Solid waste management companies · WhatsApp marketing

Use WhatsApp for what it already does in a ward: timings, misses and segregation.

WhatsApp marketing for a waste operator means the group, the broadcast list and the reply routine that residents, supervisors and client officers already use. GullySales sets up the messages, the permissions and the log so that the channel carries service information and keeps a record.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For solid waste management companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Residents already run the group”

A society has a group where collection is discussed. If your company is in it with a named contact, a missed lane gets a reply there and not a complaint elsewhere.

  • “Supervisors send photographs from the lane”

A photograph of a cleared street or a blocked access is the proof the engineer asks for. Without a routine, those photographs stay in personal phones.

  • “Permission matters”

Adding residents to a list without agreement upsets them and may breach the platform's rules. Ask first, keep messages about service, and check the platform's current rules.

  • “A broadcast of timings prevents calls”

Telling a society that collection moves for a festival, or that segregation bins change colour, saves the committee and your office a day of calls.

What we do

What we deliver for solid waste management companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business number and profile

A business account with the company name, service description and a person who answers.

Result: A number that residents and officers can trust.

  2. Message templates

Wording for timing changes, missed-lane replies, segregation reminders and complaint closure.

Result: Messages go out in the same plain style.

  3. A permission and opt-out routine

A simple way to ask residents and contacts to join and to leave, with the list kept by consent.

Result: A list of people who agreed to receive messages.

  4. A supervisor photo routine

A rule for what supervisors send, to whom and how it is filed.

Result: Photographs reach the log, not only a phone.

  5. A complaint log from chats

Complaints raised in chats are copied to a record with time, lane and closure.

Result: Every chat complaint has a closing note.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

What goes into a ward message, and what stays out of it.

Collection timing for tomorrow
One short message with the lane names and the vehicle window. Send it to those who agreed to receive it, so it cuts calls without annoying anyone.
Missed lane photo from the supervisor
The supervisor posts a photo of the lane, the time and the trip made. It shows the miss was taken seriously, and the photo goes in the complaint log.
Bin colour reminder
A single graphic in the ward language, sent with a line on the next dry waste day. Keep it to the one message, since long forwards are muted.
Opt-in and opt-out record
Record the resident's number, consent and date, and remove a number as soon as it asks. Check the platform's current rules on business messaging.
Bulk generator pickup confirmation
A confirmation to a hotel or market manager after each pickup, with the quantity noted in the manager's own units. It builds the record they hold.

Who it is for

This is written for these solid waste management companies.

  • Door-to-door collection operators for municipal wards
  • Township and gated community waste contractors
  • Bulk waste generators' operators for hotels, markets and campuses
  • Waste transport and secondary transfer station operators
  • Compost, biogas and processing plant operators
  • Landfill and legacy waste remediation contractors
  • Street sweeping and mechanical sweeping contractors
  • Construction and demolition waste handlers working with municipal bodies

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Residents have not agreed to receive messages from you, and a list built from a resident group you do not run would break trust.
  • You cannot answer a reply from a household in the same day, and a broadcast invites replies.
  • The ward group is run by the RWA, who do not want a company in it, and joining it uninvited would harm the relationship.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we message every household?
Only those who agreed. Check the platform's current rules before sending any broadcast.
Should the group be run by the company?
A society group belongs to the society. Ask to be a member with a named contact, and run a separate list for your own announcements.
Is the log needed?
Yes. A chat vanishes from view. A short log gives you proof of response when an officer asks.
Should a supervisor use a personal number for resident messages?
Prefer a company number with the supervisor's name on the profile. A personal number leaves with the person when the post changes, and the complaint history goes with it. A business number lets the next supervisor read what was promised in the lane.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
