Furniture wholesalers · WhatsApp marketing

Run the catalogue, the quote and the dispatch photos through the chat buyers already use.

WhatsApp marketing for a furniture wholesaler means using the chat app for catalogues, quotes and delivery updates with trade buyers who already message you. GullySales sets up the catalogue, the saved replies and the opt-in rules so the channel stays orderly.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For furniture wholesalers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Trade buyers already live on WhatsApp”

A retailer or designer in India asks for photographs and a rate on chat before anything else. A wholesaler who replies with a clear photo, size and finish wins attention against one who says to call the office.

  • “Photographs flood phones”

Without a system, every salesperson sends different images from a personal phone. The catalogue becomes inconsistent, and a buyer cannot tell which version is current. One maintained catalogue stops this.

  • “Broadcasts need permission”

Sending a pre-season catalogue to every number in a phone invites complaints. A list of buyers who agreed to receive it, with a way out, keeps the channel welcome. Check the platform's current rules on business messaging.

  • “Chat records get lost”

A rate agreed on chat is a commitment. If it stays in one phone, the next person cannot see it. The agreed rate and the pieces must be copied into the quote record the same day.

What we do

What we deliver for furniture wholesalers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp catalogue

Furniture types listed with photographs, sizes, finishes and stock status, kept current.

Result: A buyer can browse the range on the chat without a call.

  2. Saved replies

Standard replies for price enquiries, minimum order, delivery towns and sample requests.

Result: Every salesperson answers the common questions in the same way.

  3. Opt-in broadcast list

A list of trade buyers who agreed to receive range previews, grouped by buyer type.

Result: Each broadcast goes only to buyers who said yes.

  4. Quote on chat, record in CRM

A step for copying the agreed pieces and rate into the quote record.

Result: Every chat quote has a matching entry in the register.

  5. Dispatch photo messages

A message with loading and packing photos sent to the buyer when the consignment leaves.

Result: The buyer holds the photos from the day of dispatch.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Send the photo, the size and the stock status in one message.

Catalogue reply
Photograph, length, width, height, finish and ready or made-to-order, in the same order every time, so buyers can compare pieces.
Minimum order and delivery towns
A saved reply sent to every new trade enquiry, which stops the repeated question and the household requests.
Agreed rate and pieces
Copied to the quote record straight away, since a rate agreed on chat is a commitment others must see.
Pre-season range preview
Sent only to retailers and designers who agreed to receive it, grouped by buyer type.
Loading and packing photos
Sent when a consignment leaves, so the buyer holds proof of the condition before the transporter handles it.

Who it is for

This is written for these furniture wholesalers.

  • Furniture retailers in towns and city markets
  • Interior designers and design-build studios
  • Contractors fitting out flats, offices and shops
  • Hostel, PG and co-living operators furnishing rooms
  • Hotels, guest houses and homestays
  • Offices and co-working spaces buying in numbers
  • Schools and colleges that need classroom and lab furniture
  • Builders furnishing show flats and sample apartments

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your trade buyers have not agreed to receive broadcasts, and sending to every saved number would draw complaints
  • Salespeople use personal phones with no shared record, and the quotes would stay in those phones
  • You have not photographed the range consistently, so the catalogue would show mismatched images

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we use the business app or the API?
A small team can begin with the business app and its catalogue and saved replies. The API suits larger volumes and needs a provider. We recommend the smaller step until the volume demands more.
Can we message old customers who never asked for it?
Not without their agreement. Ask for consent, give an easy way to stop, and follow the platform's current rules. A smaller list that wants your messages is worth more.
Will WhatsApp replace phone calls?
No. A large order is still settled on a call. The chat carries photographs, rates and reminders, and the call carries the negotiation.
How should we handle prices on chat for different buyers?
Send the trade rate only to buyers you have tagged as retailers or designers, and send project quotes by buyer type. A reply goes wrong when a retailer's rate reaches an operator. Keep rate cards in the saved replies, labelled by tier.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
