IoT companies · Local SEO

Be the connected-systems firm a plant owner finds when searching in their own town.

Local SEO for an IoT company means appearing in town-level searches and map results for the places where you survey, install and support. GullySales works on your business profile, service-area pages and the town-wise listings that tell a buyer someone can reach the site.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For IoT companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The site survey is a visit, so distance matters”

An owner of a cold room in Nashik asks whether someone can come and look at it. A firm that shows no presence near that town loses the search to one that does, even if the technology is better.

  • “Service area needs to be written, not assumed”

A business profile that lists only a head office tells the map nothing about the towns you serve. Each region where you can install and support needs to be named on the profile and on a page of its own.

  • “Support presence is a local fact”

A plant manager wants to know that a technician can reach the site when a sensor goes offline. Photographs from sites in that region, and the name of the local installer partner, show support is nearby.

What we do

What we deliver for IoT companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Business profile set-up

Your Google business profile completed with the right services, service areas, photographs and contact details.

Result: The profile names the towns you serve and the systems you install.

  2. Town and region service pages

One page for each region, covering the settings served there, the installer partner and how to book a survey.

Result: A buyer in each town finds a page that names their town.

  3. Installer partner listings

Listings and profiles for local contractors and dealers who install and support your devices, kept consistent with yours.

Result: Partner names, addresses and services match across the web.

  4. Photographs from regional sites

Geotagged-style captions and labels on installation photographs, with the client's permission, for the profile and the pages.

Result: Each region has real site images that show where you work.

  5. Questions and review handling

A routine for answering questions on the profile and replying to client reviews in a courteous, factual way.

Result: Every question and review on the profile has a reply on record.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

Be found where a plant owner searches in their own town.

temperature monitoring for cold storage near me
A profile and service page naming the cold-store clusters you install in, so the search answers with your office and a survey form.
vehicle tracking installation in Coimbatore
A city page for transporters, naming the depots and routes you cover and who fits the unit.
water tank level sensor installer
A page for housing societies in one city, with the installer partner who answers a call there.
industrial IoT company in Pune
A page for the plant belts of one city, showing machine monitoring on a site you can name with consent.
smart energy meter dealer
A page for factory and building owners that says where meters are fitted, who supports them and how a fault is reported.

Who it is for

This is written for these IoT companies.

  • Fleet and vehicle tracking providers
  • Cold chain and temperature monitoring specialists
  • Smart energy and electricity metering firms
  • Water, borewell and tank level monitoring providers
  • Industrial machine monitoring and condition sensing firms
  • Agriculture sensing and irrigation control providers
  • Smart building and access automation integrators
  • Asset and container tracking firms

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You have no installer or support person in the town you want to rank for, so a local listing would promise a visit you cannot make.
  • Your clients object to being named, and you have no consent to show any nearby site, so a local page would have no proof to carry.
  • You sell only through a distributor who handles all enquiries, so a profile in your name would send callers to the wrong people.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Write down what is true

Each branch's real address, signboard name, phone, hours and owning Google account go into one record you sign off. Every later listing is copied from it.

  2. 2

    Search as your buyer does

We search each branch on a phone from points around it, in your buyers' words, and note who appears with what reviews and photos.

  3. 3

    Fix the profile first

Ownership first, then name, address, pin, phone, hours and business type. Google can suspend a profile with extra words in its name or an address that is not a real premises.

  4. 4

Build the branch pages and match the listings

Each real branch gets its own page, and the other listings are changed to agree with it. We write none for towns without a branch, because Google treats near-identical pages as doorway pages.

  5. 5

    Ask, reply and measure

We agree with each branch who asks for reviews, when and how. Results are set against the baseline recorded before work began, and the branch that is behind gets the next round.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

We work across India. Does local SEO still apply?
Yes, for the towns where you survey and support. Buyers still search by place before they call. National pages and town pages do different jobs, and the second kind is what makes a distant firm look reachable.
Can we ask clients for reviews?
You can ask, and the client decides what to write. Do not offer gifts or discounts for reviews, and check the platform's current rules. A reply that thanks the client and names the setting reads better than a generic line.
Should every installer partner have a profile?
Where a partner runs a shop or office, a profile helps buyers find them. Keep names and details the same everywhere. Where the partner is an individual working from home, discuss what they want shown before listing anything.
Can a city page work if our installer partner is outside our own office town?
Yes, if the page names the partner who fits and supports units there. A buyer in that city wants to know who comes to the site. Show the partner's role and the support route, and make sure the partner agrees to the listing.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
