Taxi operators · WhatsApp marketing

Let a rider book a cab by typing a message, with the fare and the driver in the same thread.

WhatsApp marketing for a taxi operator is using one business number to take bookings, confirm pickups and keep regular riders informed. GullySales works on the profile, the saved replies and the consent rules, so the number serves riders without becoming spam.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For taxi operators

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Riders already live in the chat”

A rider with luggage would rather send a pin and a time than explain an address on a call. The operator with a number that answers messages wins the rider who dislikes phoning.

  • “A personal number cannot carry a business”

When the dispatcher leaves with the phone, the booking line goes with them. A business account owned by the operator survives staff changes and holds the quick replies, the catalogue of cars and the opening hours.

  • “A broadcast to everyone damages the number”

A message sent to every contact, including those who never asked, draws blocks and complaints. Check the platform's current rules, send to riders who agreed, and keep each message about a ride.

  • “The thread is the record”

Pickup pin, agreed fare, car type and driver details all sit in the chat. A dispute over toll or waiting is settled by scrolling up, which is a reason to quote in writing every time.

What we do

What we deliver for taxi operators.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business profile set up properly

Name, address, hours, a description of services and the cars you run, on a number the operator owns.

Result: A rider opening the profile sees who you are and when you answer.

  2. Quick replies for the common questions

Saved replies for fare method, pickup, car options, driver details and outstation quotes.

Result: The dispatcher answers the common questions in a tap.

  3. A booking message flow

A short set of questions, pickup, drop, date, passengers and luggage, that collects what the dispatcher needs.

Result: A booking arrives with the details already in it.

  4. Consent and opt-out handling

A way to record that a rider agreed to messages and a clear route to stop them.

Result: Your contact list holds only riders who said yes.

  5. Regular rider reminders

Confirmation messages for riders on repeat runs, sent from the office and checked by the dispatcher.

Result: Regular pickups are confirmed without a call.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need the official business API?
For a small desk, the business app is enough to begin. Larger fleets that want automated flows may need the API; GullySales will say which suits you.
Can we share our number on the cars?
Yes. A number and a message link on the cab, the stand board and the receipt are the usual places. Riders then save it before they need it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
