Generator rental · Local SEO

When the lights go, the nearest set with a number on the map gets the first call.

Local SEO for a generator rental firm is the effort to appear in the map results for people who need a set delivered to a place close to your yard. GullySales works on your profile, your service area and the reviews and photographs that sit beside the number.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For generator rental

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Distance to the yard decides the delivery”

A set that must cross the city in traffic arrives late and costs more in fuel and driver time. The map result matters most inside the area your trucks reach, so the service area should follow your roads.

  • “Photographs of real sets answer a nervous caller”

A buyer who has never hired a generator wants to see a canopy, a cable drum and a vehicle with your name on it. Stock images of a set in a field tell the caller nothing about who will turn up.

  • “The profile must say when the phone is answered”

Some firms answer at night and some do not. A profile that claims round the clock service and then rings out loses the caller twice, and the review that follows travels beside your name.

  • “Reviews are read for the delivery, not the machine”

Searchers look for a sentence about the set arriving when promised and the technician staying. A short request made at handover collects those lines while the hire is fresh.

What we do

What we deliver for generator rental.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A verified profile with sizes, areas and hours

Categories, kVA range, service areas and contact hours entered accurately, including night cover only where it is true.

Result: The profile states what you hire out and when the phone is answered.

  2. Photographs of your own fleet and vehicles

Sets, panels, cabling and delivery trucks photographed at the yard, labelled by size.

Result: A caller sees the equipment that will arrive.

  3. A review request at return

A short ask handed over with the return note, carrying the link on a phone or a card.

Result: Recent reviews come from customers whose hire has just ended.

  4. Replies to complaints about delay or fuel

A plain written reply to each review that mentions late delivery or a fuel dispute.

Result: A reader sees the complaint answered in public.

  5. A listing-versus-call comparison

Calls and direction requests from the profile, read against your enquiry sheet.

Result: You can see whether the profile brings hires or only rings.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

  • You deliver only to a long-term contract customer and take no walk-in hires.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Write down what is true

Each branch's real address, signboard name, phone, hours and owning Google account go into one record you sign off. Every later listing is copied from it.

  2. 2

    Search as your buyer does

We search each branch on a phone from points around it, in your buyers' words, and note who appears with what reviews and photos.

  3. 3

    Fix the profile first

Ownership first, then name, address, pin, phone, hours and business type. Google can suspend a profile with extra words in its name or an address that is not a real premises.

  4. 4

Build the branch pages and match the listings

Each real branch gets its own page, and the other listings are changed to agree with it. We write none for towns without a branch, because Google treats near-identical pages as doorway pages.

  5. 5

    Ask, reply and measure

We agree with each branch who asks for reviews, when and how. Results are set against the baseline recorded before work began, and the branch that is behind gets the next round.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

We have two yards. Do we need two profiles?
Yes, if each is a place where sets are kept and customers or staff are present. Each profile needs its own address, area and photographs, or the two compete against each other.
Will a good rating bring us calls from outside our area?
Not reliably. A caller outside your delivery range cannot be served, so we set the area to the roads you cover and let the profile say so.
Can we list the delivery area instead of the yard address?
Yes, if customers do not visit the yard. Hide the address and list the areas served, so the profile follows the platform's current rules. Delivery distance decides response time, so naming real areas stops calls from places a vehicle cannot reach in time.
How should we answer a complaint about a late delivery?
Reply in public with the facts, apologise for the delay and say what the yard now does differently. Hire reviews are read for delivery behaviour, and a calm, specific answer shows the next caller how problems are handled.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.
