Chemical traders · Local SEO

Be the chemical supplier a plant finds when it searches near its own gate.

Local SEO for a chemical trader is how the godown and the delivery area appear when a buyer searches for a supplier in a named town or industrial estate. GullySales works on the Google Business Profile, the area pages and the details that must match your address wherever it is listed.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For chemical traders

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Delivery range is the real service area”

A plant wants a supplier whose vehicle can reach the gate before the next shift. A profile that names the estates and towns you deliver to, not only the godown's own address, matches the search a stores head makes when stock runs low.

  • “Drivers and collecting buyers need the gate, not the town”

Some buyers collect drums themselves, and a driver searching for the godown needs the lane, the gate and the working hours. A wrong map pin sends the vehicle to the wrong lane, and the buyer's patience goes with it.

  • “Different addresses in different directories confuse everyone”

JustDial, IndiaMART, the Google profile and the invoice may each show a slightly different address or phone number. A search engine reading three versions trusts none of them, and a buyer reading them rings the wrong office.

  • “Factory buyers seldom write reviews unprompted”

A purchase officer rarely posts about a supplier unless asked. A polite request after a clean delivery, sent to the person who received the goods, brings a short note naming the chemical and the reliability, which is what the next buyer wants to read.

What we do

What we deliver for chemical traders.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Google Business Profile set-up

A profile with the right business type, working hours, phone, products and the areas served, set up to the platform's current rules.

Result: The profile shows hours and delivery areas that match what the office tells callers.

  2. Address and phone consistency check

A comparison of your name, address and phone across Google, marketplaces, directories and the website, with each mismatch corrected.

Result: One address and one number appear everywhere the business is listed.

  3. Industrial area pages

A page for each estate or town you supply, listing the sectors there and the chemicals you hold for them, written only for areas your vehicles reach.

Result: Each area page names a place you have delivered to.

  4. Map pin and gate directions

A corrected pin, entry directions for drivers and photographs of the gate and lane.

Result: A driver following the map arrives at the right gate.

  5. A review request routine

A short message sent to the receiving contact after a delivery, with a link to the profile, and a rule for replying to what comes back.

Result: The profile gathers reviews from buyers who took delivery.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What a plant or a collecting driver types when looking for a supplier nearby.

chemical supplier near MIDC Taloja
An industrial area page naming the estates you deliver to, the lorry types you send and the gate or godown you collect from.
industrial solvent dealer open Saturday
If the godown opens on Saturdays, say so in the profile hours and on the page. A plant short of stock searches on the day it runs out.
acid trader godown near me
The profile should show the godown pin, not the owner's office, with directions a driver can follow to the loading gate.
chemical dealer Vapi GIDC
Write only for estates you serve. List the delivery range as places, not a radius, so a plant outside it does not ring.
lab chemicals supplier near college
A short note for laboratories on small lots, quotation requests and the document they must show to collect.

Who it is for

This is written for these chemical traders.

  • Traders in industrial solvents and thinners for paint and coating units
  • Acid and alkali traders supplying textile processors, tanneries and metal finishers
  • Dye and pigment traders serving processing houses and printing units
  • Water treatment and boiler chemical suppliers to hotels, hospitals and factories
  • Food-grade and pharma-grade chemical traders working with batch records
  • Polymer, resin and plastic raw material dealers
  • Laboratory and analytical chemical suppliers to colleges and testing labs
  • Importers who sell by the drum from port-side or bonded storage

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your godown is not open to visitors and you only deliver, so a map pin would send collecting drivers to the wrong gate.
  • Your phone number and address differ across the directories and nobody has time to correct them yet.
  • You serve a single plant on a standing arrangement, so no one nearby is searching for you.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Write down what is true

Each branch's real address, signboard name, phone, hours and owning Google account go into one record you sign off. Every later listing is copied from it.

  2. 2

    Search as your buyer does

We search each branch on a phone from points around it, in your buyers' words, and note who appears with what reviews and photos.

  3. 3

    Fix the profile first

Ownership first, then name, address, pin, phone, hours and business type. Google can suspend a profile with extra words in its name or an address that is not a real premises.

  4. 4

Build the branch pages and match the listings

Each real branch gets its own page, and the other listings are changed to agree with it. We write none for towns without a branch, because Google treats near-identical pages as doorway pages.

  5. 5

    Ask, reply and measure

We agree with each branch who asks for reviews, when and how. Results are set against the baseline recorded before work began, and the branch that is behind gets the next round.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a shop front for a Google profile?
A profile needs a real address where the business operates, and the platform's rules for godowns and service areas change, so check its current rules. We set the profile up in line with what Google asks for at the time.
Should we list every town we have ever delivered to?
List the areas your vehicles reach on a normal run. A long list of far towns reads as a claim you cannot keep and draws calls for deliveries you then decline. Add an area once you have delivered there.
Should the profile show the godown or the office address?
Show the address where a buyer or driver collects goods, and hide the address if visitors are not received there. The profile must match your licence and your delivery route, because a driver sent to the wrong gate loses an hour and the buyer blames the supplier.
Can we ask a factory to leave a review?
Ask the purchase officer after a delivery went smoothly, and send the profile link on WhatsApp. Many factories have a rule about endorsements, so accept a no. Never write or buy a review. Check the platform's current rules on asking.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
