Education franchise brands · WhatsApp marketing

Parents ask about batches on WhatsApp, so replies, broadcasts and groups need rules.

WhatsApp marketing for an education franchise brand covers how centres reply to parents, how batch updates are sent and how candidate owners are kept informed. GullySales works on a business number setup, saved replies and a consent-based broadcast routine for each centre.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For education franchise brands

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The centre's personal phone is the weak point”

A teacher's own number carries parent enquiries, and the history leaves when the teacher does. A business number with saved replies, owned by the centre, keeps conversations with the brand.

  • “Parent groups need a clear purpose”

A batch group for homework reminders is useful. A group that turns into a place for fee complaints and forwards is not. Set a rule on who can post and what the group is for before it is created.

  • “Broadcasts need consent”

A parent should agree to receive messages about new batches and holiday programmes. Check the platform's current rules on business messaging, and give every parent a simple way to stop.

  • “Candidate owners use WhatsApp too”

A prospective owner may prefer a message with a short note and a link over a long email. A brand can share the centre model, a video from a running centre and a call booking link, in a conversation that stays on record.

What we do

What we deliver for education franchise brands.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Business number setup

A business profile for each centre, with address, hours, subject list and a greeting.

Result: A parent writing in sees the centre's details at once.

  2. Saved replies

Short answers for fees, timings, trial classes and teachers, ready to send.

Result: A saved reply list on every centre phone.

  3. Group rules

A one-page rule for parent groups: purpose, who posts and how to leave.

Result: A rule that every group admin has read.

  4. Opt-in and opt-out routine

A way to record a parent's agreement to receive updates and to remove them.

Result: A list of parents who have agreed.

  5. Candidate owner message set

A short set of messages for each stage of the franchise enquiry, with attachments approved by head office.

    Result: Candidates receive consistent information.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

The messages a centre and head office send on WhatsApp, and what each needs.

Batch timing query
A saved reply with the batches, days and age group. Parents ask this first and the reply should not need the teacher.
Trial class confirmation
Date, time, address and what the child should bring. Sent the day before, it cuts the missed trial.
Fee information
A line inviting the parent to a short call, or the current fee table if head office has approved it. A wrong fee ends the enquiry.
Parent group notice
Holiday dates and class changes sent to a group with a stated purpose. Keep it to centre notices and agreed topics.
Candidate owner introduction
A message from head office with a brochure and a call booking link. Franchise seekers use WhatsApp too, so keep it separate from parent replies.

Who it is for

This is written for these education franchise brands.

  • Tuition and school coaching franchise brands
  • Competitive exam coaching franchise brands
  • Abacus, mental maths and handwriting programme brands
  • Coding, robotics and STEM learning centre brands
  • Spoken English and language institute franchises
  • Skill and vocational training centre brands
  • Music, dance and art class franchises
  • Test preparation and study abroad coaching brands

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Teachers use their own numbers for everything, so a business line would sit empty while parents message the teacher
  • You have collected parent numbers without asking, so a notice to them would draw complaints
  • No one at the centre can reply the same day, so an open chat would show parents a brand that does not answer

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send bulk messages to parents?
Only to people who have agreed, and within the platform's current rules. Send a useful update, such as a new batch or a holiday programme, and give an easy way to stop messages.
Should teachers use their own numbers?
It is better for the centre to hold a business number so that history stays. If teachers speak to parents directly, agree what they may say, especially about fees and results.
Do we need an automated assistant?
A simple greeting and a menu can help during busy periods, but a parent asking about a child wants a person. Use automation for the first acknowledgement and hand over to a person.
Can a parent group include other parents' numbers?
Avoid it. A group shows every member's number to the rest, which can breach privacy. Use a broadcast list that sends to each parent individually, only to those who agreed, and check the platform's current rules. Keep fee talk out of group chats.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.
