Garment manufacturers · Content marketing

Explain a tech pack and the founders who cannot write one come to you.

Content marketing for a garment unit is the writing and video answering what a new brand or a sourcing team asks before ordering: minimums, fabric, sampling, lead time, costing. GullySales turns what your merchandisers already answer into published answers and reuses them in outreach.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For garment manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “First-time founders ask the same twelve questions”

What GSM means, what a tech pack needs, why sampling is charged, how long knitting takes. The unit that answers them in writing gets the enquiry and saves a merchandiser a week.

  • “A costing explained is a price objection prevented”

Buyers assume a quote is a margin decision. Showing how fabric, trims, knitting, dyeing, stitching and wastage build the price turns an argument into a conversation.

  • “Sourcing teams read about compliance, not about fashion”

A merchandiser wants your audit history, your subcontracting policy and how you handle a repeat order. Trend posts are written for the wrong reader entirely.

What we do

What we deliver for garment manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A guide for brands placing a first order

Tech packs, GSM, fabric lead times, sampling, minimums and what a costing includes, written for a founder who has never manufactured anything.

Result: Small brands arrive able to brief you properly.

  2. A costing explainer

How fabric, trims, knitting, dyeing, stitching, wastage and finishing build a price, with an illustrative breakdown and no promise about your own rates.

Result: Price conversations start from facts.

  3. Product notes from your own floor

What works in each fabric, where a style goes wrong, and what you now refuse to make, written from the sampling room.

Result: Buyers see judgement instead of a machine list.

  4. Compliance and process writing for sourcing teams

Your audit history, subcontracting policy, in-line checks and how repeat orders are handled, published in plain words.

Result: A merchandiser's checklist is answered before they send it.

  5. Everything reused in outreach and the profile

The same material placed in the capability document, the outbound emails and the follow-up after a fair.

Result: One piece of writing works in three places.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Questions buyers ask first

The questions a new brand or sourcing team asks before sending a tech pack, and the page that answers each.

What is your minimum order per style and colour?
A minimum order page: per style, per colour, the fabric minimum, and how a mixed size run is counted. Use real figures, since a founder who gets a firm answer keeps talking.
What do I send you to get a costing?
A tech pack checklist: sketch, measurement chart, size set, bill of materials, fabric, trims, wash and packing. List what you can cost from and what you cannot.
How is the price built up?
A costing explainer: fabric consumption, cut-make-trim, trims, wash, packing and margin, and how one extra pocket changes it. It stops the price argument before it starts.
How do samples work, and what do they cost?
A sampling page: proto, fit, size set and pre-production sample, who pays, and whether the cost adjusts against the order. A buyer comparing three factories wants this in one place.
Do you have audit and compliance papers?
A compliance page listing the audits and certificates you actually hold, your factory licence and your subcontracting policy. Name only what is current.
What can you make, and what can you not?
A capability sheet: knit or woven, categories, machines, and what is out of scope. A buyer who sees a limit trusts the rest.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the content marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm the plan

Topics and formats for the coming month are confirmed against the content strategy.

  2. 2

    Produce and review

Content is written or filmed, then reviewed by someone who knows your trade before it goes out.

  3. 3

    Publish and distribute

Finished content is published to the site and pushed through the channels your buyers actually use.

  4. 4

    Track enquiries

Enquiries are traced back to content where a direct line exists, and reported honestly where it does not.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

We report results and adjust the next topics based on what actually worked.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Will publishing our process help competitors?
Your competitors already know how a garment is made. What they cannot copy is your capacity, your machines and the way your team answers. Publishing costs you nothing and it is what buyers shortlist on.
Who writes this when the merchandisers are busy?
They talk and somebody else writes. Half an hour on why a sample failed, or on what changes a costing, gives an article and three posts. The merchandiser checks it before it goes out.
Should we name the brands we make for?
Only those that have agreed in writing, since most buyers expect confidentiality. Otherwise describe the category, the volume class and the season. A sourcing team will ask for references on a call anyway, so keep a brand willing to take one.
Is a factory video enough, or do we still need a written page?
You need both. A video shows the floor, but a sourcing team searching for a minimum order or a costing method finds a written page. Put the video inside the capability page, with a short list of what is shown.
How do we find buyers without going through a middleman?
Be findable and reach out directly. A capability profile and product pages let brands find you, and a researched list of brands that match your product lets you contact them first.
Is IndiaMART worth it for a garment unit?
It can be, if enquiries are screened quickly. Asking for the piece count and delivery month at first contact separates real buyers from price shoppers. Your merchandisers then spend their day on the right ones.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
