Industrial construction contractors · Search engine optimisation

Be the page a plant head finds when the search names the exact job.

SEO for an industrial construction contractor means writing pages that answer the specific searches a plant head or consultant types, such as machine foundations or wash-down floors. It does not mean ranking for the word construction. GullySales plans the pages, writes them around real jobs and checks what the searches bring in.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For industrial construction contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Industrial buyers search for the job, not the trade”

A plant head types industrial flooring for a food unit or foundation for a vibrating machine. A page titled construction services matches neither. The page that names the job and the building features can match both.

  • “A mixed website confuses the search and the buyer”

When houses, shops and a factory share one page list, the site reads as a house builder's. Separate pages for industrial work tell the search engine and the plant head what you actually do.

  • “Proof is hard to publish, so describe it”

Clients restrict photographs for safety and secrecy. A page can still describe floor loads, drain slopes, clear height and working around a running line without naming the client or showing the plant.

  • “Consultants read the page before they name you”

A process consultant asked for two or three contractors checks each website. A clear page on cold storage civil work or effluent plant buildings decides whether your name stays on the list.

What we do

What we deliver for industrial construction contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Keyword plan by job and area

A list of the searches that match your work, grouped by job type and industrial area, kept to the ones a plant buyer would use.

Result: You hold a list of searches, each linked to a page that answers it.

  2. One page per job type

Pages for sheds, warehouses, foundations, flooring, cold storage and utility buildings, each written around the building features that mattered.

Result: A page exists for each job you want, in plain language.

  3. Descriptions of work that cannot be photographed

Written case descriptions and drawings in place of site photographs, shared only as far as the client has agreed.

Result: Your best restricted work is shown without breaking the client's rules.

  4. Technical clean-up of the site

Page titles, headings, speed and mobile layout checked so the pages can be read and indexed properly.

Result: The site passes a basic technical check and loads on a phone.

  5. Search results review

A look at which pages bring enquiries and which searches reach nobody, with changes made to the weaker pages.

Result: You can see which pages earned enquiries and which still need work.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How soon will the site rank?
Nobody can promise a ranking or a date, and we do not. Ranking depends on competition, the pages and the searches chosen. What we can show you is which searches the pages are built for and which enquiries arrived.
Do we need a blog for industrial SEO?
Not first. Job pages come before articles. An article on floor finish for a wash-down area is worth writing later, once the core pages exist and you know which questions plant buyers ask.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
