Celebrity management agencies · WhatsApp marketing

Handle brand and talent conversations on WhatsApp as a record, not a scroll.

WhatsApp marketing for a celebrity management agency means using the chat app where brand managers, producers and families already talk, with a clear owner, careful wording and a log. GullySales works on the reply routine, the shareable pitch message and the rules for what never goes on chat.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For celebrity management agencies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The first brief often arrives as a message”

A planner may send a few lines and a deadline on WhatsApp before any email. A reply that is slow or scattered across phones loses the brief.

  • “A shared phone is not a system”

If the number belongs to one person, the history leaves with them. A business number with a named owner and a log keeps the conversation with the agency.

  • “A forwarded profile has to read well alone”

The pitch message is forwarded by the planner to their own team. It must make sense without the sender, with the talent, the fit and the next step clear.

  • “Some detail does not belong on chat”

Fees, contract terms and a talent's private contact stay off group chats. The rule is written down so nobody has to decide it in the moment.

What we do

What we deliver for celebrity management agencies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Business number routine

A decision on which number the agency uses, who answers it and how a chat becomes a logged brief.

Result: A named owner and a rule for logging each brief.

  2. Forwardable pitch message

A short message with the talent, the fit and the next step that reads well when passed on.

Result: A message template per talent.

  3. Reply set

Ready replies for availability asks, requests for a deck and polite holds.

Result: A set of replies the team edits and sends.

  4. Rules for chat

A one-page note on what stays off WhatsApp and where it goes instead.

Result: A page the whole team has read.

  5. Talent family channel

A separate, plain route for parents and young talent to ask questions of a named person.

Result: One number and one contact for talent enquiries.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

The messages a management agency sends on WhatsApp, and the boundaries that go with them.

First reply to a brief received on chat
Thank the sender, restate the product and audience and say who will take it up. It turns a casual message into the start of a record.
Forwardable profile of a talent
A short message with languages, earlier brand work and the way to contact the agency, readable when forwarded to a marketing head.
Saved replies for common brand questions
Availability, exclusivity and how a booking proceeds. They keep every team member answering in the same words.
Rule for what stays off chat
Fees, contracts and private details move to a call or a document. Say so politely when a brand asks for them on chat.
Family channel for young talent
A separate channel for the parent or guardian with schedules and approvals, kept apart from brand conversations.

Who it is for

This is written for these celebrity management agencies.

  • Film and television actor management firms
  • Cricket and sports personality management agencies
  • Singer, musician and DJ management companies
  • Social media creator and influencer managers who now represent celebrities
  • Anchor, comedian and speaker booking agencies
  • Regional-language star management firms
  • Corporate and event appearance agents
  • Endorsement and licensing consultants working with brands

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Team members use personal phones and will not move chats, so a business number would not hold the record
  • You have not agreed with your talent what may be said on chat, so a template library would break their confidence

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we message brand managers in bulk?
Bulk messages to people who have not asked for them risk the number and the relationship. GullySales drafts personal notes and tells you to check the platform's current rules.
Should talent be in the same group as the brand?
Only when the booking team agrees the purpose and the members. A group with a brand, an agency and the talent invites loose talk, so handle each matter one to one.
How do we keep a record of chats?
By logging the brief, the asker and the next step in the CRM or sheet the same day. The chat stays as a reference, and the log is the record.
Can a brand manager and a talent be in one group?
Avoid it until a contract is signed. A group shows the talent's number to the brand and invites direct side deals the agency never sees. Keep each side in its own conversation, and join them only for a confirmed shoot with the agency present.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
