Computer and laptop dealers · Lead generation

Forty price questions a week and nobody knows who ended up buying.

Lead generation for a dealer is turning price checks and bulk enquiries into visits, quotes and orders you can trace. GullySales writes the replies that give a reason to come in, records every enquiry with the model asked about, and sets up the follow-up nobody at a busy counter remembers.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For computer and laptop dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A price sent with nothing attached is a lost enquiry”

The number goes straight into a comparison with a marketplace and you never hear back. The same number with stock, setup, the bill and the service desk behind it starts a conversation.

  • “The service queue is a list of buyers nobody sells to”

A customer waiting for a battery replacement has a four-year-old machine and a reason to think about a new one. Nobody asks them. That queue is the warmest list in the shop.

  • “A bulk enquiry dies on a slow quote”

An office mailing three dealers gives the order to whoever sends a clean quote with GST, warranty terms and delivery first. Two days later is too late.

What we do

What we deliver for computer and laptop dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. WhatsApp reply templates by enquiry type

Ready answers for a model price check, a repair question, an exchange query and a bulk requirement, each ending with a question rather than a figure.

Result: Staff answer fast without giving away the sale.

  2. An enquiry sheet with the model and the buying date

Every call, message and walk-in recorded with what was asked about, when they intend to buy and who spoke to them.

Result: You can finally see how many enquiries a week you get.

  3. A next-day follow-up routine

One message the following day to everybody who did not visit, with stock, the bundle and the exchange figure on their old machine.

Result: Price checks turn into counter visits.

  4. A selling question for the service queue

A short line the service desk asks every customer about the age of the machine, with an upgrade and an exchange figure ready.

Result: Repair customers start leaving with new machines.

  5. A bulk quote that goes out the same day

A quote format with configuration, quantity, GST, warranty handling, delivery and payment terms, needing only the numbers filled in.

Result: You are the first dealer to reply, every time.

  6. Exchange and EMI answers ready at the counter

A current exchange grid for common old models and a one-page EMI explainer covering bank offers and documents needed.

Result: The budget objection gets answered on the spot.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where enquiries come from

The places a purchase enquiry reaches a computer shop, and what to record at each.

A WhatsApp message asking a model's price
Ask the use, the budget and when they need it. Reply with two options and the stock position, and write the model in the enquiry sheet.
A walk-in who has seen a lower online price
Record the model and the price shown. Offer the shop's extra, such as setup, warranty handling or a local service, and note whether they bought.
A repair or service customer
Write the device, the fault and the number. Mention an upgrade or a new accessory only when the repair is done, and record the interest.
A business or institution's requirement
Record the organisation, the number of systems, the specification and the person who approves. Send a written quotation with the validity date and GST invoice terms.
A call from the Maps listing
Ask what they are looking for and write 'Maps' as the source. Check that the listing shows your brands and your working hours.
A gaming or custom build enquiry
Record the games or software they use, the budget and the parts they already own. Offer a written build list with each part's make and price.

Who it is for

This is written for these computer and laptop dealers.

  • Multi-brand computer and laptop stores
  • Brand exclusive stores and franchises
  • Computer market dealers in trading hubs
  • Gaming PC builders and component sellers
  • Refurbished laptop and desktop sellers
  • Laptop repair and service centres
  • Corporate and institutional IT hardware suppliers
  • Printer, peripheral and accessories dealers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Nobody answers WhatsApp before the evening, so more price checks would only reach a silent shop
  • You do not yet keep a sheet of enquiries by model, so there is nothing to show which leads turned into sales

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We ask how many enquiries your team can answer well, who answers after hours, and what a good enquiry looks like. Without this, the system fills a funnel nobody is watching.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We read your call log, WhatsApp chats, enquiry sheet and platform dashboards. The baseline is recorded: enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Search and maps are chosen for people ready to buy, ads for people who are not yet looking, and content and referrals for trust.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms, tags, the lead record and the first-reply message are built and tested end to end. We submit test enquiries ourselves before any media money is spent.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

Enquiries are traced to source and judged by what became orders, not by volume alone. Channels that fill the sheet with poor enquiries are cut back. How often you are reported to is agreed in writing.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What should the WhatsApp reply say?
The figure, what is included, whether it is in the shop today, and one reason to come in, such as data transfer or the exchange value on their old machine. Then ask when they plan to buy. That single question tells you who to chase.
How do we follow up when there are dozens of enquiries a week?
Write them down first. Name, model asked about, date and whether they came in, on one sheet or a simple CRM. A message the next day to everyone who did not visit takes ten minutes and recovers a few sales a week.
A customer asked for a price and never replied. Should we follow up?
Follow up once, within the shop's own routine, with a message about stock or an offer for the model they asked about. If there is no answer, mark it as closed in the sheet. Ten unanswered messages are not worth a daily call.
How do we find business buyers among our walk-ins?
Ask the ones buying more than one system or a printer what they do and who buys for them. Write the business and the person down. Schools, clinics, and small offices buy regularly, and a note of the next refresh date helps you call at the right time.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
