Podcast production studios · Local SEO

Be the studio a host finds on the map when they search near their home or office.

Local SEO for a podcast studio puts the room on map and nearby searches for people who will travel to record. GullySales works on the Google Business Profile, locality pages and the details a host checks before booking a visit.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For podcast production studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A host travels once, then decides”

The first visit costs time in city traffic. Hosts search near home or office and look at photos, the address and the parking before they message. A listing with no clear photos of the room loses them before the first call.

  • “The map shows the room, not the sample”

A business profile carries room photos, location and contact details but not episodes. Linking the profile to the sample page joins the two, so the host who finds the room can also hear the work.

  • “Sound treatment is a local selling point”

Hosts worry about echo, road noise and neighbours. A profile and locality page that describe the room's treatment, the quiet hours and the access answer the question a nearby host asks before booking.

  • “Reviews should come from hosts who recorded”

A review about the recording experience carries weight with the next host. Ask only people who have recorded, reply to each review, and offer nothing in return. Check the platform's current rules on reviews.

What we do

What we deliver for podcast production studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A Google Business Profile set up properly

Services, description, room photos, address and booking link filled in and checked.

Result: The profile shows the room, the address and a link to the sample page.

  2. Locality pages

Pages for the neighbourhoods and business districts the studio serves, with directions and parking notes.

Result: A host in a nearby area finds a page that names their area.

  3. A room photo list and sound note

A shot list for the room, the control desk and the entrance, plus a plain-words note on acoustic treatment.

Result: Photos and a note that answer the host's first worries.

  4. A review request message

A polite message to send a host after a session, asking for an honest review with no incentive attached.

Result: A message ready to send from the studio's own number.

  5. A listing consistency check

The studio's name, address and phone number compared across directories and social pages.

Result: One version of the details appears everywhere.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these podcast production studios.

  • Hourly-rent podcast studios for independent hosts
  • Full-service production studios that edit and publish
  • Branded podcast studios for companies and startups
  • Video podcast studios with cameras and multi-guest set-ups
  • Studios inside co-working and media centres
  • Regional language podcast producers
  • Interview-show producers for authors, coaches and professionals
  • Mobile recording teams that set up at the client's office

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your room is still being treated for echo, and listing it now would bring hosts to a space you cannot yet show well.
  • You rent the room by arrangement and have no fixed address to publish, so a map listing would have nothing to point to.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Write down what is true

Each branch's real address, signboard name, phone, hours and owning Google account go into one record you sign off. Every later listing is copied from it.

  2. 2

    Search as your buyer does

We search each branch on a phone from points around it, in your buyers' words, and note who appears with what reviews and photos.

  3. 3

    Fix the profile first

Ownership first, then name, address, pin, phone, hours and business type. Google can suspend a profile with extra words in its name or an address that is not a real premises.

  4. 4

Build the branch pages and match the listings

Each real branch gets its own page, and the other listings are changed to agree with it. We write none for towns without a branch, because Google treats near-identical pages as doorway pages.

  5. 5

    Ask, reply and measure

We agree with each branch who asks for reviews, when and how. Results are set against the baseline recorded before work began, and the branch that is behind gets the next round.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need a profile for each room?
If rooms share one address and one business, a single profile with clear photos of each room is the starting point. A separate address needs its own profile. Check the platform's current rules on what qualifies.
Should we show the address if visits are by booking?
Yes. A host needs to know where to come. State that visits are by booking, so nobody arrives at a locked door and the profile does not draw walk-ins the studio cannot host.
What do we do about a bad review?
Reply politely, say what you will look into, and invite the reviewer to talk offline. Do not argue in public. A calm reply shows the next host how the studio treats a problem.
Which photos matter most on the studio's map listing?
The room itself, the control desk and the entrance from the street. A host judges the sound by the walls and the layout before visiting. Add a photo of the parking or the lift, since access is the second worry.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
