Salon franchise brands · WhatsApp marketing

Answer booking messages from a business number, and message only those who agreed.

WhatsApp marketing for a salon franchise is the use of a business number for bookings, reminders and franchise enquiries. GullySales sets up the replies, the catalogue and the consent rules so the front desk answers in one tone.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For salon franchise brands

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Clients message instead of calling”

A client asks for a slot, a price or a trial by WhatsApp because it fits around work. If the answer arrives late, the next salon has already replied. The front desk needs ready replies and a clear owner for the number.

  • “A personal phone is the wrong place for a business number”

Bookings on a stylist's own phone leave with the stylist. A business number held by the outlet keeps the history, lets more than one staff member reply and survives a change of team.

  • “Broadcasts to everyone annoy the people who matter”

Sending offers to every contact, including those who never asked, gets blocks and complaints. Messages should go only to people who agreed, with a plain way to stop.

  • “Franchise candidates also use WhatsApp”

Candidates send a message first. A head office number with a short welcome, a brochure link and a clear next step gives the first impression of an organised brand.

What we do

What we deliver for salon franchise brands.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business account for each outlet

A WhatsApp Business setup with the outlet's name, hours, address and service list.

Result: A client messaging the outlet sees the outlet's business profile.

  2. A set of saved replies

Replies for slot requests, price questions, bridal trials and directions, worded for the front desk to adapt.

Result: A receptionist answers a common question in seconds.

  3. A service catalogue

A catalogue of services with descriptions, so a client can see the menu without calling.

Result: Clients can browse services inside the chat.

  4. Consent capture

A line at billing and on the booking form asking permission to send reminders, with the answer recorded.

Result: Each contact has a recorded yes or no.

  5. A head office number for candidates

A separate number and welcome message for franchise enquiries, with a link to the candidate page.

Result: Candidates reach head office, not an outlet's desk.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Decide what the outlet number answers and what waits for a person.

Price list and service catalogue
Saved in the business profile, so the first question is answered before a chat starts.
Slot offers
Two available times and the stylist's name. Record the booking in the diary at once.
Consent for reminders
Asked at the desk, written in the client record with the date. Reminders go only to those who agreed.
Franchise enquiry hand-off
A saved reply that sends a candidate to the head office number. The outlet should not discuss the agreement.
Festival closing hours
A status or message with the dates. Prevents a trip to a closed door.

Who it is for

This is written for these salon franchise brands.

  • Unisex salon chains selling neighbourhood outlets
  • Women's beauty parlour franchise brands
  • Men's grooming and barber studio franchises
  • Bridal makeup and styling studio brands
  • Spa and wellness salon franchises
  • Hair care and hair treatment clinic brands
  • Nail and skin studio franchises
  • Salon brands with training academies attached

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The outlet shares one personal phone among stylists, and the number would leave when a stylist does.
  • You plan to broadcast offers to every number in the diary, whether or not clients agreed.
  • Nobody is named to reply during opening hours.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Is WhatsApp marketing allowed without permission?
Send promotional messages only to people who agreed. Check the platform's current rules on templates and business messaging, and keep a record of consent for each contact.
Should the stylist's number be on the profile?
No. Use the outlet's business number so history stays with the outlet. A stylist can be named in a booking, and clients are routed through the outlet.
Can one number serve every outlet?
For a small network, yes. A larger network works better with one number per outlet and a head office number, so each message reaches the right desk.
Can one WhatsApp number serve every outlet?
Not well. Clients book at the nearest outlet and expect that outlet's stylists and hours. One number puts all messages in one queue and hides which outlet lost a booking. Give each outlet its own business number and keep a head office number for candidates.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
