Government tender and B2G suppliers · Local SEO

Show the district office a supplier it can visit.

Local search optimisation for a government supplier means a verified Google Business Profile, a consistent address and listings that let a local department or a tender condition about local presence be checked. GullySales sets up the profile, the listings and the reviews you can honestly collect, without overstating what your office or godown is.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For government tender and B2G suppliers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A tender asks for a local office and the office is a postbox”

A department that checks the address on Maps finds a residential flat or a closed shop, and the bid is questioned.

  • “Different addresses on different papers”

The GST certificate, the GeM profile, the website and the letterhead each carry a slightly different address, and an officer matching them stops trusting the firm.

  • “The profile brings walk-ins who want something else”

A supplier of laboratory equipment gets calls from individuals wanting a single item, and the calls from stores departments are drowned.

What we do

What we deliver for government tender and B2G suppliers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A Business Profile set up for a supplier

Category, address, hours, services and photographs of the godown, showroom or office, with the name exactly as on your registration.

Result: An officer who checks the map finds a real place.

  2. One address across every paper and listing

A single written address and phone number used on the profile, website, portals and directories, with older variants corrected.

    Result: Nothing contradicts anything else.

  3. Directory and trade listings checked

Your listing on JustDial, IndiaMART and the industry directories your buyers use, checked for accuracy and removed where wrong.

Result: A buyer finds the same facts everywhere.

  4. A page for each district or city you supply

Written around the offices, hospitals and institutions you serve there and how delivery is handled.

Result: A local department sees that you serve it.

  5. Calls and directions read against orders

Profile calls and direction requests tracked and compared with bids and orders, against the baseline recorded before work starts.

Result: You see whether the profile helps.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What Google weighs here

What decides whether a government supplier shows up on a local search, and what to check.

Relevance: the category and the services listed
Choose the category that matches what you supply, such as office furniture supplier or medical equipment supplier, and list products by name. Do not add categories for items you do not stock.
Distance from the buyer
A district office searching near him sees the closest suppliers first. A supplier with a godown in the town benefits, and one who delivers from another city should say so in the description.
Prominence: reviews and how well known you are
Reviews from offices are rare. Ask walk-in customers and private buyers honestly. Never ask an officer to review you or offer anything for one.
Name, address and phone, the same everywhere
Match your GST certificate, GeM profile, website, JustDial and IndiaMART exactly. Fix the variants, since mismatches make a verification harder.
Where the buyers look: JustDial, IndiaMART and trade directories
Claim and correct those your department buyers use. Remove duplicates and old numbers. Pay for a listing only if you can record a real enquiry from it.
A visitable place
If you have no walk-in office, say it is service-area only and avoid showing a residential address if you do not want visitors. Check Google's current rules for your type of business.

Who it is for

This is written for these government tender and B2G suppliers.

  • Furniture, stationery and office equipment suppliers
  • Medical equipment, consumables and laboratory suppliers
  • Civil, electrical and maintenance contractors
  • IT hardware, software and managed service providers
  • Uniform, textile, food and canteen suppliers
  • Vehicle hire, security and housekeeping service firms
  • Printing, signage and publicity contractors
  • Manufacturers and authorised dealers supplying through GeM and state portals

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local seo work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we list a godown as an office?
Only if people can actually visit it at stated hours. Otherwise list it as a service-area business with the delivery area. Google's guidelines on addresses change, so read the current version before you create or edit the profile.
We work from a shared office. What do we do?
Use the address on your registrations, with the floor and unit. If other businesses share it, make sure your name is on the door or the directory board. A department checking the address should find your name.
We have branches in two districts. Do we need two profiles?
Only if each branch is a real place with staff and stock, and each shows on a Maps check. Otherwise keep one profile and describe the service area. A branch that exists only on paper will be flagged.
A rival has listed a fake branch near us. What now?
Report the listing through Google's own tool with the address evidence, and keep a copy. It takes time to be reviewed, so keep your own profile accurate and current meanwhile.
Can marketing help us win a tender that goes to the lowest bidder?
Not directly, because the lowest qualified rate wins. Marketing helps earlier: being known to the user department, shaping what the specification asks for and arriving with a complete file. It cannot change the rule.
Do you submit our bids for us?
No. Bids carry your signature, digital certificate and legal responsibility, so they must be filed by you or your authorised person. We organise the library and the follow-up, and your team checks every document.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
