Laptop repair services · WhatsApp marketing

Turn the WhatsApp message with a photo of a dead laptop into a booked repair.

WhatsApp marketing for a laptop repair shop is the use of one business number for enquiries, estimates, status updates and returning-customer messages. GullySales works on the profile, the replies and the permission to message, with the shop's own staff answering.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For laptop repair services

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The first message is a photograph”

A customer sends a picture of a black screen or a cracked hinge and asks what it costs. A reply that asks for the model, the symptom and whether it switches on turns the photograph into a proper enquiry.

  • “Personal numbers lose the thread”

A technician replies from a personal phone, leaves, and the history leaves too. A business number with saved replies and labels keeps the conversation with the shop.

  • “Status updates are the best use of the channel”

A message at diagnosis, at repair and at delivery, carrying the laptop's tag number, calms the customer more than any promise. Silence is what sends them to another shop.

  • “Broadcasts need permission”

Sending offers to every number in the phone brings blocks and complaints. Messages to past customers should go to those who agreed to hear from the shop, and check the platform's current rules on business messaging.

What we do

What we deliver for laptop repair services.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A set-up WhatsApp Business profile

Business name, address, hours, catalogue of repairs by fault and a greeting that asks for model and symptom.

Result: A first-time sender sees a real shop.

  2. Saved replies for the common questions

Replies on data safety, diagnosis charge, pickup-and-drop, estimate steps and opening hours.

Result: Common questions are answered the same way every time.

  3. Tagged status messages

Templates for received, diagnosed, repaired and ready, each with the tag number and the next step.

Result: Customer and staff name the same laptop.

  4. Labels for the stage of the enquiry

Labels such as new, estimate sent, approved and collected, used by everyone who answers.

Result: You can see where each chat stands.

  5. A permission-based list for returning customers

A simple way to ask customers at delivery whether they want occasional messages about upgrades and care.

Result: Your broadcasts go to people who agreed.

  6. Click-to-chat links on listings and pages

WhatsApp links on the Maps profile, the website and printed cards.

Result: Every route to the shop ends in one chat.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Send the right message at each moment a customer is waiting on a laptop.

Photograph of the fault
Ask for the screen, the label and the charger, so the first reply can be a range and a visit time instead of a long chat.
Receipt confirmation
A message with the job number, the date and the line that no file is opened without permission.
Estimate with reasons
The fault, the part, the amount and the question needing a yes, in one message the customer can forward at work.
Pickup and drop slot
The area, the window and the name of the person collecting, sent before they arrive.
Ready message
The job number, the hours and what to bring, with a link to the profile's address.
Opt-in for service reminders
A line at collection asking if the customer wants a battery or dust-cleaning reminder, with a way to say no.

Who it is for

This is written for these laptop repair services.

  • Neighbourhood laptop repair shops handling screens, batteries and keyboards
  • Chip-level and motherboard repair specialists
  • MacBook and premium laptop specialists
  • Gaming laptop service and upgrade shops
  • Data recovery and SSD upgrade providers
  • Repair firms that run AMCs for small offices and clinics
  • Pickup-and-drop laptop repair services for homes and workplaces
  • Authorised service partners who also take out-of-warranty work
  • Shops near colleges and coaching centres where students bring machines

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You use a personal number for the shop, so threads would mix family chats with customer machines and files.
  • You have no one to answer after the counter closes, so a WhatsApp number would raise expectations of replies you cannot give.
  • You plan to send promotions to customers who never agreed to receive them, which breaks the platform's rules and the customer's trust.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is a WhatsApp Business account free?
The app is free to download and use for small shops. Some larger tools and message types carry charges set by the platform. Check the current terms before choosing a paid route.
Can we send customer files over WhatsApp?
Avoid it. Customer files should not be moved through chat. Your data-safety statement should say how files are handled, and the chat should only carry status and estimates.
Should we use a chatbot?
A simple automatic greeting helps. A full bot that answers repair questions risks wrong replies. We keep a person on the estimate and the data questions.
May we send customers promotional messages?
Only to those who have agreed to receive them. Send repair updates freely, but keep offers to a list of customers who said yes at collection. The platform's rules on business messaging change, so check them before sending a broadcast.
Is it fine to ask customers to send files on WhatsApp?
Avoid it. Files on a customer's laptop are private, and receiving them over chat leaves copies on phones. Tell the customer what the shop does with files and, where a copy is needed, use a method the customer controls.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
