Energy management and audit companies · Social media

Post the logger trace and the savings sheet, not another green slogan.

Social media for an energy audit firm means putting the evidence of your work in front of plant heads, facility engineers and finance managers where they already read, mostly LinkedIn and industry groups. GullySales works on what the firm posts, who it is posted for and how a reply becomes a conversation about an audit.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For energy management and audit companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Slogans about saving energy are everywhere”

Every dealer and installer posts a bulb and a percentage. A plant head scrolling past has learnt to ignore them. A photograph of a clamp-on meter on a panel, with a line on what it was logging, shows an auditor at work and is harder to confuse with a vendor.

  • “The buyer lurks and the engineer comments”

The finance head who approves a retrofit rarely reacts to a post, while the maintenance engineer reads it and forwards it. Write for the engineer's questions, such as how the load was logged and over what duration, because that forward is how the post reaches the person who signs.

  • “A client's plant cannot be shown without permission”

A photograph of a client's boiler house or a bill with the tariff visible can identify the client. Without written consent, post on an invented plant or a redacted sheet, and keep the name and the location out of the frame.

  • “Consultants and dealers read the same feed”

The electrical consultant who might refer an audit and the dealer who competes for the retrofit both follow you. A post that credits the consultant's design and keeps the equipment brand neutral keeps both relationships intact.

What we do

What we deliver for energy management and audit companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A short list of post formats the firm can repeat

Instrument on site, a bill explained line by line, a worked payback, a mistake found in a past study, and a tariff revision explained for factory owners.

Result: The team knows what to post without a fresh brainstorm each time.

  2. A consent note for client material

A one-page wording the client can sign before any photograph, redacted sheet or result is posted, held with the project file.

Result: No post goes out that a client has not cleared in writing.

  3. Named-auditor profiles

LinkedIn profiles for the lead auditors that show qualifications, the instruments they work with and the sectors they have studied, written in the auditors' own voice.

Result: A buyer who opens a post can see who would walk the plant.

  4. A reply routine for comments and messages

Who answers a technical comment, who takes a request for a visit, and where each lands in the enquiry log with its source recorded.

Result: A comment that asks for an audit is not left unanswered.

  5. Posts timed to buyer triggers

Content planned around tariff revisions, mandated audit cycles and the hot season for cooling plant, drawn from the trigger calendar.

Result: Posts reach buyers while the bill or the deadline is on their mind.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Posts and pieces to plan

What an audit firm can post that a plant head will forward to the finance team.

Clamp-on logger on a panel
A photograph of the instrument with a caption on what it was recording and over what run. Crop out any client name plate or board label before posting.
A power bill read line by line
A redacted bill with the maximum demand and power factor lines marked. The proof is the sheet itself; an invented plant works if the client has not consented.
A payback sum with the assumptions
Running hours, tariff and cost shown on a plain sheet, so a finance head can check the arithmetic without a call.
A mistake caught in an earlier study
A short note on what an older estimate missed, such as a seasonal load, and what the later measurement showed. It signals method more than any claim of care.
A tariff order change explained
A post for factory owners linking the DISCOM's own order and saying which bill line moves. Check the current order before posting.

Who it is for

This is written for these energy management and audit companies.

  • Energy auditors accredited for designated consumers in sectors such as textiles, cement, paper and metals
  • Energy audit and management consultancies serving MSME factories and industrial area clusters
  • Building energy auditors for hospitals, hotels, malls, IT parks and campuses
  • ISO 50001 consultants who set up and audit energy management systems
  • ESCOs that finance a retrofit and are paid from the savings
  • Energy monitoring and sub-metering companies selling meters and dashboards
  • Power quality specialists working on harmonics, capacitor banks and maximum demand
  • Green building and sustainability consultants who model energy use for rating systems

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • No auditor is willing to be named on a post, and a company page alone would read as the dealer slogans you are trying to avoid.
  • Your clients have not agreed to any photograph or sheet being shown, so the strongest material cannot yet be posted.

How it works

How the social media work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm audience, platforms and access

We note which platforms your buyers use and check that the pages sit under your own business accounts, with you as owner and us as added roles.

  2. 2

    Review the current presence

We read the existing pages, the posts that drew replies and the gaps in posting.

  3. 3

    Build the calendar

Themes, formats and dates are set out for your approval, with space for offers and news.

  4. 4

    Create, approve and publish

Posts are made, approved by you and scheduled. Replies to the public are handled in your voice.

  5. 5

    Record enquiries and adjust

Enquiries are logged against the post or platform where they began, and the mix changes to follow what brings them.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which platform should an energy audit firm use?
LinkedIn first, because plant heads, consultants and procurement staff are there for work. A WhatsApp broadcast to existing contacts and a YouTube channel for site explainers can follow once the posting routine holds.
Can we post savings figures from a past audit?
Only with the client's written clearance, and with the tariff, running hours and basis stated beside the figure. Call it an estimate unless it was measured after installation. Check the current advertising norms for your profession with your own adviser.
Should the auditors post or the company page?
Both, with different jobs. The company page holds the sample report and the service pages, while the named auditors carry the credibility. Buyers follow a person who explains a meter reading more readily than a logo.
How do we handle a comment from a dealer who disagrees with our finding?
Reply with the measurement, not the opinion. A dealer's challenge is read by the plant head too, so state what was logged and over what run, and invite the dealer to compare the data. Keep the equipment brand out of the reply.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
