Employer branding · Hospitality and food service

There is no dining room to walk into, so the page has to stand in for the building.

Employer branding for a cloud kitchen is the awkward job of hiring into a company a candidate cannot see: four brand names on an app, one kitchen up a staircase, and no address a cook can visit. GullySales writes the page, the posts and the film that replace that doorway.

A colliery lamp room seen from the counter: the roller shutter half up over a deep hatch, rows of cap lamps and their batteries hanging on hooks in the recess behind it, a rack of self-rescuers on the wall above, and a check-board of pegs beside the hatch with a single brass tally hanging on it where a lamp has gone out

Where this sits

For cloud kitchens and food delivery companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Your brand names belong to the app and the company that pays is invisible

A cook has eaten your biryani and never heard your company's name. The search that should end at your careers page ends at a listing on a delivery platform.

  • Nobody can walk in and look at the place

A restaurant candidate judges a kitchen by standing in the doorway for thirty seconds. Yours is on the first floor of a building with no signboard.

  • The job is the dinner rush, and saying so filters the right people in

Between seven and eleven the kitchen is unrecognisable. Describing those four hours honestly loses the applicants who would have gone in a fortnight anyway.

  • News about the sector is the first thing a candidate reads about you

Search your company name and a candidate meets funding rounds, shutdowns and somebody else's layoffs. Nothing you have written sits between that and the application form.

What we do

What we deliver for cloud kitchens and food delivery companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A careers page that introduces the company behind the app brands

Who owns the brands, how many kitchens, which cities, and what happens to a team when a brand is retired. Written for a cook, not for an investor.

Result: A candidate knows who would actually be employing him before the interview.

  2. The kitchen on film

A short walkthrough of a working kitchen, the stations, the cold storage, the packing bench and the shift change, shot as it is rather than styled.

Result: Somebody applying from another city knows what she is joining.

  3. Posts that name the shift window

Kitchen, packing and city operations roles, each stating the hours, the peak, the weekly off and whether the kitchen runs on festival nights.

Result: Fewer joiners quit in week two over the timing.

  4. Where riders and partners stand, stated plainly

If your delivery runs on partners rather than employees, the page says so in words that leave no room for a misunderstanding, including who they contract with.

Result: A rider signing up knows what he is signing, and you do not inherit the argument.

  5. A new city launch pack

Hiring notices in the language the area reads, a local number, and posts for a kitchen that has no reputation in that city yet.

Result: The first kitchen in a new city is staffed without flying people in.

  6. An answer to what people find when they search you

The sector coverage, the platform listings and anything former staff have written, mapped, with a written position for the questions that will come up in interviews.

Result: Your recruiter is never hearing a question for the first time in the room.

How the result is measured

  • Applications received per open role
  • Careers page engagement and time on page
  • Candidate drop-off during the interview process
  • Referral hires as a share of total hires

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for cloud kitchens and food delivery companies

  1. 1

    Talk to current employees

We interview a cross-section of staff honestly, including some who might raise uncomfortable points.

  2. 2

Find the genuine reasons to join

We identify what is actually true and attractive about working there, rather than generic claims that could apply anywhere.

  3. 3

    Build the careers content

The careers page, job post templates and employee stories are written from what staff actually said.

  4. 4

    Review the candidate experience

We check what happens between application and offer, since branding cannot fix a process that loses candidates through delay.

  5. 5

    Hand over and refresh periodically

Content is handed over for ongoing use and revisited periodically as the team and roles change.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do you supply kitchen staff or riders?
Neither. GullySales does not recruit, does not run a rider network and does not touch payroll or partner payouts. We write what a candidate reads and what your interviewer says.
Our brands change every few months. Does a careers page survive that?
It should be built to. The page is written about the company and the kitchens rather than the current brand line-up, so a menu change does not make it wrong. The brand names sit in one block that takes five minutes to update.
Is this the wrong time, given how the sector reads in the news?
If you are about to shut kitchens, yes, and we would rather say that than take the work. A warm page published a month before a round of exits does more damage than silence, because the people you did hire will read it. Once the footprint is settled, this is worth doing.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
