Wealth management firms · Branding

Look like the firm that manages money carefully, not the one that chases it.

Branding for a wealth management firm is the name, the visual identity and the tone that tell an investor this firm is careful with money before a single meeting happens. GullySales builds a brand that reads as steady and regulated, because that is what an investor moving a retirement corpus is checking for.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What branding means

Branding is what a customer remembers about your business beyond the product, including your name, colours, tone of voice and what you are known for locally. GullySales sets or corrects this once and applies it consistently across your website, signage and adverts so the business looks like one company everywhere.

For wealth management firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Steady beats flashy”

An investor moving a retirement payout is checking for caution, not excitement. Colour, type and photography that read as considered rather than aggressive earn a longer look.

  • “The registration number belongs in the identity”

A SEBI registration number, clearly placed rather than buried in the footer, does more for trust than any tagline.

  • “One name across every touchpoint”

A firm known by the founder's name in conversation but a different brand on its website and filings confuses the investor doing a background check.

What we do

What we deliver for wealth management firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Identity kit for adviser-facing materials

Logo, colour and type rules set for the website, adviser profiles, proposal documents and business cards.

Result: The firm looks the same considered way at every touchpoint an investor checks.

  2. Registration number placed across every document

Your SEBI or AMFI registration shown consistently on the website, adviser profiles and printed proposals, not buried in a footer.

Result: An investor doing a background check finds it without hunting.

  3. Adviser credential format used everywhere

One layout for degree, certification and years of experience, used on the website, LinkedIn and the proposal template.

Result: An investor knows who is managing their money before the first meeting.

  4. Photography brief for advisers and the office

A shot list for adviser portraits and the meeting room that reads as considered rather than promotional stock photography.

Result: The first impression matches the caution an investor is looking for.

  5. One-name consistency check across filings and signage

A review of the name used in conversation against the website, filings, signage and social profiles, with a fix list.

Result: An investor cross-checking the firm's name does not hit a mismatch.

How the result is measured

  • Recognition in customer feedback
  • Consistency across channels
  • Repeat enquiries by name

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Positioning in one sentence

We are a registered adviser for this kind of client, and here is the registration and the way we are paid.

Who it is for: the household you advise
Describe the client without a figure promised, such as salaried families planning for a child's education or business owners with surplus cash. A firm for 'high net worth' individuals gives no reason to choose you.
What you do: advice, distribution or management
Say which, as your registration permits. An RIA gives advice for a fee, a distributor earns commission, a PMS manages money. A client must know which you are, because the duties and the way you are paid differ.
What a client gets that a bank relationship does not
State a process: a written plan, a review meeting at a pre-agreed gap, a single named adviser. Describe the work and never the returns. Keep the language plain enough for a family to read.
The proof you can show
Your registration number and the body that issued it, the advisers' qualifications as the register shows, and how fees are charged. Add the firm's years if documented. Mention no performance figure.
Words every wealth page uses
'Grow your wealth', 'maximise returns' and 'trusted partner' are claims a regulator may object to and a client discounts. Replace them with the planning you do and the documents a client receives.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the branding work runs

  1. 1

    Interview customers and team

We talk to real buyers, won and lost, and to people inside the business who deal with customers daily.

  2. 2

    Review the competitive field

We look at how the nearest competitors present themselves so the position is not accidentally identical.

  3. 3

    Draft the position

A first version of the positioning statement and messaging pillars is written and checked against what customers actually said.

  4. 4

    Test it against real conversations

The draft is tried out in a real sales call or two before it is finalised, since a position that does not survive a real conversation needs rework.

  5. 5

    Hand over the rollout brief

The final position, pillars and not-for list are documented for your team and any agency to apply consistently.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Does our branding need to look like a bank?
No. It needs to look regulated and considered. A boutique firm can look distinct and still read as careful with money.
How long does a rebrand take?
A focused identity update, covering the website, adviser profiles and documents investors see, typically takes six to eight weeks.
Can we use a client testimonial in our branding?
Be cautious. Rules on testimonials for advisers and distributors are set by the regulator and change, so check your own registration's current guidelines before using one. A reference a prospective client can ask for and speak to directly is often safer.
Should the firm be named after the founder?
A founder's name carries trust early, but the firm must continue when the founder retires. If the name is the founder's, plan for a team name and show other advisers' names with registration. Check that the name on every document matches the registration.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
