CRM, lead flow and sales techniques · Selling after the sale
Name the moments after the sale and give each one an owner.
Customer lifecycle milestones are the observable moments after a deal closes: launch, first value, first repeat order, upsell, referral. A milestone map names each one, an owner and a target. This page covers defining them in plain terms, assigning owners and writing down any incentive rules.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph
Customer lifecycle milestones are the observable moments after a deal closes: launch, first value, first repeat order, upsell, referral. A milestone map names each one, an owner and a target. This page covers defining them in plain terms, assigning owners and writing down any incentive rules.
A CCTV and security installer in Mysuru closes forty installations a quarter. After the invoice the file goes quiet. Nobody checks that the cameras are viewed on the owner's phone, nobody notes when the first AMC renewal falls due, and the first sign of trouble is a call three months later.
The sale is a single day. What decides whether the customer comes back is the sequence that follows, and nobody has named it. A milestone map names it. It lists the moments a customer should pass through, in order, with a plain test for each.
The owner draws the map. Each milestone is assigned to a person: installation to the project lead, first value to whoever trains the customer, repeat order to the account owner. It replaces the habit of treating the sale as the end.
The handover page covers the move from sales to delivery. The repeat and reorder page covers asking again. This page sets out the whole run between them.

If you want this done for you
A new customer's first weeks with you should prove they chose right.
The work
What this is actually like.
“Define each milestone as something you can see”
Launch is not we installed. It is the customer logged in with their own phone. First value is the first time the product saved them money or time, in their own words. If you cannot observe it, you cannot mark it done.
“Delivery teams own the early ones”
The first two milestones belong to whoever installs or onboards, not to sales. Give them a target and a name. Otherwise sales celebrates the signature and delivery treats the customer as a closed ticket.
“Celebrate small and say so”
A thank-you message when the customer reaches first value costs nothing and makes the next milestone more likely. A short note from the owner by WhatsApp works better than a gift hamper.
“If pay is tied to milestones, write it down”
Where reps or delivery staff are paid on repeat orders or referrals, put the rule in writing before it applies, and have your CA or adviser check how it fits with pay and tax. Verbal rules cause arguments later.
What we do
What you end up with.
The documents this topic produces, what each one is for, and how you know it is finished.
The milestone map
A row per milestone from launch to advocacy. Columns for the plain-language test, owner, target date after the sale, and what the customer sees.
Result: Finished when a stranger can read the map and say whether a given customer has reached first value.
The owner and target sheet
Each milestone with the person responsible and the number you will track, such as customers reaching first value within a set number of days. The owner sets the number from your own past jobs.
Result: Finished when every milestone has one name beside it.
The celebration messages
A short WhatsApp message for each milestone, written in your voice and in the customer's language, with the sender's name.
Result: Finished when a message is sent within a day of a milestone being marked.
The tracking column set
Columns added to your customer sheet or CRM: milestone, date reached, who marked it. A simple tick and date is enough.
Result: Finished when you can list customers stuck before first value.
The incentive note
If anyone's pay depends on a milestone, a one-page written rule agreed by both sides and reviewed by your adviser.
Result: Finished when the person affected has signed or acknowledged the rule.
Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
