Tailoring shops · Local SEO

Make the shop the tailor a customer finds on the map from the next street.

Local SEO for a tailoring shop is how the shop appears when a customer searches for a tailor near me and sees the Maps result. GullySales sets up and keeps your Google Business Profile, your address details and your reviews in order.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For tailoring shops

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The customer is a few streets away”

A family choosing a tailor wants a shop they can reach on a scooter or on foot, with a fitting trial in between. The Maps result is the first filter, and a shop with a missing or wrong pin is not considered.

  • “Wrong hours lose the Sunday and festival visit”

Tailoring shops change timings before festivals, close on a day off and shut for an afternoon. A profile showing last year's hours sends a customer to a locked shutter, and that customer picks the next result.

  • “Photos on the profile decide the click”

A profile with a dark shopfront photo and nothing else looks like every other. Pictures of the counter, the cutting table and finished blouses tell the customer what the shop stitches before any call is made.

  • “Reviews mention the fit and the date”

A review that says the blouse fitted on the first trial and was ready on the promised day is the line a new customer reads. A review that only says good has little to offer. Asking a delivered customer at the counter is the natural time.

What we do

What we deliver for tailoring shops.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Business Profile set-up and clean-up

The correct name, address, pin, categories, hours and phone, with festival timings updated as they change.

Result: The profile shows what is true on the day.

  2. Photo set for the profile

Shopfront, counter, trial area and finished garments, photographed with the customer's yes where a person is shown.

Result: A visitor sees the work before calling.

  3. Review request message

A short WhatsApp message to send after delivery, asking for an honest review of the fit and the date.

Result: Reviews arrive from customers who were actually stitched for.

  4. Reply guide for reviews

Plain replies for praise and for a complaint about a late or tight garment.

Result: Every review has a polite answer in the shop's voice.

  5. Service list on the profile

The garments and alterations you stitch, listed in the customer's own words.

Result: The profile answers whether you stitch what is needed.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these tailoring shops.

  • Ladies' tailoring shops for blouses, kurtas and salwar suits
  • Boutiques with designer blouse and bridal stitching
  • Gents' tailors for shirts, trousers and formal wear
  • Suit, sherwani and wedding wear tailors
  • Uniform tailoring for schools, hospitals and offices
  • Children's clothing and school uniform stitching
  • Home-based tailors working on WhatsApp orders
  • Alteration-heavy shops near markets and railway stations

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

We are home-based. Should the address be public?
That is your decision. Google allows a profile that hides the address and shows a service area, and you can take customers by appointment. Share only the locality if you are not comfortable with more. Check the platform's current rules.
What do we do about an unfair review?
Reply politely with the facts and invite the customer to talk. Do not argue in public. If a review breaks the platform's rules, you can report it, and the platform decides.
Do we need a separate profile for each branch?
Each shop that a customer can walk into should have its own profile with its own address and phone. One profile covering two lanes confuses the pin and splits the reviews.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
