Men's salons · Local SEO

The salon on the map near the metro exit gets the haircut, whoever is better.

Local SEO for a men's salon decides which shops appear on the map when someone nearby searches for a haircut or beard trim. GullySales works on the Maps profile, the catchment and the review habit that sit behind that result.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For men's salons

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Distance beats reputation on a Sunday morning”

The man on the pavement picks the nearest open shop with a good rating. A famous salon three roads away loses to an ordinary one at the corner if the first shows as closed.

  • “Wrong hours cost a visit and a review”

When the profile says ten and the shutter is down at nine, the customer leaves and sometimes writes why. Holiday hours and the real closing time are the cheapest fixes on the list.

  • “Reviews that name a stylist help the next reader”

A line such as the stylist did a clean fade tells the next customer who to ask for. Reviews that praise a person also make the stylist want the shop's name on their chair.

  • “Photos older than the last renovation mislead”

The chairs have changed, the lights are different and the receptionist has left. A profile showing the old shop makes a new customer doubt the rest of it.

What we do

What we deliver for men's salons.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A verified and complete Maps profile

Name, address, categories, services, hours and booking link entered and checked against the shop front.

Result: The profile matches what a customer finds at the door.

  2. Hours for holidays and festival days

Special hours entered ahead of each holiday and Sunday variation.

Result: Customers see the shop as open when it is open.

  3. Photos of the shop as it is now

Fresh pictures of the entrance, chairs, wash area and finished cuts, with consent for any face.

Result: The photos match the shop on the day a customer walks in.

  4. A review ask at the counter

A QR card or link handed over at billing, with a reply written to every review.

Result: New reviews arrive from customers who actually visited.

  5. A reading of calls, directions and bookings

The profile's own counts of calls and direction taps, noted before the work and read afterwards.

Result: You can tell whether the listing sends people to the door.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these men's salons.

  • Standalone men's salons run by the owner in one locality
  • Men's grooming lounges with a hair spa and facial room
  • Salons inside malls and high street shopfronts
  • Franchise outlets of men's salon chains
  • Salons near IT parks and offices with an after-work crowd
  • Salons near colleges, hostels and PG clusters
  • Salons with a groom's grooming and pre-wedding package
  • Salons that also sell beard oil, wax and hair products

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Your brief

Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can two outlets share one Maps profile?
No. Each outlet needs its own verified profile with its own address, photos and hours, otherwise the two compete for the same result. Check the platform's current rules on multiple locations.
Should we answer bad reviews?
Yes, in plain words and in public. A calm reply about a long wait or a rushed trim is read by the next customer and shows that the shop listens.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
