Keep the fleet on the road on weekdays, not only on long weekends.

A car rental business earns only when its cars are moving. A fleet that is fully booked for Diwali, summer holidays and long weekends can sit idle for days in between, while the monthly EMIs, insurance and driver salaries continue. Filling weekdays with corporate, airport and lease work is what makes the fleet pay.

A 45-minute audit call, a written and scored report within a few working days, then a monthly report against your baseline.

In one paragraph

Car rental marketing gets families and companies to book your cars directly for outstation trips, airport runs, self-drive and monthly leases. Car rental sales turns a late-night price enquiry into a booking and a corporate account into weekday trips. GullySales puts your routes on search, sends an all-in WhatsApp quote fast, and brings each customer back without the aggregator.

Aggregator apps and travel portals bring bookings, but they take a commission and keep the customer. The family that booked an Innova for Coorg through an app last year will open the same app again next year. They book you directly only if the trip gave them a reason and a number to call.

How buyers decide

How car rental companies are chosen.

For outstation trips, families search things like Bangalore to Mysore cab or tempo traveller for Ooty. They compare two or three operators on Google Maps, JustDial and aggregators such as Savaari, then message for a quote. They want the per-kilometre rate, minimum kilometres, driver bata, tolls and night charges spelt out. The first operator to reply with an all-in figure and a photo of the actual vehicle usually gets the booking.

Self-drive customers are younger and book on apps and websites. They compare the deposit, kilometre limit, fuel policy and insurance, and read reviews about deposit refunds. Self-drive cars must run under the Rent a Cab scheme with the right permits and plates, so an operator that is clearly licensed wins trust.

Corporate clients choose differently. An admin or travel desk manager needs airport transfers and cars for visiting clients. They ask for a rate contract, GST invoices, one point of contact and proof of driver verification and GPS tracking. Wedding planners and travel agents also book in bulk, and return to the operator whose cars turned up on time at the last event.

The problem

What usually goes wrong for car rental companies.

What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.

  • Our cars are fully booked on long weekends and idle on weekdays

We turn away bookings on holiday weekends and then have half the fleet parked from Monday to Thursday.

  • Aggregators take a large share of every trip

Most of our bookings come through apps and online travel portals, and we have no direct relationship with customers who travel with us every year.

  • Customers complain about hidden charges after the trip

Driver bata, tolls, parking and extra kilometres were not clear in the quote, and the complaint ends up as a one-star review.

  • WhatsApp quote requests are answered hours later

Someone asks for a tempo traveller rate at night, we reply in the morning, and they have already booked another operator.

  • We have no corporate accounts, only walk-in trips

Offices nearby need airport cars every week, but we have never approached their admin team with a rate contract.

  • Self-drive deposit disputes are hurting our reviews

Damage and refund disagreements turn into public complaints because the terms and the handover checklist were never clear.

What we do

What we do for car rental companies.

Everything included for car rental companies, and the result each part is there to produce.

  1. Route and service pages built for search

Pages for your main routes and services, such as airport transfers or tempo travellers for a hill station, with vehicle photos, rate structure and a WhatsApp booking button.

Result: Someone searching their exact route finds a page that answers it.

  2. Clear, all-in quote format

A WhatsApp quote template that states the per-kilometre rate, minimum kilometres, driver bata, tolls, parking, night charges and GST, with a photo of the vehicle.

Result: Customers know the full cost up front, and complaints about hidden charges fall.

  3. Round-the-clock quote reply routine

Quick replies and an on-call rota for evening and night enquiries, when many trips are planned.

Result: A late-night enquiry gets a quote before the customer tries another operator.

  4. Google Business Profile and directory listings

A complete Maps profile, JustDial listing and aggregator profiles, kept consistent, with fleet photos, licences and recent reviews answered.

Result: Travellers comparing operators see a licensed, active business.

  5. Corporate rate contract pack

A proposal with vehicle categories, rates, billing, GST invoicing, driver verification, GPS tracking and a named contact, ready for admin and travel desks.

