An engineer checks your outage history before they check your careers page.

A payments company or neobank hires engineers, risk and operations people who research an employer the way they would debug a system: app store reviews, status pages, funding news and whatever a former employee wrote. GullySales writes a careers page that survives that reading.

A colliery lamp room seen from the counter: the roller shutter half up over a deep hatch, rows of cap lamps and their batteries hanging on hooks in the recess behind it, a rack of self-rescuers on the wall above, and a check-board of pegs beside the hatch with a single brass tally hanging on it where a lamp has gone out

In one paragraph

Where this sits

For fintech and payment companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Your candidate does due diligence and is good at it

Somebody joining a company that moves money reads the app store reviews, the status page and the last regulatory notice before the first call. A careers page that mentions none of it is filed as marketing.

  • On-call for money at two in the morning

Settlement runs at night and the pager is real. Describing the rota, the escalation and how often it actually fires attracts a better engineer than any paragraph about culture.

  • Compliance is either a cage or a problem, depending on how you write it

Risk, know-your-customer rules and the regulator's requirements are the interesting constraint in this work, and most careers pages hide them. The engineer who wants that problem is the one who stays.

  • Everybody asks about runway and nobody has an agreed answer

After two years of layoff headlines the question comes in every loop, and each interviewer improvises. Write the answer once and let it be the same from the recruiter to the founder.

What we do

What we deliver for fintech and payment companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A careers page that says what you have been through

The outage, the regulatory correction, the pivot, and what changed afterwards. Written plainly and cleared by your compliance and communications people before it appears.

Result: Candidates arrive having read the bad part and not flinching at it.

  2. Engineering posts with the system in them

The stack, the volume you actually run, the on-call rota, what a new engineer ships in the first month. Not a list of years of experience.

Result: Applications from people who wanted this system rather than any job in fintech.

  3. Risk, compliance and operations posts written as real work

Fraud analysts, know-your-customer operations and compliance roles described by the decisions the person owns and who they can overrule.

Result: The team you find hardest to hire stops being advertised as back office.

  4. Engineer interviews, published

Half an hour each with your own engineers about what they built and what broke. Approved by them, quoted as they said it.

Result: Proof from people a candidate can look up on the internet afterwards.

  5. One answer to the money question

What your interviewers say about funding, profitability and headcount plans, written once with your founder and used everywhere.

Result: The question that ends offers stops producing four different answers.

  6. What is already being said about you

We read the job review sites and the anonymous forums properly and list what the careers page and the interview loop should address. We do not post replies pretending to be employees.

Result: You know what your candidate read last night before they walked in.

How the result is measured

  • Applications received per open role
  • Careers page engagement and time on page
  • Candidate drop-off during the interview process
  • Referral hires as a share of total hires

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for fintech and payment companies

  1. 1

    Talk to current employees

We interview a cross-section of staff honestly, including some who might raise uncomfortable points.

  2. 2

Find the genuine reasons to join

We identify what is actually true and attractive about working there, rather than generic claims that could apply anywhere.

  3. 3

    Build the careers content

The careers page, job post templates and employee stories are written from what staff actually said.

  4. 4

    Review the candidate experience

We check what happens between application and offer, since branding cannot fix a process that loses candidates through delay.

  5. 5

    Hand over and refresh periodically

Content is handed over for ongoing use and revisited periodically as the team and roles change.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can you get negative employee reviews taken down?
No, and we would not try. Anonymous reviews are not ours to remove and attempts to game them are spotted quickly in this industry. We read them, find the complaints that are true, and make the careers page and the interview process deal with those instead of pretending.
Do you recruit engineers?
No. GullySales writes content, not offers. We do not source candidates, run interviews or touch employment contracts and payroll, and on a page about a regulated business we work to your compliance team's approval.
Our consumer brand is strong. Why does the employer side need separate work?
Because somebody who likes your app knows nothing about the on-call rota or the risk team. The consumer brand gets a candidate to open the careers page and does nothing after that. If your engineers already refer friends without being asked, you probably do not need this yet.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
