Chartered accountants and accounting firms · Website

Build a site where a banker's referral confirms you do their kind of work.

A website for a CA firm is where a referred prospect checks the firm's services, partners and fit, so it has to state facts clearly and stay within ICAI and ICSI guidance. GullySales plans the pages by client type and service, writes the copy and sets up the enquiry route.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For chartered accountants and accounting firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The visitor arrives with a name and a doubt”

A banker or friend gave the owner the firm's name. The owner opens the site to confirm one thing: that the firm handles businesses like theirs. A site opening with a general welcome and a list of every service leaves that doubt unanswered.

  • “A list of services is not a statement of fit”

Pages for manufacturers, traders, startups and NRIs let each visitor see their own situation. A single services page that names every service reads as a firm that does everything and so signals nothing specific.

  • “Partner pages carry weight”

Visitors want to know who they will deal with. A page for each partner stating qualifications, areas of work and registration details, within what the code allows, answers the question whether a partner or an article assistant will handle the file.

  • “The site must not break the code”

Superiority claims, fee statements, client lists and testimonials are risky for a member in practice. A page of facts about the firm, its people and its services is the safer route. Each page should be read against the current ICAI and ICSI guidance before publishing.

What we do

What we deliver for chartered accountants and accounting firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Site plan by client type and service

A map of pages for each client type and main service, with the order and links between them.

Result: A visitor reaches the page that fits them within a click or two.

  2. Service page copy

Plain-language pages for audit, GST, income tax, ROC and advisory work, stating what the firm does and what the client provides.

Result: Each page answers what the work involves.

  3. Partner and firm profile pages

Pages stating each partner's qualification, registration and areas of work, and the firm's address and contact details.

Result: A visitor knows who is responsible for their file.

  4. Enquiry form and contact route

A short form asking client type and service wanted, routed to a named person, with a visible office address and phone.

Result: Every enquiry reaches someone and carries context.

  5. Mobile and speed check

A review of how pages load and read on a phone, since owners open the site on a phone.

Result: Pages read on a small screen without zooming in.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these chartered accountants and accounting firms.

  • Sole practitioner chartered accountants
  • Small and mid-sized CA partnership firms
  • Statutory and internal audit practices
  • GST and indirect tax specialists
  • Company secretaries in practice
  • Accounting and bookkeeping service firms
  • Firms serving startups and funded companies
  • Firms serving NRIs and cross-border clients
  • Second-generation practices modernising their client base

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The firm has not settled which partners may be named online, and the pages depend on it.
  • You want a page that lists every service a CA can offer, which tells a banker nothing about your own work.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the page list, what each page must answer, and who supplies the text and photographs, before any design starts.

  2. 2

    Design the templates

The home page, a service page, a location page and the enquiry page are designed first, on phone and desktop, and shown to you.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is built and checked on real phones and the common browsers. Every form, call button and WhatsApp link is tested end to end.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information replace placeholders. Pages are read through once by you, since you spot wrong details we cannot.

  5. 5

    Check before launch

Tracking, page titles, the sitemap and the privacy page are checked on the staging site. If an old site exists, its addresses are mapped so old links still land somewhere.

  6. 6

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live and we record the domain, hosting, content login and analytics in your name. The first live enquiry is traced to confirm tracking works.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a blog on the site?
Only if the partners will write for it. A few current, accurate articles are better than a large neglected archive. Start with service pages and add articles once there is someone to keep them up to date.
Can we show the names of our clients?
That is a conduct and confidentiality question. Naming clients can amount to publicity that the guidance restricts, and it reveals relationships the client may not want shown. Check with the Institute and obtain written consent before considering it.
Can the website take document uploads?
It can, but financial documents then sit with whoever hosts the form. Decide where files land and who can open them. We would sooner route clients to a controlled storage link than collect papers through a general form.
What should a CA website leave out?
Client names, testimonials, fee quotes to attract work and claims of being the best or the leading firm. Rules differ by body and change, so check the current guidance of ICAI or ICSI. Describe the services, the partners and how to start a conversation.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