Result: You can approach a company with the documents its admin team asks for.

  6. Customer record and repeat booking reminders

A record of every customer, trip type and date, with reminders before festivals, school holidays and the anniversary of last year's trip.

Result: Families who travelled with you once book directly the next time.

  7. Self-drive handover and deposit terms

A written handover checklist, timestamped photos at pickup and return, and deposit and damage terms sent on WhatsApp before the booking is confirmed.

Result: A scratch or a late return is settled against the photos, not in a one-star review.

How the result is measured

  • Bookings by source, direct and aggregator
  • Reply time on quote requests
  • Quote-to-booking conversion
  • Fleet utilisation by weekday
  • Active corporate accounts and their monthly trips
  • Repeat customers and reviews

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Worth a page and a campaign of their own

Outstation round trips and one-way drops · Airport pickup and drop · Self-drive cars by day, week or month · Tempo travellers for group tours and pilgrimages · Wedding and event car hire · Luxury car rental for occasions · Corporate rate contracts · Employee transport · Monthly car leasing for companies and expats · Local packages by hours and kilometres

Priority campaigns

Campaigns for what car rental companies most want to sell.

Each one planned around when your buyers decide, and measured against the baseline.

  • Summer holiday and hill station campaign

Route pages and ads for popular summer trips, launched in March and April with early booking reminders to past customers.

Result: Peak season trips are booked directly and early.

  • Wedding season car and tempo traveller campaign

Outreach to wedding planners and local ads timed to the wedding muhurtham months, with packages for guest transport and decorated cars.

Result: Several vehicles are booked together for one event.

  • Pilgrimage season campaign

Packages and content for pilgrimage routes popular in your region, such as Tirupati, Sabarimala or Dharmasthala, timed to their seasons.

Result: Group bookings arrive for trips families take every year.

  • Corporate airport transfer campaign

Outreach to admin and travel desks in nearby offices with an airport transfer rate card and a trial month.

Result: Weekday airport runs fill the gaps between leisure trips.

  • Returning customer campaign

A WhatsApp message to past customers before long weekends and festival holidays, with a direct booking link and a small direct-booking benefit.

Result: Repeat customers book with you directly instead of through an aggregator.

Beyond search

Where we reach buyers of car rental companies, beyond Google.

Search matters, but it is rarely the only way this industry's buyers find a supplier.

  • Hotels, homestays and resorts

We prepare a partnership proposal for hotels and homestays whose guests need airport transfers and sightseeing cars.

  • Wedding planners and event companies

We prepare a fleet and package sheet for planners who arrange guest transport for weddings and corporate events.

  • Corporate admin and travel desks

We build a list of offices and industrial units nearby and prepare the rate contract pack and a follow-up sequence.

  • Travel agents and tour operators

We prepare a partner rate sheet for travel agents who sell tours but do not own vehicles.

  • Hospitals and education institutions

We prepare an outreach note for hospitals, colleges and schools that need cars for visiting doctors, guests and staff.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions car rental companies ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we stop using aggregators?
No. They are useful for filling cars and reaching travellers who do not know you. The aim is to make every aggregator customer a direct customer for their next trip, through a good experience and a way to contact you.
What documents do corporate clients usually ask for?
Typically GST registration, vehicle permits and insurance, driver licences and background verification, and details of GPS tracking. Having these in one pack speeds up vendor approval.
How should we show the rate on our website?
As a structure rather than a single number: per-kilometre rate, minimum kilometres per day, driver bata and what is extra. Travellers trust a clear structure more than a low headline price.
Can we advertise self-drive cars if we have commercial permits?
Self-drive rental needs its own permission under the Rent a Cab scheme, separate from taxi permits, and the rules are set by each state's transport department. We advertise only what your permits cover and check the details with you first.
How do we reduce deposit disputes on self-drive rentals?
Put the deduction rules in writing before the keys change hands. Most disputes start because the customer never saw what a scratch or a late return costs. When one does reach Google, reply with the facts from the pickup photos, calmly and once.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
