Power backup solution providers · Lead generation

Bring in enquiries from sites that need a designed backup system, not a unit price.

Lead generation for a power backup provider means attracting hospitals, data rooms, plants and building owners who have a load to protect and an engineer to receive a visit. GullySales works on the pages, forms and routing that separate those sites from one-unit price requests.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

UPS and power backup dealers: show a real physical business scene illustrating Load survey and quotation. Record the load surveyed, the rating suggested and the items quoted, with each revision kept against the enquiry.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For power backup solution providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A site with a load is a different lead from a unit price request”

One enquiry names a hospital block, a server room or a press line and says how long the lights must stay on. Another asks for a rate on a model number. Both arrive as a call, so the form has to ask the site type before anyone is sent travelling.

  • “The outage is the moment of search”

Buyers look for a provider in the days after a cut, an audit remark or a handover date. They type the site and the problem, such as hospital generator installation or server room UPS, and the page they reach decides whether they call.

  • “The consultant is a lead source you never see in a form”

An MEP consultant who names your make or your firm in a drawing sends an enquiry weeks later that looks like it came from nowhere. Without a note of where each enquiry started, the introduction work gets no credit and gets dropped.

What we do

What we deliver for power backup solution providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Enquiry form that asks for the site

The form asks site type, connected load if known, how long the backup must run and who will meet the engineer, before it asks for a rate.

Result: Every enquiry in the inbox carries a site type and a named contact.

  2. Pages written for each site type

Separate landing pages for hospitals, data rooms, factories and residential complexes, each opening with what stops when the supply fails.

Result: A buyer from any of these sites lands on a page that describes their own outage.

  3. Search ads for outage searches

Google Ads groups for design-led searches, with home inverter and single-unit searches excluded.

Result: The search terms report shows site-type searches and no home inverter clicks.

  4. Enquiry sorting rules

A short rule set that marks an enquiry as design, replacement, rental or price-only, and says who calls back each type.

Result: The sales engineer opens a list already sorted by type.

  5. Source notes for every enquiry

A field that records whether the lead came from search, a consultant, a builder, a referral or a customer, filled at first contact.

Result: You can see which source produced each order, not just each call.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture

Capture the site before you capture the kVA.

A price request becomes a project only when the provider knows the building, the load and the cost of an outage. These fields carry that from the first call.

Site type and what must not stop
Hospital theatre, bank branch, data room or plant line. It tells the sales engineer how much outage the buyer can bear and which system to propose.
Connected load or equipment list
The buyer's estimate or a photograph of the panel board. It lets the engineer judge capacity before a visit rather than quoting a unit price.
Existing backup and its age
Generator or UPS make, battery age and last service. It separates a first installation from a replacement or AMC takeover.
Who specified it
Consultant, builder, facility head or owner. It shows whether the make is already named and who the proposal must satisfy.
Where the enquiry came from
Search, consultant referral, customer or site visit. It lets the source review show which route brings sites with real loads.

Who it is for

This is written for these power backup solution providers.

  • Diesel generator system integrators for commercial and industrial buildings
  • Online UPS and battery bank system providers for data rooms and offices
  • Power backup specialists for hospitals and diagnostic centres
  • Telecom and data centre power backup contractors
  • Silent and gas generator installers for residential complexes
  • Generator rental and temporary power providers
  • Battery bank maintenance and replacement companies
  • Changeover panel and synchronising panel assemblers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no engineer free to visit a site and read a load, so more enquiries would turn into unanswerable price requests.
  • You only supply and install standard units and do not design, which buyers asking for load studies will see at once.
  • You expect leads to arrive for sites outside the area your service engineers can reach.

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We ask how many enquiries your team can answer well, who answers after hours, and what a good enquiry looks like. Without this, the system fills a funnel nobody is watching.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We read your call log, WhatsApp chats, enquiry sheet and platform dashboards. The baseline is recorded: enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Search and maps are chosen for people ready to buy, ads for people who are not yet looking, and content and referrals for trust.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms, tags, the lead record and the first-reply message are built and tested end to end. We submit test enquiries ourselves before any media money is spent.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

Enquiries are traced to source and judged by what became orders, not by volume alone. Channels that fill the sheet with poor enquiries are cut back. How often you are reported to is agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we pay for enquiries that are only price requests?
Single-unit price requests are logged apart from design enquiries, so you can see them and decide how to handle them. The ads and forms are set up to attract the design-led kind first.
Can you promise a number of leads?
No. Enquiry volume depends on your region, your site types and whether your team picks up the phone. GullySales builds the pages, ads and sorting so the enquiries that do arrive are the right ones.
Should a price-only caller get a quote?
Give the buyer a short list of what decides the price, such as load, runtime and site type, and ask for them. A kVA figure alone is wrong for most sites. If the buyer supplies the details, the quote is worth sending.
How do consultant referrals show up in lead records?
They show as a name, not a form. Record the consultant's name against the site when it comes up in a call. Consultants specify before the buyer enquires, so this record is the only way to see which of them send work.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
