Health insurance agencies · Local SEO

Be the agency a family finds on the map when they want someone nearby who picks up.

Local SEO for a health insurance agency makes your office easy to find when someone searches for an insurance agent in their own town or locality. GullySales works on your Google Business Profile, local pages and reviews, within the rules your insurers and the regulator set for advertising.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Health insurance agents: show a real physical business scene illustrating Leads, referrals and follow-up. Every enquiry keeps its source, whether a referral, an employer contact or a walk-in. Renewal and callback dates are set. The overdue ones show first.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For health insurance agencies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “People want an agent they can walk in on”

A family dealing with a parent's admission wants an office nearby and a person to sit with. A map listing with a correct address, phone number and opening hours is the first thing they check before they call.

  • “The profile has to match the licence and the sign board”

A mismatch between the name on the profile, the website and the office board confuses both families and search engines. Agency name, address and number should read the same wherever they appear.

  • “Review requests need care in this trade”

A family that had a claim paid may be glad to write a review, but health details must stay out of public view. The request should ask about service and clarity, and never mention the illness or the amount.

  • “Nearby towns are searched too”

Families in a neighbouring town or village search with the nearest city's name. Pages for the places you serve, backed by true travel or phone coverage, help them reach you.

What we do

What we deliver for health insurance agencies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Google Business Profile setup and cleanup

Correct name, address, business type choice, hours, photos of the office and a link to the quote form.

Result: The profile shows the same details as your office board and website.

  2. Service-area pages

One page per locality you serve, with the real office or phone coverage and the situations you help with.

Result: A page for each town you serve that names it truthfully.

  3. A review request message

A short polite message for policyholders asking about service, with no mention of illness, claim amount or insurer decision.

Result: A message your team can send without editing out health details.

  4. Reply wording for reviews

Plain replies for praise and for complaints that avoid naming any health detail.

Result: A reply draft for each type of review, ready to adapt.

  5. Consistent listings elsewhere

The same name, address and number checked on directories where families look for agents.

Result: One set of details everywhere your agency is listed.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we show claim settlement stories on the profile?
No. A claim story involves a person's health and an insurer's decision. Use photos of the office, your services and reviews that policyholders choose to write. Advertising rules differ by profession and state, so check with your own adviser.
What if a customer leaves a bad review about a claim rejection?
Reply politely, say that the insurer decides claims, offer to help through the proper channel, and take the detail offline. Do not argue in public or describe the case.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
