Goat farms · WhatsApp marketing

Answer every goat enquiry on WhatsApp with a video, a stock list and a question.

WhatsApp marketing for a goat farm is the planned use of chats, status posts, a Business profile and broadcast lists to sell stock. GullySales works on the replies, the catalogue and the lists, and on keeping the farm within WhatsApp's current rules.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For goat farms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The first reply decides”

A buyer who writes to three farms stays with the one that sends a herd video and asks breed, number and town in the same reply. A bare rate or a late answer sends the buyer on to the next number.

  • “A personal number causes business trouble”

A farm run on the owner's personal chats mixes family messages with buyer enquiries. Nothing is saved when the phone is lost, and nobody else can answer. A Business profile with labels and saved replies separates the two.

  • “Broadcasts need permission”

Sending festival offers to everyone in the phone book annoys people and can get a number restricted. Add a buyer to a list only after they agree, and make leaving easy. Check the platform's current rules before each drive.

  • “Groups get noisy”

A large group of traders and breeders fills with rate arguments and forwarded jokes. A broadcast list, or a community where only the farm posts, keeps stock news clean and keeps buyers from comparing prices in public.

What we do

What we deliver for goat farms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Business profile setup

Farm name, location pin, a line that visits are by booking, a catalogue of breeds and labels for each buyer type.

Result: A profile a buyer can verify before writing.

  2. Saved replies

Ready answers for breeding, meat, festival and kitchen enquiries, each asking for breed, number and town.

Result: Every family member answers in the same way.

  3. A herd video library

Short videos for each breed, stored where the family can send them straight from the phone.

Result: A video exists for every breed the farm sells.

  4. Opt-in broadcast lists

Lists for festival buyers, breeders and kitchens, with a written way to join and to leave.

Result: Each list holds only people who agreed to be on it.

  5. A pre-booking chat flow

A short chat that records quantity, weight range and delivery town for festival animals.

Result: Every pre-booking lands in the buyer sheet.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Answer each goat enquiry with the same short set of messages.

Video of the herd or the animal
A short clip sent on request, labelled with breed and age, so the buyer judges before travelling.
Stock list with ages and breeds
A plain message of what is available now, updated when animals are sold, not a catalogue that goes stale.
Questions to the buyer
Purpose, number and town, sent as one message so the next reply is useful.
Visit booking details
A date, a time and directions sent after the buyer confirms, with the family member who will receive them.
Collection confirmation
A message the day before, stating the animals reserved, the advance noted and the vehicle expected.

Who it is for

This is written for these goat farms.

  • Breeding farms selling bucks, does and kids to new units
  • Meat goat farms selling live animals to traders and families
  • Farms specialising in Sirohi, Osmanabadi, Jamunapari or Black Bengal
  • Boer and crossbred farms selling to commercial units
  • Goat milk and dairy goat farms
  • Farms that also run training and farm visit days
  • Farmer producer groups pooling goats from many small owners
  • Integrated farms that process and sell dressed meat

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • One person answers every chat from a personal phone, and no one can cover when they are busy.
  • You plan to broadcast the festival list to every number in the phone.
  • The stock is fully booked, and new chats would only bring disappointment.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we use the WhatsApp Business app or the API?
A small farm does well with the Business app, saved replies and labels. The API with automation suits a farm with a large buyer list and staff to answer. We start simple and check the platform's current rules before any automation.
Can we send broadcasts to old buyers?
Only to people who agreed to hear from the farm. Ask for permission in the delivery chat, record it in the buyer list and give an easy way to stop messages. Check the platform's current rules before each festival drive.
Should the video be shared with strangers?
Share it with a buyer who has asked about the animal. Do not post the farm's location or the full stock in a public group. A clip sent in a one-to-one chat shows the herd and keeps the farm's address for buyers who book a visit.
How do we keep chats from getting lost in peak season?
Use labels for new enquiry, video sent, visit booked and reserved, and clear the new-enquiry label first each day. The Business app supports labels and saved replies. A buyer who waits a day in the festival rush buys from the next farm.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
