Industrial mineral suppliers · WhatsApp marketing

Make the number on the sample bag the one a plant buyer actually messages.

WhatsApp marketing for a mineral supplier is using the business number for quotes, specification sheets, dispatch updates and sample follow-up with plant staff who already work on the app. GullySales works on the profile, the message set and the rules for who answers.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For industrial mineral suppliers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Plant buyers already live on WhatsApp”

Purchase officers and quality heads forward sheets, photographs of loaded trucks and rates through it all day. A supplier who answers there is already inside the buyer's working routine, while one who insists on email is a step away.

  • “A catalogue of grades saves the first ten messages”

A business profile listing each mineral and grade, with a specification sheet one tap away, answers the first questions before a person is needed. The buyer gets the sheet at once and the sales person gets a better-informed enquiry.

  • “Dispatch updates build trust”

A photograph of the loaded truck, the lorry number and the expected arrival, sent to the purchase officer, stops the calls asking where the material is. It also proves the load matched the order, which helps if a dispute follows.

  • “Mixed personal and business use causes damage”

When sales staff use personal numbers, the history leaves with them. One business number, with named people replying and a shared record, keeps the relationship with the plant when a person moves on.

What we do

What we deliver for industrial mineral suppliers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Business profile and grade catalogue

Profile, catalogue entries for each grade and a greeting that asks for end use and quantity.

Result: A new contact sees your grades and is asked the two key questions.

  2. Message templates

Approved wording for quotes, sample dispatch, trial follow-up and delivery, all in the buyer's language.

Result: Staff reply from a prepared set, so wording stays consistent.

  3. Specification sheet delivery

Each sheet prepared in a light file so it opens on a phone and is easy to forward.

Result: A buyer can forward a grade sheet in one tap.

  4. Dispatch update routine

A set pattern for sending truck photographs, vehicle number and arrival expectations.

Result: Every load leaves with a message to the buyer.

  5. Opt-in and number rules

A written rule that only buyers who have enquired or ordered are messaged, and who in your team replies.

Result: Staff know whom they may message and who owns each chat.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Send these on WhatsApp because plant buyers already ask for them there.

Grade catalogue with mesh and packing
A short message and PDF listing each mineral and size. Saves the first ten questions and gets the buyer to name a grade.
Test report for a lot
Send the PDF with the lot number in the message. The quality head can forward it to the lab without a call.
Photo of the sealed sample bag
Send before dispatch, with the label visible. The plant knows what to expect and can check the label on arrival.
Truck details and loading photo
Send the vehicle number, weight and a photograph when the truck leaves. It answers the purchase manager's first question.
Revised rate after freight change
Send a short message with the new figure and the date it applies from. Keep the old and new in the record.

Who it is for

This is written for these industrial mineral suppliers.

  • Silica sand and quartz suppliers for glass and foundries
  • Feldspar and quartz suppliers for ceramic and tile units
  • Bentonite and clay suppliers for foundries, drilling fluids and civil work
  • Barytes suppliers for oil-well drilling and paint
  • Talc and soapstone processors for paper, plastics and cosmetics
  • Kaolin and china clay suppliers for paper, ceramic and rubber
  • Calcite, dolomite and limestone powder suppliers
  • Mica and vermiculite suppliers for insulation and electrical uses

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • One personal phone handles all business chats, and the owner would not separate buyers from family messages.
  • You have no consent from plants to send offers, and bulk messages would break the platform's rules.
  • Your buyers deal only through formal emailed orders, so chat would add a channel nobody reads.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send bulk offers to all plants?
Not to people who have not agreed to hear from you. Check the platform's current rules and message only buyers who enquired or ordered. Unwanted bulk messages damage the number.
Is WhatsApp Business enough or do we need the API?
The Business app suits a small team and a few buyers. The API suits a larger team and automated steps. We start with the app and move only if volume needs it.
Who should hold the number?
The company, not an employee. The number is registered to the business, with named staff replying, so the chat history stays with the relationship when a person leaves.
Do plants accept lab reports sent as phone photos?
Send a clean PDF, not a photograph. A quality head files the report against a lot, and a phone photo of paper looks informal and may be refused. Keep the signed original, and send the PDF with the lot number in the file name.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
