Automotive service franchises · Lead generation

Find the garage owner or investor who can actually open a unit.

Lead generation for an automotive service franchise means filling two lists at once: candidates who might sign for a unit and vehicle owners who might book a service at an outlet. GullySales works on keeping those two lists apart, with a route and a message for each.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For automotive service franchises

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A candidate and a car owner are not the same lead”

A person searching for a garage franchise wants investment, machinery and training. A person searching for a service near home wants a price and a slot. One form and one ad for both fills the inbox with the wrong enquiries and wastes the sales team's calls.

  • “Your best candidates already own something”

The strongest candidate is a mechanic with a shed, a dealership manager with savings, or a family holding a plot on a main road. A questionnaire that asks about premises and capital first lets the team spend the call on someone who can start.

  • “The outlet's lead is a phone call, not a form”

A vehicle owner with a flat tyre or a warning light rings the nearest workshop. If the number on the listing goes unanswered, that lead is gone to the next name on the map. Calls and WhatsApp messages need counting as leads too.

  • “Portals send volume and little context”

Franchise portals pass on a name and a city. Without a first message that states the format honestly, half the conversation is spent explaining what a brand does not offer, and the candidate leaves with a poor impression.

What we do

What we deliver for automotive service franchises.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Candidate enquiry page and questionnaire

A page that states the format, the space needed and what the brand supplies, followed by short questions on city, premises and capital.

Result: Each enquiry arrives with the answers the sales team asks on the first call.

  2. Separate customer booking route per outlet

A booking button, a WhatsApp number and a call line for each outlet, kept apart from the franchise enquiry form.

Result: Candidate enquiries and service bookings land in different places.

  3. Source tags on every enquiry

Each enquiry is marked with the ad, portal, search or referral it came from, along with the city.

Result: You can see which source produced a signed unit and which only produced forms.

  4. Paid search and Meta campaigns for each buyer

Franchise-intent searches for candidates and local searches for vehicle owners, each with its own budget and landing page.

Result: One campaign cannot spend the other campaign's money.

  5. A missed-call capture for every outlet

A routine that logs unanswered calls and sends a WhatsApp message back to the caller.

Result: Missed calls appear as leads in a list, not as silence.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

A franchise enquiry and a customer enquiry each leave different details to record.

Candidate's current work or workshop
Asked on the enquiry form. It separates a mechanic with a garage from a salaried investor who has never run a bay.
City and site in hand
Asked in the form, since a candidate with a shop or plot is further along than one with only an interest.
Capital the candidate can commit
Asked as a range on the call by the franchise team. It decides whether the conversation is worth a visit.
Vehicle make, model and fault
Captured by the outlet on a customer call. It lets the workshop quote correctly and book the right bay.
Source tag on both enquiries
Set automatically from the page or portal. It shows whether a candidate came from search, a portal, a referral or an existing partner.

Who it is for

This is written for these automotive service franchises.

  • Multi-brand car service workshop franchises
  • Two-wheeler service and repair franchise chains
  • Car care and detailing studio franchises
  • Car wash and doorstep wash franchise brands
  • Tyre, alignment and battery outlet franchises
  • Quick-lube and express service franchise formats
  • EV service and conversion franchise start-ups
  • Denting, painting and collision repair franchises

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The brand has no franchise terms sheet or fee structure ready to send, so candidates would be sent a conversation with nothing behind it.
  • Outlets cannot answer a phone call from a car owner within the working day, so more customer enquiries would be lost at the bay.
  • You want a stated number of franchise enquiries, which no one can promise.

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We ask how many enquiries your team can answer well, who answers after hours, and what a good enquiry looks like. Without this, the system fills a funnel nobody is watching.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We read your call log, WhatsApp chats, enquiry sheet and platform dashboards. The baseline is recorded: enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Search and maps are chosen for people ready to buy, ads for people who are not yet looking, and content and referrals for trust.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms, tags, the lead record and the first-reply message are built and tested end to end. We submit test enquiries ourselves before any media money is spent.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

Enquiries are traced to source and judged by what became orders, not by volume alone. Channels that fill the sheet with poor enquiries are cut back. How often you are reported to is agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should franchise candidates and customers use the same website?
They can share a domain, but give them separate pages, forms and follow-up. Candidates need the unit format and investment range you approve. Customers need an outlet, a price band and a booking button.
Which franchise portals are worth using?
Test one or two that your candidates already use and compare signed units, not only enquiries. We read the source tags with you and drop a portal that sends names but no meetings.
Can you promise a number of franchise enquiries?
No. Enquiries depend on the format, the investment you ask and the towns you target. We build the route, measure each source, and stop spending where candidates do not reach a meeting.
Should the form ask candidates how much they can invest?
Yes, as a range or a choice, because it saves a call that cannot lead to a unit. The brand can then spend its time on candidates who match the terms. Keep the question respectful, and check the current rules on how a franchise offer may be described.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
