Self-drive car rental companies · WhatsApp marketing

Turn the chat where renters already ask into a booking desk that never forgets.

WhatsApp marketing for a self-drive company covers how you answer, quote and follow up with renters on the app they already use. GullySales works on a business account, saved replies and consented broadcasts, so a chat becomes a booking and not a lost thread.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For self-drive car rental companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The enquiry is already a chat”

Renters ask about a Thar on WhatsApp because it is faster than a form. An account that greets them, asks for the dates and sends a total in the first message meets them where they are.

  • “Documents travel on chat”

Licence photographs and ID copies are sent through WhatsApp every day. Without a clear rule, they sit in personal phones. A routine that moves them into the booking record, and clears them from the chat, protects the renter and you.

  • “A broadcast to everyone is spam”

A message about a sale sent to every number you have annoys people who rented once in a different city. Messages should go to renters who agreed to hear from you, grouped by what they rented and where.

What we do

What we deliver for self-drive car rental companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Business account set-up

A WhatsApp Business profile with hours, address, catalogue of cars and an away message that sets expectations.

Result: A renter sees a real business, not a personal number.

  2. Saved replies for the common questions

Ready answers on rate, deposit, kilometre cap, documents and pickup, written once and used by the whole team.

Result: The team answers the same way every time.

  3. Car catalogue

Each car listed with photographs, a note on what it suits and the booking details.

Result: A renter can browse the fleet inside the chat.

  4. Consent-based broadcast lists

Lists of renters who opted in, grouped by city and car, with an easy way to stop messages.

Result: Holiday messages reach only people who agreed.

  5. Chat-to-record routine

A step that moves each confirmed booking and its documents from the chat into the booking record.

Result: Nothing important is left only in a chat.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need the official WhatsApp Business API?
Not for a small fleet. The Business app is enough to start. Move to the API when several staff share a number or you want automated flows, and check the platform's current rules and costs first.
Can we message past renters about offers?
Only those who agreed to hear from you, and within the platform's current rules. Record when and how they consented, and make it easy for them to say stop.
What should the first reply contain?
A greeting, the car and dates being asked about, and the total with deposit and fuel rule. If dates are missing, ask for them in the same message so the renter has one thing to answer.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
