Automotive service franchises · Local SEO
Make each outlet the first workshop that shows on the map near its own bays.
Local SEO for an automotive service franchise is the work of making every outlet appear in Google Maps for searches made within a few kilometres of it. GullySales works on one correct listing per outlet, held to a single brand standard.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means
Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For automotive service franchises
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“The map result is chosen by distance first”
A vehicle owner with a puncture searches from the roadside. Google shows the workshops closest to that point. An outlet two roads away with a complete listing beats a better workshop that has no hours or photographs on its profile.
“Each outlet needs a listing that matches the brand and itself”
Hours, phone number, services and price range should follow the brand standard, but the photographs, address and area belong to the outlet. A copy-pasted listing for every town gets flagged and loses the map result.
“Reviews decide the tap between three names”
In the map pack a driver sees three outlets and three ratings. An outlet with a handful of old reviews loses to a competitor with recent ones, even when the work is the same. The review ask has to happen at handover.
“Franchisees change phone numbers and nobody updates the listing”
A new manager takes over, the number changes, and the listing still shows the old one. Calls go to a dead line for weeks. One person at the brand needs to own the listing details for every outlet.
What we do
What we deliver for automotive service franchises.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
A verified listing for every outlet
Each outlet profile claimed and verified, with services listed by name, such as wheel alignment, battery replacement or AC service.
Result: Every outlet has its own listing, and none are shared or duplicated.
A brand listing standard
A one-page rule for names, hours, price range wording, photographs and posts, which franchisees follow.
Result: All outlets describe themselves in the same terms.
Photographs of the real bays
Pictures of the entrance, bay, equipment and the signboard, taken at each outlet, with no customers' number plates visible.
Result: Each profile shows its own workshop, not a stock image.
A review ask at vehicle handover
A card or WhatsApp message at billing carrying the review link, plus a written reply to every review.
Result: New reviews come from customers who actually visited.
Call and direction counts by outlet
The listing's own numbers for calls, direction requests and website taps, set beside the baseline recorded at the start.
Result: The brand can see which outlet's listing brings in action and which needs work.
How the result is measured
- Map pack ranking
- Local search visibility
- Enquiries by locality
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Searches your buyers type
Map searches near a bay decide which workshop a driver calls.
- Car service centre near me
- The outlet listing with real bay photographs, correct hours and a call button.
- Car mechanic open now
- Hours set per outlet, including the Sunday and holiday hours, since a wrong timing loses the driver.
- Tyre and wheel alignment near me
- A listing service and photograph set for the alignment machine, if that outlet has one.
- Bike service centre near me
- A separate listing entry only for outlets that service two-wheelers, so a car-only bay is not shown.
- Car service in your locality
- A locality page naming the road and landmark, linked from the outlet listing.
Who it is for
This is written for these automotive service franchises.
- Multi-brand car service workshop franchises
- Two-wheeler service and repair franchise chains
- Car care and detailing studio franchises
- Car wash and doorstep wash franchise brands
- Tyre, alignment and battery outlet franchises
- Quick-lube and express service franchise formats
- EV service and conversion franchise start-ups
- Denting, painting and collision repair franchises
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- Outlets are not yet open with a street address, so listings would point to a place the customer cannot visit.
- Franchisees will not agree to keep listing details to the brand standard, so every outlet would drift.
- Two outlets share one phone number, which must be settled before listings can be verified.
How it works
How the local SEO work runs
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
Write down what is true
Each branch's real address, signboard name, phone, hours and owning Google account go into one record you sign off. Every later listing is copied from it.
- 2
Search as your buyer does
We search each branch on a phone from points around it, in your buyers' words, and note who appears with what reviews and photos.
- 3
Fix the profile first
Ownership first, then name, address, pin, phone, hours and business type. Google can suspend a profile with extra words in its name or an address that is not a real premises.
- 4
Build the branch pages and match the listings
Each real branch gets its own page, and the other listings are changed to agree with it. We write none for towns without a branch, because Google treats near-identical pages as doorway pages.
- 5
Ask, reply and measure
We agree with each branch who asks for reviews, when and how. Results are set against the baseline recorded before work began, and the branch that is behind gets the next round.
Where this fits
Three pieces of sales work, in this order.
This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.
Step 1
Sales audit
Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.
Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.
Step 2 · you are here
Sales process design
One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.
Start here if every salesperson sells differently.
Step 3
Sales management
A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.
Start here if the team has targets and no routine.
