Multi-branch retail chains · Content marketing

Write the answers a shopper wants before stepping into the nearest branch.

Content marketing for a retail chain is the guides, comparisons and notices that help a shopper decide what to buy and where. GullySales works on content that draws on what branch staff already tell customers across the counter.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For multi-branch retail chains

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The counter already knows what shoppers ask”

A salesperson explains the difference between two models, or how to choose a frame, or which sweet suits a gift, again and again. That answer, written down, helps the shopper who has not yet walked in.

  • “Buying guides keep a shopper inside your chain”

A buyer reading a plain guide to choosing a refrigerator from a manufacturer's site or a marketplace will buy there. The same guide on your site, ending at the nearest branch, keeps the shopper in your stores.

  • “Seasonal content has a short life if it is generic”

A list of wedding gifts or festive offers that ignores your branches reads like any other. Add the branch, the stock and the hours, and the page is useful this season and each season after.

  • “Branch news is content too”

A new counter, a renovated floor, a new service or a new store is news to the people around it. Told as a short post with photographs, it gives a local audience a reason to visit.

What we do

What we deliver for multi-branch retail chains.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A topic list from branch conversations

Questions that staff answer repeatedly at the counter, collected from a few stores and ranked by how many branches hear them.

Result: The content plan is built on real shopper questions.

  2. Buying guides for your main product groups

Plain-language pages that compare options, explain terms and end with the nearest branch.

Result: Each major product group has a guide that points to a store.

  3. Seasonal pages set by branch

Festival and wedding pages with each store's stock, offers and hours.

Result: A seasonal page names the stores that hold what it describes.

  4. Short branch news posts

Notices of new counters, services and openings, with photographs from the store.

Result: Each branch has news the neighbourhood can read.

  5. Wording checked against your own rules

Claims about medicines, purity, discounts and prices read by your team and adviser before publishing.

Result: Nothing goes live that your adviser has not seen.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Posts and pieces to plan

Pieces to write from what the counter is asked.

How to choose the right sofa size for a flat
A guide with a simple measuring list and photographs from your showroom, ending with the branches that hold floor models.
What to ask before buying a phone
A buying note naming the questions shoppers raise at your counter, with the models you stock and the branch that holds them.
Reading a jewellery bill
A piece explaining the lines on your bill in plain words, so a first-time buyer knows what to look for. Add no price or rate.
Choosing frames for your face shape
An optical guide from the staff's own advice, with photographs from the store. Say nothing about eyesight outcomes.
Festival gifting with bulk orders
A page for companies and families ordering many pieces, stating who at which branch takes the order.
What a new branch carries
A short news post for each opening listing sections, address and landmark.

Who it is for

This is written for these multi-branch retail chains.

  • Jewellery and gold retail chains
  • Pharmacy and medical store chains
  • Supermarket and grocery store chains
  • Mobile phone and electronics retail chains
  • Fashion, footwear and garment store chains
  • Furniture and home furnishing showroom chains
  • Optical and eyewear store chains
  • Bakery, sweet and food retail chains

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your staff cannot be asked what shoppers raise at the counter, so the guides would be generic and invent nothing real.
  • A branch has not finalised its range, so a guide pointing to its shelves would be wrong when the stock changes.

How it works

How the content marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Agree the plan

Topics and formats come from the content strategy and the buyer-question list. The volume goes into the written scope, agreed with you, not into a number quoted on a call.

  2. 2

    Brief and draft

Each piece starts from its one-page brief and a short conversation with your technical person, recorded if they allow it, so the draft uses their words.

  3. 3

    Check the facts

Your person marks the draft for accuracy and we correct it. Regulated subjects also go to your own adviser, because restrictions on claims apply to articles as much as to advertisements.

  4. 4

    Publish and distribute

The piece goes live on your site, then out through the channels where your buyers already are.

  5. 5

    Read the enquiries and adjust

Results are reported against the baseline recorded before work began. Topics that brought readers but no enquiries are changed or dropped. How often you are reported to is agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a blog for a chain of shops?
Not necessarily a blog. Guides, seasonal pages and branch news can sit in ordinary sections of the site. The point is useful pages that answer shopper questions, not the format.
How do we avoid giving advice that breaks advertising rules?
Describe products and services plainly and avoid health, purity or result claims. Rules differ by profession and state, so check with your own adviser, and keep the claims you make easy to verify.
Who writes content when our staff are busy?
The staff supply the questions and the facts, and the writing is done for them. A manager reads the draft for accuracy. That takes far less of their time than writing it alone.
Can a pharmacy chain publish health guides?
Rules differ by profession and state, so check wording with your own council or adviser first. Keep pieces to store services and how to order, and avoid advice on conditions or medicines. A guide that stays within what the shop does is the safer one.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
