Farm consulting companies · Search engine optimisation

Be the page a worried landowner finds when the borewell turns salty.

SEO for a farm consulting company is the work of making your pages the answer when a landowner types a crop, soil or water problem into a search box. GullySales writes pages around those problems, fixes how the site reads to Google, and checks what the search tools report about your pages.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For farm consulting companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Searches name a problem, not a service”

Nobody types farm consulting services. They type a failing coconut crop, saline borewell water or what to plant on a bare plot. A services list matches none of those, while a page titled for the problem meets the search as it is typed.

  • “Local names carry the search”

A buyer near Doddaballapur or Hosur searches with the taluk and the crop together. Soil, rainfall and water differ by region, so a page that speaks of the actual area reads as local experience. A page about farming in general reads as copied.

  • “Advice pages need a visible author”

Farm advice from an unnamed writer gives a worried owner no reason to trust it. A named consultant, the farms behind the advice and a plain note on where the advice stops tell both the reader and the search engine that a practitioner wrote it.

  • “Old pages quietly mislead”

Scheme conditions and bank requirements change, and a loan page that still describes last year's rules sends the wrong papers to the wrong farmer. Pages that quote rules need a date, a pointer to the current source and a person who owns the update.

What we do

What we deliver for farm consulting companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A map of the searches you can answer

A list of the problems landowners type, grouped by crop, water, soil, orchard, organic and loan report, matched to a page each.

Result: You can see which problems have a page and which do not.

  2. Problem pages written in the reader's words

Each page opens with the situation, explains what you would check on a visit and ends with the paid-visit step.

Result: Each page can be read start to finish by a first-time owner.

  3. Titles, headings and page structure

Page titles, headings and internal links set so each page says what it covers and points to the next step.

Result: The site structure can be inspected page by page.

  4. A rule-dependent page register

A list of pages that quote scheme or bank conditions, each with the source to check and the person who updates it.

Result: Nothing that depends on a rule sits undated on the site.

  5. Search Console reading

The queries your pages appear for, read against the pages you intended, with changes noted when a page answers the wrong question.

Result: You know which queries bring people and which pages miss.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

The problems landowners type into search, and the page you write for each.

borewell water turned salty what to do
A page that explains how a consultant tests the water, what the owner should collect and when to book a visit. It is written for someone worried about a crop that is standing.
how to start a farm on a small plot
A planning page for first-time owners that lists the decisions in order: water, access, soil, crop and labour. It leads to a paid site visit.
agri project report for bank loan
A page naming what a bank officer asks for, what the owner must bring and what you prepare. It brings in applicants who already have a deadline.
organic farming transition advisor
A page for growers moving off chemical inputs, naming what needs checking before certification. Make no claim on yield or price.
weekend farm management services near Bengaluru
A city-tied page for absent owners that sets out what the management firm does on site. Use the cities you actually serve.
mango orchard planning consultant
A crop page for an orchard buyer, covering layout, water and the years before fruiting. Name the crops you have actually advised on.

Who it is for

This is written for these farm consulting companies.

  • Crop and agronomy advisers working with commercial growers
  • Consultants for weekend farms and farmhouse plantations
  • Horticulture and orchard planning consultants
  • Organic and natural farming transition advisers
  • Agri project report and bank loan consultants
  • Farm management firms who run a farm for an absent owner
  • Water, soil and irrigation planning consultants
  • Agribusiness advisers for processing units and FPOs

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no one to write plain pages from real field visits, and copy from a template would read like every other adviser's.
  • You expect search to fill your calendar for a season. Nobody can promise a position, and landowners decide slowly.
  • Your advice pages carry no date or author, which makes them hard to trust when rules and prices on farm schemes move.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At an interval agreed in writing we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do we rank for farm consulting?
Write the page that answers the exact problem, name the region and the crop, and show the farms behind the advice. GullySales does not promise a ranking, because search results are not ours to set.
Do we need a blog?
You need pages that answer the questions owners ask, whether you call them a blog or not. Ten careful pages from real farm decisions serve better than a stream of general posts.
Is Marathi, Kannada or Telugu content worth adding?
If your clients decide in that language, yes. Farm owners and their families may search in the regional language, so a page in that language can reach people an English page does not.
How should we handle scheme and subsidy rules on pages?
Name the scheme, say when you last checked it, and tell the reader to confirm with the issuing office. Schemes change by state and year. A dated page with a source is useful; an old page that states a rule as current misleads the reader and reflects on you.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
