Videography companies · Local SEO

Appear in the map results when a coordinator in your city searches for a videographer.

Local SEO for a videography company is the work of showing in map results and city searches when a nearby buyer looks for a crew. GullySales works on the business profile, the city and area wording, and the reviews that sit beside your name.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For videography companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The map result is where a hurried coordinator looks first”

A hospital marketing coordinator with a conference in the diary types videographer near me. The names in the map result get the first call, and a crew with a thin profile never enters that conversation.

  • “A studio address and a service area are different things”

You shoot at the client's venue, so the studio matters little, and the areas you travel to matter a great deal. A profile that lists the cities and districts you cover matches searches from places you serve.

  • “Reviews from corporate clients read differently”

A review from an organiser who praises timing and the edit is worth more than a generic five stars. The buyer reads for punctuality, communication and whether the files arrived as agreed.

  • “Photos on the profile show the crew, not stock”

A profile with a camera setup, a crew at a venue and a finished screen reads as a working company. Stock images or a logo alone make a coordinator wonder whether the crew exists.

What we do

What we deliver for videography companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A verified business profile

The profile set up with the right primary service, your areas, hours and booking line.

Result: Your company shows as a business, not only a website.

  2. A service area list by district

The districts and nearby cities you travel to, entered on the profile and repeated on the site.

Result: Searches from your travel area can reach you.

  3. A review ask after each delivery

A short message with the review link sent when the client confirms the final files.

Result: New reviews come from clients who have just received the work.

  4. Profile photos from real shoots

A set of crew, equipment and venue photographs taken with the client's permission.

Result: The profile shows work in progress, not stock.

  5. Replies to every review

Written replies that name the type of job and answer any complaint plainly.

Result: Future buyers see how you handle a problem.

  6. Call and direction counts read from the profile

The profile's own figures set against the starting position.

Result: You can see whether the profile brings enquiries.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What a coordinator types when the date is close, and what your profile should show.

videographer near me for event
A profile with the service area stated, a phone answered in working hours and photographs from real shoots.
wedding or corporate videographer in [city]
Service pages for each kind of work linked from the profile, with a reel matched to each.
drone shoot permission [city]
A page describing the permissions you check for aerial work in that city. Say to check the current rules.
video production studio [area] address
The studio address if clients visit, or the service area if you travel to them. Choose one and keep it the same everywhere.
[studio name] reviews
Honest comments from corporate clients after delivery, asked for politely and never rewarded. Check the platform's current rules.

Who it is for

This is written for these videography companies.

  • Corporate film and company profile video producers
  • Event and conference videographers
  • Product and explainer video studios
  • Training and e-learning video producers
  • Drone and aerial videography companies
  • Real estate and hospitality video producers
  • Social media video and reel production teams
  • Live-streaming and multi-camera event crews

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You work from a home office and do not want clients to know the address, so a pin would expose it.
  • Nobody will reply to reviews, and silence beside a complaint reads as agreement.
  • You do not take new local clients and work only for two agencies.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Write down what is true

Each branch's real address, signboard name, phone, hours and owning Google account go into one record you sign off. Every later listing is copied from it.

  2. 2

    Search as your buyer does

We search each branch on a phone from points around it, in your buyers' words, and note who appears with what reviews and photos.

  3. 3

    Fix the profile first

Ownership first, then name, address, pin, phone, hours and business type. Google can suspend a profile with extra words in its name or an address that is not a real premises.

  4. 4

Build the branch pages and match the listings

Each real branch gets its own page, and the other listings are changed to agree with it. We write none for towns without a branch, because Google treats near-identical pages as doorway pages.

  5. 5

    Ask, reply and measure

We agree with each branch who asks for reviews, when and how. Results are set against the baseline recorded before work began, and the branch that is behind gets the next round.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We work from a home office. Can we list an address?
Check the platform's current rules on home-based and service-area businesses. If you meet clients at their venues, a service-area listing without a public address may fit better than showing a home address.
Do city pages on our site help?
A page for a city helps only if it says something true about your work there, such as venues, kinds of events and travel. Pages with the city name swapped and the text unchanged add nothing for a buyer.
Can the profile show a showreel?
Yes, with photographs from shoots and a link to the reel on your site. Check the platform's current rules on video. A reel on the profile shows the work before the call, and the constraint is size, so use a short cut.
What if clients prefer not to be named in reviews?
Respect it. A review without a name still helps, and the client can write about the process instead. Never write a review for a client. Many corporate buyers cannot post publicly, so ask for a private recommendation letter in that case.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
