What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For furniture rental

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The query carries two names”

Searchers pair an item with a place: wardrobe on rent in Kondapur, dining table rental in Baner. A single page called Furniture on rent answers neither, so each pairing you serve needs its own useful page.

  • “Photographs decide the click”

Two results offer similar plans. The one showing a delivered room with a bed, a mattress and the plan name above it gets the tap, because the searcher can judge condition before anything else.

  • “Terms are searched too”

People type is the rental deposit refundable and furniture on rent for eleven months. If your deposit and plan length live only in a PDF or a chat reply, a page that states them plainly takes that traffic.

  • “Thin copy repeated across areas”

Fifty locality pages with the same paragraph and a changed place name read as filler. Each page needs its own delivery notes, nearby landmarks you serve and photographs from that area.

What we do

What we deliver for furniture rental.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Item and locality map

A sheet pairing each item with each area you deliver to, marking which pairs get a page and which sit as a section on a larger page.

Result: You hold a list of pages planned, with the reason for each.

  2. Page template with real content slots

A layout with a plan table, deposit summary, delivery area, room photographs and questions, so each page has something specific to say.

Result: Two locality pages differ in more than the place name.

  3. Terms pages written for searchers

Plain pages on deposit, plan length, early closure, swaps and pickup, each titled with the question a customer types.

Result: A searcher asking about deposit lands on a page that answers it.

  4. Technical check

A review of titles, headings, page speed on phones and how pages link to each other.

Result: A short list of faults found, each marked fixed or open.

  5. Search tracking set up

Search Console and analytics connected so you can read queries, pages and enquiries together.

Result: You see which queries bring visits and which pages those visits land on.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You deliver to only a few localities, so many area pages would promise service you cannot give.
  • Your plans and deposit terms change from customer to customer, so a terms page would be out of date as soon as it was published.
  • Nobody photographs deliveries, so locality pages would all carry the same stock pictures.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At an interval agreed in writing we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How many locality pages should we build?
Build one for each area where you can deliver a plan and answer the phone with confidence. A page for a place you do not serve wastes the searcher's time and weakens your name for places you do.
Do we need a blog for SEO?
Not first. Item, locality and terms pages match what buyers type. Articles help later on questions such as what to buy and what to rent when moving, once the core pages are in place.
Can we show prices on the page?
Yes, if you can keep them current. A plan table with the rent for each plan and the deposit answers the question searchers type, and a page that hides the figure sends them to a rival who shows it. Put a date on the table and revise it when plans change.
Which localities deserve their own page?
Those you can deliver to and have a delivery photograph from. A page for an area you cannot serve invites an enquiry you must refuse, and a page with no local detail reads as filler. Start with the areas your vans reach without trouble.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
