Auto parts manufacturers · Email marketing

Send the new catalogue and price list to buyers who already ordered.

Email marketing for an auto parts manufacturer means sending catalogue updates, price revisions and new part launches to distributors and export buyers who have already ordered. It replaces a cold list bought or scraped from elsewhere. GullySales builds this list from your own enquiry and order records.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For auto parts manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A price list update is a reason to email, not a newsletter”

Distributors expect a clear notice before a price revision takes effect, and a well-timed email avoids disputes at reorder time.

  • “New part launches reach existing buyers first”

A distributor already stocking your brakes is the first to hear about a new suspension line, before any cold outreach.

  • “Export buyers need updates in their own time zone”

Scheduling the announcement for morning hours in the buyer's country improves the chance it is opened before a competitor's.

What we do

What we deliver for auto parts manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Price and catalogue update template

A standard email format for notifying distributors of a price revision or catalogue change, sent from your own dealer and export list.

Result: A distributor sees a price change before it applies, not after a dispute.

  2. New part launch announcement to existing buyers

An email announcing a new part line to dealers already stocking related parts, before any outreach to new buyers.

Result: An existing distributor hears about a new line before a competitor's dealer does.

  3. Export list segmented by region and time zone

Your enquiry and order records organised by country so an announcement can be scheduled for the buyer's own morning hours.

Result: An export buyer opens the update while it is still relevant to their day.

  4. Reorder reminder for lapsed dealer accounts

A message to a distributor who has not reordered in a while, built from your own order history rather than a bought list.

Result: A dealer who quietly stopped ordering gets a reason to come back.

  5. Open and reply report

A report of which email brought a reply or a reorder enquiry, checked against the baseline agreed at the start.

Result: You can see which update is worth sending again.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What an auto parts manufacturer needs in place before it mails distributors and OEM buyers.

A list from buyers who have ordered or asked
Start with distributors, OEM purchase contacts and export buyers who ordered, sent an enquiry or met you at a trade fair, each with the date. A scraped list of procurement managers is a risk to your domain.
Your own company domain, authenticated
Send from your company's domain, not a free webmail address. Ask whoever hosts your mail to set SPF and DKIM, and DMARC after that. Without them, quotations to a buyer's server may go straight to spam.
Segments for OEM, distributor and export buyers
An OEM buyer wants drawings, revision control and approval papers. A distributor wants a price list and stock. An export buyer wants packing details and shipping terms. One catalogue mail does not suit all three.
Part numbers and vehicle fitment in the text
Put the part number, the vehicle model it fits and the revision date in the body of the mail, with the catalogue at a link. A buyer should see what changed without opening a file.
A price revision that states what it applies to
Name the part families, the new rate, the date it starts and what happens to orders already placed. Send the same facts to every distributor so no one hears a different version.
A named sales contact for each region or account
Each mail ends with a person who owns that buyer or region. Replies about a part or a price go to that person, not to a shared inbox.

Who it is for

This is written for these auto parts manufacturers.

  • Component manufacturers supplying OEMs
  • Aftermarket spare parts manufacturers
  • Export-focused parts manufacturers
  • Tier 2 and Tier 3 component suppliers
  • Two-wheeler parts manufacturers
  • Commercial vehicle parts manufacturers
  • Casting and forging units supplying parts
  • Manufacturers with an in-house aftermarket brand

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no list of buyers who have ordered or asked for updates, and mailing bought or scraped addresses would harm the sending domain.
  • Your price list changes on the day an order is accepted, so an emailed notice would be contradicted at the next quote.

How it works

How the email marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your list

We review who is on the list, how they got there, what they agreed to, and how long since they last heard from you.

  2. 2

    Audit past sends

We read past campaign reports, your sending domain settings and any spam complaints to see what has and has not worked.

  3. 3

    Segment and plan

The list is split into groups and a sending calendar is agreed, with a rule for unsubscribes and quiet addresses.

  4. 4

    Write and set up

Emails are written, checked and scheduled in your email tool. Welcome and nurture emails are set to send on a trigger where that fits.

  5. 5

    Measure and adjust

We read clicks, replies, enquiries and complaints by segment, and change subject lines, timing and content to match.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need a large list to start?
No, your existing dealer and export buyer list is enough to begin, and it grows from real enquiries.
What should the first email cover?
A clear catalogue or certification update, since that gives an existing buyer a reason to reply or reorder.
Should the catalogue go as an attachment or a link?
Use a link to a catalogue page or a small PDF. Large attachments are blocked by many company servers and slow down a purchase desk's phone. Put the three or four items that changed in the mail itself, so the reader sees them straight away.
Can we add buyers who sent an enquiry on IndiaMART to the email list?
An enquiry gives you the right to reply to that enquiry. It is not agreement to a newsletter. Answer it, and ask in the reply whether they would like catalogue updates. Add them only if they say yes, and note the date.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
