Computer and laptop dealers · Website

Build a website that shows what the shop gives beyond the price.

A website for a computer and laptop dealer is the page a buyer reads after the Maps result and before the walk-in, and it must answer who the shop serves, what is in stock and why to buy here. GullySales plans and writes pages by buyer type so each visitor finds their own answer.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For computer and laptop dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A product list copies the marketplace and loses to it”

If your site is a grid of models and prices, the buyer compares it with a giant retailer's page and leaves. The page that explains set-up, data transfer, warranty handling and EMI gives a reason that a marketplace listing cannot.

  • “The student, the office and the gamer need separate doors”

Each arrives with a different question. A single homepage that speaks to everyone answers none of them. Separate pages for students, business supply, gaming builds and repair let each visitor see themselves in the first line.

  • “The phone user wants three things above the fold”

On a phone, the buyer wants the address, the hours and a way to message you. Dealers bury these under banners. A site that opens with the shop's location and a WhatsApp button turns a search into a visit.

  • “Stock that is out of date is worse than no stock”

A page showing a model you sold out last week sends a buyer to the counter to be disappointed. Either keep a short list of what is in the shop or describe the ranges you carry and ask the buyer to message for availability.

What we do

What we deliver for computer and laptop dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A site map built around buyer types

Pages for students, business supply, gaming and custom builds, refurbished machines and repairs, plus a clear contact and store page.

Result: Each visitor reaches the page that matches their need.

  2. Store details and message button on every page

Address, hours, map link and a WhatsApp button placed where a phone user sees them first.

Result: A visitor can reach you from any page.

  3. Business supply page with quote request

A page covering bulk supply, GST invoices, brand authorisation and warranty handling, with a short quote form.

Result: Business buyers can ask for a quote without searching for a phone number.

  4. Repair and upgrade page

A page listing the repairs and upgrades you handle, with how to book and what to bring.

Result: Service desk enquiries arrive with the details you need.

  5. Page copy that explains what is included

Plain wording on set-up, data transfer, warranty, EMI and exchange, written for each buyer type.

Result: The page gives a buyer a reason beyond price.

  6. Basic tracking for calls, chats and form sends

Counting of taps on the phone number and WhatsApp button and of quote forms sent.

Result: You can see how many visitors reached out.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these computer and laptop dealers.

  • Multi-brand computer and laptop stores
  • Brand exclusive stores and franchises
  • Computer market dealers in trading hubs
  • Gaming PC builders and component sellers
  • Refurbished laptop and desktop sellers
  • Laptop repair and service centres
  • Corporate and institutional IT hardware suppliers
  • Printer, peripheral and accessories dealers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You plan to sell online with payment and delivery, and the counter is not ready to handle returns, so the site would promise what the shop cannot do
  • Nobody will keep the opening hours and stock notes current, and an out-of-date site sends buyers to a closed or empty counter

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the page list, what each page must answer, and who supplies the text and photographs, before any design starts.

  2. 2

    Design the templates

The home page, a service page, a location page and the enquiry page are designed first, on phone and desktop, and shown to you.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is built and checked on real phones and the common browsers. Every form, call button and WhatsApp link is tested end to end.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information replace placeholders. Pages are read through once by you, since you spot wrong details we cannot.

  5. 5

    Check before launch

Tracking, page titles, the sitemap and the privacy page are checked on the staging site. If an old site exists, its addresses are mapped so old links still land somewhere.

  6. 6

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live and we record the domain, hosting, content login and analytics in your name. The first live enquiry is traced to confirm tracking works.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need online selling on the site?
Not necessarily. Some dealers do better using the site to send buyers to the counter or to chat. If you want online orders, that adds payment, delivery and returns work, and we would plan it separately with you.
How many pages does a dealer's site need?
As many as there are buyer types and services you want to be found for, and no more. Start with the pages for your largest sources of revenue and add others when you can keep them accurate.
Should the site list prices?
List a price only if you will keep it current. Otherwise describe the range and invite a message. An old price on a page sets an expectation the counter then has to undo.
Can the site handle both a retail buyer and a bulk buyer?
Yes, through separate pages. A bulk buyer wants GST invoicing, stated quantity and warranty handling, while a retail buyer wants the set-up and the price. One page tries to answer both and persuades neither, so each gets its own door.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
