Tax consulting firms · Website

Build pages around the notice, the deadline and the question the owner types.

A website for a tax firm is the set of pages an owner reads after a search, deciding in a few moments whether to ring. GullySales plans the pages around real tax situations, writes them in plain words and makes the call or message button impossible to miss.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

Last updated 17 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For tax consulting firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A list of services does not answer a worried reader”

An owner with a demand letter does not search for the firm's service menu. They look for a page that names their situation. A site organised around internal departments makes them hunt, and they leave for one that does not.

  • “Profession rules shape what the page may say”

A chartered accountancy firm works within ICAI guidance on what a website may carry. Claims of being the best, results from past cases and client praise are the usual traps. The page explains and informs, and the partner approves it.

  • “The phone number is the element that matters first”

First contacts arrive as a call or a message, from a phone screen. A number that is hard to tap, a form that asks too much or a page that loads slowly costs the enquiry.

  • “Out-of-date content damages trust”

Tax rules and due dates change. A page quoting last year's date or an old form makes a careful reader doubt the firm. Each page needs an owner and a date it was last checked.

What we do

What we deliver for tax consulting firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A plan of pages by situation

A list of pages for each notice, deadline and client type you serve, ordered by how frequently those enquiries reach you.

Result: The site covers the questions people actually search.

  2. Plain-language situation pages

Each page says what the notice or deadline means, what papers are needed and how to reach the firm, without hedging or overclaiming.

Result: A reader leaves knowing what to do next.

  3. A clear call and message route

Tap-to-call and a WhatsApp link on every page, with a short form asking only name, number and the situation.

Result: The owner reaches the firm in one step.

  4. Partner and team pages that tell the truth

Qualifications, registration details and areas of work stated exactly as your professional body allows.

Result: The firm presents itself accurately and within the rules.

  5. Mobile-first layout and page speed

A layout designed for a phone first, with images and scripts kept light.

Result: The page opens properly on an ordinary phone connection.

  6. A review date on each page

A visible last-checked date and a named person responsible for keeping each tax page current.

Result: Out-of-date rules are caught before a reader acts on them.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The partners have not agreed what the firm may publish, so any page would wait for approval that never arrives.
  • No one will revisit the pages when a rule changes, and tax content that goes out of date misleads readers.
  • The firm wants a site only to hold a logo and a phone number, and situation pages would add work it does not intend to do.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the page list, what each page must answer, and who supplies the text and photographs, before any design starts.

  2. 2

    Design the templates

The home page, a service page, a location page and the enquiry page are designed first, on phone and desktop, and shown to you.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is built and checked on real phones and the common browsers. Every form, call button and WhatsApp link is tested end to end.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information replace placeholders. Pages are read through once by you, since you spot wrong details we cannot.

  5. 5

    Check before launch

Tracking, page titles, the sitemap and the privacy page are checked on the staging site. If an old site exists, its addresses are mapped so old links still land somewhere.

  6. 6

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live and we record the domain, hosting, content login and analytics in your name. The first live enquiry is traced to confirm tracking works.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a new site or can the old one be fixed?
Look at what the old one does first. If the structure is sound and the pages load well, adding situation pages may be enough. If it is built around services only and hard to edit, a rebuild may serve you better.
Can we publish case results or client names?
Check with your own council or adviser, because rules for chartered accountants restrict this. A safe default is to explain the process and the type of work you do, and leave out names, outcomes and comparisons.
Who writes the tax content?
GullySales drafts the pages in plain language from your briefing, and your partner checks every statement of law and every date before it goes live. The firm stays responsible for accuracy.
Can a tax firm's site show a fee list?
Show what drives a fee, not a fixed list, unless your body's rules and your scope allow it. Fees depend on the papers and the work, so a list can mislead. A page that explains the factors and offers a quote after a call is safer.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
