What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For computer and laptop rental

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Your office may not be where buyers are”

A rental firm can serve a business park across the city from its office. The profile should state the service area, and pages should name the localities you deliver to, so a buyer in that park does not assume you are too far away.

  • “Listings contradict each other”

One directory shows an old address, another an old phone line, and a third lists you as a computer repair shop. Search engines and buyers both lose trust when the same business appears three different ways.

  • “Reviews seldom say what was rented”

A review that says good service tells a new buyer little. Asking a customer's admin contact to mention the batch size, the delivery and the replacement experience gives the next buyer something to weigh, inside what the platform allows.

What we do

What we deliver for computer and laptop rental.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Google Business Profile set-up

Correct name, primary service choice, service area, services and photographs of your prepared stock room and tagging process.

Result: The profile describes the rental service and not repairs or sales.

  2. Listing consistency sweep

Name, address and contact details checked across directories and marketplaces, and corrected where they differ.

Result: One version of your details appears everywhere.

  3. Locality pages

Pages for areas and business parks you deliver to, written around delivery and support arrangements.

Result: Each page names the localities you serve and nothing you do not.

  4. A review request note

A short message your admin team sends to customers after a handover, asking for specific, honest feedback.

Result: Requests go to every customer rather than the ones remembered.

  5. Enquiry source tagging

Calls, direction requests and messages from the profile logged against their source.

Result: You can tell which local channel produced each enquiry.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Write down what is true

Each branch's real address, signboard name, phone, hours and owning Google account go into one record you sign off. Every later listing is copied from it.

  2. 2

    Search as your buyer does

We search each branch on a phone from points around it, in your buyers' words, and note who appears with what reviews and photos.

  3. 3

    Fix the profile first

Ownership first, then name, address, pin, phone, hours and business type. Google can suspend a profile with extra words in its name or an address that is not a real premises.

  4. 4

Build the branch pages and match the listings

Each real branch gets its own page, and the other listings are changed to agree with it. We write none for towns without a branch, because Google treats near-identical pages as doorway pages.

  5. 5

    Ask, reply and measure

We agree with each branch who asks for reviews, when and how. Results are set against the baseline recorded before work began, and the branch that is behind gets the next round.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Does a rental firm need a Google Business Profile?
Yes if you want to be found by name and by service area. It also gives buyers a place to check your address and read reviews before they call.
Should we show our stock room in photographs?
Yes, if it is tidy and the tagging is visible. A buyer worried about preparation sees the process. Leave out any customer device or data that appears in the frame.
Can we pay customers for reviews?
No. Ask honestly and accept what comes. Platforms check the current rules, and paid or filtered reviews also damage the trust you are trying to build.
Which photos belong on the profile?
Show the stock room, the shelves of prepared machines and the packing area, with no customer data visible. Buyers like to see that the vendor is real and organised. Check every picture for screens, labels and asset lists before you upload it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
