Computer and laptop dealers · Search engine optimisation

You will not outrank a marketplace on a model name, so stop trying.

Search engine optimisation (SEO) for a dealer means picking the searches a marketplace cannot win: repairs, upgrades, same-day stock and bulk supply in your own city. GullySales builds the pages for those, gets the service desk and the business-supply side found, and reports enquiries against each page.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For computer and laptop dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A dead laptop is the search worth owning”

Somebody whose screen cracked this morning types a repair search with their locality in it and rings the first three results. That person is buying today, and no marketplace wants them.

  • “Model price pages are a race you lose by entering”

The marketplaces, the brand and a dozen comparison sites already hold those searches. Write about what you add around the machine: setup, data transfer, the GST bill and a warranty claim you handle yourself.

  • “Bulk supply searches come from an office, not a market”

An admin manager looks for a supplier who will quote on twenty machines with GST. In most cities that search has almost no competition, and one page answers it.

What we do

What we deliver for computer and laptop dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for every repair you take

Screen, battery, keyboard, hinge, chip-level and data recovery work, each with what it involves, how long it takes and the typical range.

Result: The urgent repair search lands on your shop.

  2. A business supply page built for an office buyer

Bulk quoting, GST invoicing, warranty handling, delivery and installation, with a form that asks for quantity and configuration.

Result: Office orders arrive without anybody knowing the owner.

  3. Market and locality wording in the page titles

The road, the market and the locality buyers actually name written into titles and headings, matched to your Business Profile.

Result: You appear in the area search, not only by shop name.

  4. Buying guides for the searches students make

Pages on what a first-year student, a design course or a small office needs, written around the machines you stock and the budgets you see.

Result: Parents arrive with a shortlist you wrote.

  5. A technical and speed check on the site

Page speed on mobile data, broken links, the WhatsApp button on every page and a contact number that a phone can dial.

Result: The visitor can reach you from the page.

  6. Report by page and enquiry

Position and enquiries for each repair, guide and supply page, compared with the baseline recorded before work started.

Result: You see which page is actually filling the shop.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your customers type

What a customer types before visiting a computer shop, and the page that answers it.

laptop repair near me
A repair page. List what you fix (screen, keyboard, battery, motherboard), how a customer drops off or books a pickup, how a quote is given and the warranty on repair work.
laptop screen replacement cost for HP
A brand and repair page. Say where the parts come from, the warranty on the part, and how a quote is given. Invite a model number rather than quoting a price that varies by model.
SSD upgrade for old laptop
An upgrade page. Explain what changes for an old laptop, what data transfer involves, and when an upgrade is not worth doing. Honest advice sells the upgrade and builds trust.
bulk laptop supplier for office with GST invoice
A business page. List brands, the GST invoice, warranty handling, on-site service and delivery for a batch order. Add a short enquiry form that asks the quantity and model.
refurbished laptop with warranty
A refurbished page. Explain how units are graded and tested, the warranty and what it covers, and give a bill. Show the stock as text, with specifications.
custom gaming PC build near me
A build page. List the parts you recommend by use, how a build is assembled and tested, and the warranty on each part. Say what the customer should ask a seller.

Who it is for

This is written for these computer and laptop dealers.

  • Multi-brand computer and laptop stores
  • Brand exclusive stores and franchises
  • Computer market dealers in trading hubs
  • Gaming PC builders and component sellers
  • Refurbished laptop and desktop sellers
  • Laptop repair and service centres
  • Corporate and institutional IT hardware suppliers
  • Printer, peripheral and accessories dealers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no one at the service desk to take a booking from a search, so a repair page would bring calls nobody returns
  • Your stock changes daily and nobody updates the shop page, so searchers would arrive for a machine that is gone

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At an interval agreed in writing we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What should our website actually contain?
The things people ring to ask. Which brands you stock, whether a model is in the shop today, what repairs you take, how long they take, and how a bulk quote works. Put a WhatsApp button on every one of those pages.
Is it worth writing about the models we sell?
Only where you can say something a marketplace listing cannot. Which of three machines suits a first-year engineering student here, or what an upgrade does to a four-year-old one. Copying a spec sheet brings nothing.
Should repair and sales sit on the same site?
Yes, but on separate pages. A repair customer and a buyer arrive with different needs. Give repairs their own page, and link between the two so a repair visit can lead to an upgrade or a purchase.
How do we show we are an authorised dealer?
Show the authorisation certificate or dealer listing for each brand, and keep it current. If you are not authorised, say what you sell and the warranty source. Never imply authorisation you do not hold.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
