Poultry farms · WhatsApp marketing

Send the rate and the batch date to every buyer in one message, then take the booking.

WhatsApp marketing for a poultry farm is using the app your buyers already use to share rates, batch dates and bookings, with their consent. GullySales works on the broadcast list, the catalogue, the reply wording and the platform's current rules.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For poultry farms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The trader's group is the farm's only voice today”

Rates travel through a group the trader controls. A farm with its own broadcast list tells shops and kitchens the rate and the ready date directly, in the farm's words.

  • “A rate message needs a fixed shape”

Batch date, weight band, rate, minimum order and delivery day, in the same order each time. Buyers learn to read it in seconds and reply with a quantity.

  • “Households book on WhatsApp, not on a website”

A family asking for a country bird for Sunday wants to type a number and get a yes. A catalogue with weights and a booking day, and a reply within the farm's day, wins that sale.

  • “Adding people without asking loses them”

A buyer put on a list without agreeing blocks the number, and then the farm cannot reach even real customers. Ask first, keep the list to buyers, and check the platform's current rules on business messaging.

What we do

What we deliver for poultry farms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A consent-based broadcast list

Buyers who agreed to receive rates, sorted by shops, kitchens, households and traders.

Result: Each list holds only people who said yes.

  2. A rate message layout

A fixed template with batch date, weight band, rate and delivery day, in the local language.

Result: One message you can resend on any batch.

  3. A business catalogue

Products, weights, pack sizes and booking days, set up on WhatsApp Business.

Result: A buyer can browse your products inside the chat.

  4. Quick replies for common questions

Saved answers on rate, delivery, minimum order and payment terms.

Result: Repeated questions get the same clear answer.

  5. A booking record

Each WhatsApp booking copied to your buyer sheet with date and quantity.

Result: Bookings are not left in a chat that scrolls away.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

A rate message holds the same fields in the same order each time.

Batch date
The day the birds are ready. Buyers plan their week against it, so it goes first in the message.
Weight band
The range of live weight or dressed weight on offer. A shop or kitchen compares it with the last batch before replying.
Rate and minimum order
The price per kilo or per tray and the smallest lot. Putting both in one line stops a reply asking for a single bird.
Delivery day and hour
When the vehicle arrives. Retail shops and kitchens need the same hour each time and read the message for it.
Reply to book
A single instruction such as reply with the quantity. It turns a rate message into an order without a phone call.

Who it is for

This is written for these poultry farms.

  • Broiler farms growing birds on contract for an integrator
  • Independent broiler farms selling to traders
  • Layer farms selling table eggs
  • Country chicken and desi bird farms
  • Kadaknath and other specialty breed farms
  • Farms with their own dressing unit
  • Duck and quail farms
  • Backyard poultry groups run by women's self-help groups

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Nobody can reply to messages within the working day, and a booking that waits unanswered goes to another supplier.
  • You have collected numbers without asking the owners, and sending to them could get the number blocked.
  • You plan to send the rate to the whole village list, but the broadcast list should hold only buyers who agreed.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do I need the WhatsApp Business app?
It is the better choice for a farm, as it gives a catalogue, quick replies and a business profile. Check the platform's current rules before sending to a large list.
Can I send the same rate to everyone?
You can, but shops, kitchens and households read different things. Separate lists let each group get the wording that fits it.
Should traders be on the same list as shops and kitchens?
Keep them on separate lists. A trader reads the rate as a bid and may pass it on, while a shop or kitchen reads it as an offer. Separate lists let you send each group the message and the rate that suits them.
Can I run a catalogue for eggs and birds?
Yes, in the WhatsApp Business app a catalogue lists items with a photograph and a description. Keep weights and tray sizes in it, and leave the rate off if it changes daily. Check the platform's current rules on business messaging.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
