People hand you their money only after they have checked who you are.
A shop owner needs money for stock before Diwali. His CA names one lender, his machinery dealer names another, and his own bank says no. That evening he searches both names, looks for the list of papers, and rings the number on the page. If it is busy, or the page shows no name, he rings the next one.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph
For banks, lenders, chit funds, brokers, advisers, distributors and payment firms that are chosen on trust and checked on a register. Selling here means being easy to verify, plain about charges and risk, and careful about what your regulator lets you say.
Most buyers in this sector arrive through someone they know: a CA, a parent, an agent, a builder, a colleague. Then they check you. They look at Google, the regulator's register, reviews and the app store. What they want from you is a straight answer about charges, fees and what can go wrong, given before they have to ask. Meanwhile your regulator limits what you may promise, so the page has to be persuasive without leaning on returns or approvals.
For example, a chit fund company in Mysuru has a new group opening. A salaried woman hears about it from a neighbour, finds the company's page, and wants to know how the auction works and what the foreman keeps. If the page says neither, she asks the neighbour again, and the neighbour mentions another company. The pace differs a good deal across the trades below, from a same-day gold loan to a family that takes months over a policy, and each page goes into one of them.
Last updated 15 Oct 2026. Rules for regulated trades differ by state and professional body, and they change. Each page describes them in general terms only.

Each trade here sells differently, so each has its own page.
Open the one that matches your business. Each lists the work we would do and why it fits that trade.
- BanksCustomers pick a branch on distance, a neighbour's word and a glance at reviews, and loan enquiries slip when the listing shows old hours, so we would correct every branch listing first.
- Chit fund companiesSubscribers join on an agent's word and drift away when nobody explains the auction or the foreman's commission, so we would write that explanation in plain words before anything else.
- Finance and insurance advisersSomeone sends a WhatsApp question about a personal loan or a health policy and goes with whoever answers first, so we would start with a reply that names a person and asks one useful question.
- Forex trading firmsProspects come off a webinar or a video channel doubting whether you are legitimate, and the enquiry slips when a claim outruns your registration, so we would fix the wording against your licence first.
- Gold loan and NBFC lendersHouseholds walk in with jewellery and want it quick and private, and cross the road if the appraisal is never explained, so we would begin with a plain note on weight, purity and rate.
- Insurance agents and advisersThe family decides together after a spouse and a parent sit in, and policies lapse at renewal because nobody called before the due date, so we would build the renewal list first.
- MSME and business finance providersThe owner hears your name from his CA or a machinery dealer and wants the paper list at once, then quits if asked for the same statement twice, so we would publish the checklist first.
- Mutual fund distributorsA colleague or CA introduces the investor, who checks your ARN and stops the SIP in the first market fall, so we would set a review date into the first meeting.
- Payment and fintech companiesDevelopers try the sandbox, finance heads read settlement terms and procurement sends a security questionnaire, and merchants slip before the first live payment, so we would map that path first.
- Stock brokersNew investors open a demat account because a human picks up the phone, then never trade, so the first fix is a call routine for the days after the account opens, with no tips in it.
- Wealth management firmsInvestors holding a retirement payout check your SEBI registration and fee basis before the first meeting, so we would put adviser names and registration numbers on the site first.
How buyers choose
What decides who wins in financial services.
Buyers verify before they call
They look for a registration or licence number, an ARN, a named adviser, a branch address that is still current and reviews from real customers. A page with no name and no number fails that check in seconds, and the call goes to the next firm.
An introducer sends most of the business
A CA, a relative, an agent, a builder or a machinery dealer sends the buyer. Tell each introducer what happened to their referral, give them something plain to forward, and record who sent every file. After a year you will know which introducers are worth your evenings.
The regulator sets the wording
RBI, SEBI, IRDAI and the exchanges each have their own advertising rules, and the rules change. Promises of returns, instant approval and lowest rate are what draw objections first. Show every post and ad to your compliance officer or adviser, and keep a copy of what was cleared.
Files are lost at the paperwork
The owner is asked for the same document twice. Nobody says what is read in a bank statement. The loan desk phone rings out, and an NRI messages after hours and hears nothing till morning. Publish the checklist, answer fast, and call while the file is open.
Fees and risk, said first, win the mandate
Buyers fear the charge that appears only at sanction, the fee explained only in the first meeting, the claim that is rejected, the fall nobody warned them about. Say these things in ordinary language before anyone asks. The firm that does so looks different from the rest.
Repeat business is the whole point
A borrower pledges elsewhere next season. A policy lapses. A deposit matures and goes to another bank. A declined owner is never called again. Keep a list of who is due, who was declined and why, and ring before the moment arrives.
