and we never hear from them again

Someone completes Panchakarma, goes home with a diet and routine, and we have no follow-up or reason for them to return next season.

  • Our bookings collapse outside the season

The monsoon months are full, and the rest of the year the therapy rooms sit empty on weekdays.

What we do

What we do for ayurveda and alternative wellness centres.

Everything included for ayurveda and alternative wellness centres, and the result each part is there to produce.

  1. Claims review of existing material

A line-by-line check of your website, brochures, listings and recent posts for disease cure and guaranteed result language, with rewrites for each.

Result: Your material no longer carries claims that could draw a complaint.

  2. Physician profiles

A page for each physician with qualification, registration number from the state board or the relevant national commission, experience and the kinds of consultation they give.

Result: Visitors see a qualified doctor, not only a massage room.

  3. Programme pages with the daily schedule

A page for each programme describing length, daily routine, food, accommodation, what is included and who it may not suit.

Result: A retreat enquiry arrives already understanding what the stay involves.

  4. Consultation-first booking routine

Replies on WhatsApp and email that offer a physician consultation before sending a rate card, with an intake form for health history and current medicines.

Result: More enquiries turn into a conversation, and then a booking.

  5. Google Business Profile and travel listings

Your clinic profile and your listings on travel and booking platforms completed with therapies, photographs and physician details.

Result: Both a local patient and a visiting guest find the right information.

  6. Guest follow-up and seasonal reminder

A physician check-in a few weeks after a programme and a consented reminder before the next season.

Result: Guests who benefited come back and bring family.

  7. Monthly occupancy and enquiry report

Enquiries, consultations, bookings and therapy room occupancy each month, measured against where the centre stood when we began.

Result: You see which programmes and sources fill the calendar.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries by source and programme
  • Enquiries that became physician consultations
  • Consultations that became booked programmes
  • Therapy room occupancy by month
  • Returning guests and referrals
  • Reviews received and replied to

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Worth a page and a campaign of their own

Physician consultation and prakriti assessment · Panchakarma programmes · Karkidakam monsoon programmes · Residential retreats of one to three weeks · Stress, sleep and lifestyle programmes · Abhyanga and other therapy sessions · Naturopathy stays and diet programmes · Postnatal care programmes · Programmes for international visitors

Priority campaigns

Campaigns for what ayurveda and alternative wellness centres most want to sell.

Each one planned around when your buyers decide, and measured against the baseline.

  • Karkidakam monsoon programme

A programme page, email to past guests and outreach to travel planners, opened a few months before the Kerala monsoon.

Result: The season fills early with guests who have planned their stay.

  • Weekday stress and sleep programme

A short programme for working people, promoted through search and LinkedIn to nearby offices, described as rest and routine rather than treatment.

Result: Weekday therapy slots fill outside the peak season.

  • Postnatal care programme

A page and outreach to maternity hospitals and gynaecologists for traditional postnatal care at the centre or at home.

Result: Families planning postnatal care book well before the birth.

  • Corporate wellness days

A proposal for company wellness days with a physician talk and short therapy sessions, followed by individual consultation offers.

Result: Employees who attend become individual guests.

  • International guest campaign

An English programme guide, a visa and travel page, and outreach to overseas wellness travel planners, timed to their planning months.

Result: Longer, higher-value stays are booked well in advance.

Beyond search

Where we reach buyers of ayurveda and alternative wellness centres, beyond Google.

Search matters, but it is rarely the only way this industry's buyers find a supplier.

  • Doctors open to complementary care

We prepare a factual note for physicians and orthopaedists whose patients ask about Ayurveda alongside their treatment.

  • Hotels and resorts

We prepare a partnership proposal for hotels that want a wellness offer for guests without running a centre themselves.

  • Travel planners and wellness tour operators

We prepare a programme sheet and commission terms for planners who send domestic and international wellness guests.

  • Yoga studios and teachers

We prepare a referral arrangement with yoga teachers whose students ask about Ayurvedic routine and diet.

  • Company HR and wellness teams

We prepare an outreach note and a session format for employee wellness programmes in nearby offices.

How the work runs for ayurveda and alternative wellness centres

  1. 1

We review your website, listings, brochures and social posts for claims that need removing, and trace how enquiries become consultations and bookings.

    Put the physician first

  4. 4

    Fill the calendar

Local search for the clinic, seasonal programme pages for retreats, and outreach to hotels, travel planners and corporate wellness buyers for the off-season.

  5. 5

    Bring guests back

A post-programme follow-up from the physician, a consented seasonal reminder, and a referral ask to guests who were happy with their stay.

FAQ

Questions ayurveda and alternative wellness centres ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What are we allowed to say about treating diseases?
Very little in advertising. The Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act bars advertisements that claim to treat a listed set of diseases. The Supreme Court's recent hearings on misleading Ayurveda advertising have made regulators watchful. We describe therapies, the physician's approach and what a stay involves, and leave clinical advice to the consultation.
Can we advertise our Ayurvedic medicines?
The rules on advertising Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani drugs have changed and been challenged in court recently, so we do not advertise medicines without checking the current position with you. Most centres do better promoting consultations and programmes than products.
Can guests share their experience on our website?
Guests can review your centre on Google and travel platforms in their own words. On your own pages, we share experiences of the stay, the food and the care, with consent, and avoid any story that implies a medical cure.
How do we fill therapy rooms outside the monsoon season?
With programmes that fit the rest of the year. Short stress and sleep programmes for working people, weekend packages with nearby hotels, and corporate wellness days fill weekdays that seasonal guests leave empty.
How do we reach international guests?
Through a clear programme page in English, answers on visas, travel and what the stay includes, and relationships with travel planners who send wellness guests. India's AYUSH visa exists for foreign visitors coming for traditional treatment, and we explain it plainly on the page.
Should the physician appear in videos?
Yes, if they are comfortable. A physician explaining how a day at the centre runs builds more trust than footage of an oil massage. The video must still make no claim about curing a condition.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
